The first major monograph on the work of London-based painter Susie Hamilton, featuring an introduction by Charlotte Mullins, an interview by Louisa Buck and an extended essay by Anna McNay. The publication has been edited by Anneka French, designed by Hyperkit, produced by Hurtwood and published by Anomie, London.
Emotionally wounded souls. We pass them every day not knowing their level of brokenness. They are in our family, friends, workplaces and even in our churches. A broken life doesn't happen overnight. It can begin with one misguided perception of an event in our childhood with each subsequent tainted decision, or reaction, building a distorted reflection of who we were intended to be by our Creator, God. It is only through the rebuilding, renewing and transformation power of our Father God that our true identity arises from the ashes of our brokenness. Our Abba Father wants to have a relationship with us. It is through this relationship that he can and will restore us to the person he created us to be, but we must allow him to do this. This is my story.
