Text in Arabic. This book seeks, first of all, to make a modest contribution to trying to bridge the gap between the young reader and his narrative, written and oral heritage, as most of these tales are mainly drawn from our Arab heritage, and some of them may be from the global heritage. Secondly, it seeks to contribute to the reconciliation of the younger generation with reading, after their repulsion from it, and them drowning in the quicksand of the modernized means of communication. It thirdly seeks rehabilitating the memorization, one of the branches to the Arabic language, which has been largely marginalised by public education curriculum in our Arab nations.
Text in Arabic. This book consists of reviews for 30 Arabic novels. It is part of a six-book series that, altogether, reviews a total of 262 Arabic novels providing insight and criticism to various texts from Arabic literature published in the last two decades.
