The rapture of Christians to be with the Lord at the end of this age has been a point of much contention over the years. In this regard, the commonly held doctrines of pre-tribulation and post-tribulation rapture are greatly deficient. They especially miss the most important aspect of the rapture - the growth and maturity of the divine life within the believers. The Lord is quite clear in His speaking that the end of this age will occur when it is time to "harvest" the believers from the earth. As it is with most any crop, some portion of the fruit ripens before the majority does. And so, with the believers there are both the firstfruits and the harvest. This book explores the great differences between the raptures of the firstfruits and harvest in detail, comparing the time, place, and various other aspects of their being taken to be with the Lord.
God is calling us Christians to come forward to that for which we have been predestined, to come forward in this age before the Lord returns, to run after Christ, gain Christ, and attain the goal. The prize to those who do attain this goal has been described in some detail in previous books of this series on Revelation. However, not all Christians will come forward and gain Christ during this age. What of those who don't, those who are not sufficiently mature in Christ as the end of the age approaches? This book focuses on these - the majority of Christians - who will remain on the earth to pass through the great tribulation. It centers on Revelation 12 where the universal woman is seen fleeing to her place in the wilderness, where she will be nourished during the last three and a half years before the Lord's return.
Delusion is a condition of the mind and heart, a state of being in which deception rules. It is not just a matter of being deceived - we all suffer from being deceived to some level. Rather, when deception rules the heart, when deception becomes the norm, when a lie is accepted as the truth and held onto at all costs - that is delusion. When deception is so deep that it is woven into the fabric of a person's character, how is it possible to cure that? When one's foundation is at least in part a lie, what can be done? In fact, there is no cure. Nothing can be done. It is not possible to truly heal such a condition. Except…This book explores delusion and the means God has provided to save us from this state.
