A re-imagining of, or perhaps a sequel to, William Shakespeare's The Tempest, Caliban's Offspring, a full-length play, tells the darkly magical and tragic love triangle between the enslaved native Caliban, his lover Miranda, and Miranda's tyrannic father and sorcerer Prospero. The titular character, the secret lovechild of Caliban and Miranda, threatens to tear asunder Prospero's iron-fisted magical kingdom that enslaves Ariel and other magical creatures on the island.
