Finn, retired from researching, attempts to time travel in the outback of Australia. He stays in the present, however, and encounters an indigenous person who's following dreaming tracks. The two are captured by an outlaw group, who fight for indigenous rights, and Finn finds himself becoming their leader. Facing the military, Finn and his group must somehow overcome overwhelming odds. The key to survival is the help of a dreaming animal, a maruspial mole. The reader is invited to have fun with this adventure in which a way is shown for the small and those with spirit to become the future.
