As a widespread search for him is conducted and with his life ebbing gradually away, he is led through a fantasy world by the improbable Rah. This novel was written as a Flan O'Brien or Terry Pratchett for preteens of all ages. The personalities of the kids are more akin to the characters in Golding's 'Lord of the Flies' than the genteel children of 'Harry Potter' or Enid Blyton books.The events of TOX O'Sé are set in the early 2000s.

This anthology of short stories has science fiction elements, however, most of the tales are more speculative fiction and, in essence, philosophical - mischievously extrapolating quotes from historical figures. A.I. is a most frequent theme but the stories also explore the multiverse; mental health; mass murder; mind control; time manipulation and travel; post-apocalypse scenarios; alien civilisations, and lots of birds.
