In recent years the Indian English Literature has made conspicuous progress in all its forms, mainly in fiction. Many Indian English Writers have won awards, appreciation and wide readership in India and abroad in the recent past. In the course of seeking basic information, I have consulted a number of books, book reviews, articles, etc., web-based sources are also profusely consulted. The present book is a modest attempt to present a critical analysis of some selected and celebrated novels of contemporary Indian women novelists in English. This book has covered all the novels selected in research perspective. The detailed textual study of these novels might help the research scholars and university students.
