This expert and self-contained authored handbook provides comprehensive coverage of liquid crystals from the fundamental materials science, physics, and modeling through cutting-edge applications. Written by an author with over 40 years of active experience in this growing field, it offers an unprecedented self-contained treatment of this key research area. Liquid Crystals are a state of matter sharing properties that are usually associated with both solids and liquids. Their study belongs to wider field of soft condensed matter physics, an area growing in importance because of the new physics being discovered and the possibilities of various technological applications being developed. Liquid crystals continue to have a revolutionary technological impact and consistently pose new challenges of basic understanding. While the experimental side of liquid crystal research is very well developed, theoretical understanding has lagged, and this volume fills a gap in the published literature in terms of rigorous treatment of mathematical and computer modeling approaches. Volume II of this handbook deals with advanced aspects of liquid crystals and their applications, covering computer simulations of phase transitions in liquid crystals, liquid crystals of biomolecules, and defect textures in liquid crystals. Overall, this handbook serves as the ultimate scholarly guide for researchers, scientists, and engineers seeking to unlock the full potential of liquid crystals. It offers a comprehensive understanding of these materials and their diverse applications, empowering readers to navigate the complex intricacies of liquid crystal science and technology.

Can an incident become a discovery?Yes, most of the discoveries are based on the incident. Likewise, an incident happened on 13th July 1981 in extraordinary circumstances that a wife achieved 11 orgasms in one session of intercourse. It was shocking because it never happened in seven years of their married life. That extraordinary situation became a technique, and what went in their mind became theories. At that particular time, the couple felt that every orgasm begets another orgasm. After 13th July, they wanted to know if all couples enjoy multi-orgasmic sex? And found that not only couples but also world-renowned sexologists are unknown to this kind of intercourse. Although Dr. Masters and Johnson agreed that women are capable of achieving multiple orgasms but not through intercourse, rather by masturbation. This was an eye-opening phenomenon because the premature ejaculation of the husband is the reason for the wife to not achieve multiple orgasms.Later on, both have gone through all sexologists and psychiatrists and found that from Sigmund Freud to Dr. Masters and Johnson, all were indicating towards multi-orgasmic sex during intercourse but couldn't do anything about it because the concept in which orgasm begets another orgasm was unknown to them. How a male can stop ejaculation and prolong intercourse with a full erection? How a full erection can be continued till a woman is satisfied? In these situations, the authors have discovered and developed the techniques and theories which you will find in this book. The authors are inviting advice, suggestions and debates from all couples and sexologists in the world on all techniques and theories mentioned in this book. Thanks to all sexologists and psychiatrists who came forward to either support or rebut.
