In Scary Cat 4, Pipa and her friends explore a Spooky house. There are no supernatural threats. Rather, the air of mystery is what feeds the infantile fears of the characters. At first, Pipa's friends are hyper focused on a so called "Haunted Doll". The doll apparently has the ability to speak. The initial investigations show the doll not doing anything. While investigating the doll, a bug lands close to Pipa's face. This triggers Pipa's bug phobia. So, she naturally runs deeper into the spooky house. The book then becomes a hide and seek game. The readers and Pipa's friends are tasked with finding where Scary Cat is hiding. The book teaches children to use their powers of observation and to think critically. Just because someone tells you that a place is haunted by ghosts, you shouldn't believe them. Just because a doll can talk, one shouldn't imminently think ghosts are involved. Talking dolls are real, and they talk because they have a robotic component that gives them the ability to speak. I hope you find Pipa's next Scary adventure amusing and humorous.
The story takes place in 1982. It was a couple of years before I was born. People love the 80s, and so it seemed like a good idea to turn back the clock a bit. Cuba after the revolution entered a type of time bubble. The world changes and flows, while that country is stagnant, and never changing. Even now, with the supposed changes, it still feels like the place has not changed one bit. As for the characters, they are not real people with their names changed. That would just be lazy writing if you ask me. Think of it like putting all the ingredients in a pot, and then stirring, and stirring them to form a soup. This book is like a soup. If you like soup, then you will enjoy it. If you do not, then at least you bought my soup, and so I get to eat cheesecake for another day. What is important is that you find this book remotely entertaining. It is a bit shorter than some of my other works, but I putted the same effort as I did in some of my other works. The title was the thing I gave the most thought. I wanted to make it something simple, and unassuming. Eventually, I wiggled it down to just The House. If The House manages to scare you even a little bit, then I may have some hope as a horror writer. If not, I hope it makes you feel a little sometime, even if that feeling is just mild amusement. Now, sit back and enjoy my new book.
First Book In the Scary Cat Series. By the writer of the Saturnastra Series, the Chiblia and the Furies. A book about facing your fears. It is written for kids to teach them about facing their fear and being brave. Ages 3 and Up. A perfect first book for your child to read. Written in easy to understand large font for any beginner reader.Felipa runs a detective agency with her friends. Her new case is to search with her friends for the source of a scary sound in the forest. She gets lost and her father goes to find her. There are many Scary Cats in the world. Some may even live in your own home. I first conceived of the idea of Scary Cat about a year ago. I am always brainstorming new book ideas. Scary Cat seemed like a good concept for a Children's book. This book is the first one I have drawn by hand. I used Copic markers, and Sakura Pigma Micron Pens. The speech bubbles were added with Photoshop. Since this book is going to be a series, I spent a lot of time in the first volume introducing the characters. I spent a lot of time designing the characters. Each of them is themed after a specific type of cat. The main girl, Filipa, is based on a Tuxedo Cat. The mother is a Calico cat, and the older sister is a Havana Brown Cat. The Tuxedo cat is not a type of cat breed. Rather, it is the name for the color patches. Filipa has a step-dad, and a little brother too. I thought it would make the family dynamics a little bit more interesting. The drawing style of the book is Kawaii. I thought the Kawaii style was interesting enough. Still, I feel that the anatomy is more Chibi. The scenery I drew it realistic, with cute faces in houses and trees. The first story is about looking for a scary sound in the woods. Kids tend to get worked up by unusual sounds. I was going for a whole investigative crew type of feel for the stories. Still, I do not want to make the scary stuff be a guy wearing a costume. There will never be a guy in a scary costume. The book is meant for little kids, but grown up can enjoy the book too, if they have nothing better to do. Hopefully, the kids will be able to cope with their childhood fears. Aside from the cat family, in this book there will be other species of people. I do not plan to have humans featured. Each of the creatures will have some of the passive abilities of their animal counterparts. Scary Cat Filipa will be able to climb, and her penguin friend will be able to swim underwater. Filipa will also roam a bit, as is the habit of kitties. I seen them roaming about from time to time, in the back garden. Aside from the book, I suppose I should speak of myself a bit. I graduated with Honors from FIU from the School of Journalism. I have a Bachelor in Communications. I started drawing in my spare time, between my classes. This is the second series of children books that I have started. The other one is about the Bible. I could have done with story with any other type of animal. I could have even used people. Instead, I used cats and cute little animals. I like cats. I hope you like cats too. Aside from children's books, I have a manga and a fantasy book series. You can check them out, if you like the way I write and draw.

Chalon is about the 11th book in the series or maybe the 12th. Ahi ended up being two books. This book has its own unique type of gimmick, like the others. I tried to make this book in a way that it takes place all in a day. I read that there was a book that takes place all in a day. I forget the name of it. Chalon explores a day in the life of a character. The Book takes day during the course of one day.The problem was that the book jumped from character to character. Mine focuses only on Chalon. You get a fairly good idea of his entire life story in a day. The book has a couple of horror elements here and there. Aside from a silly jump scare, there is not much to fuzz about as far as scary stuff. Still, I might be wrong about it. I tend to write scary stuff without meaning to. As for Chalon, he works with a traveling troupe of musicians, and actors. From time to time, merchants join his caravan. There is safety in numbers. The book focuses on a typical show day, with practices before the night falls, and other minor errands to run. Along the way, there are problems that arise that Chalon needs to address. Some of those problems even take him into prison. The story takes place in Sassari. It is a city that was lightly touched upon in Melina. In the book Melina, you find out about the palace life. This book covers the happenings of normal folks who are not royalty. I also added some action here and there just for kicks. Folks like violence in their books often. The prison scene is also a bit of a nightmare fuel. At least, my brother seems to think so. As with most of my books, I need to write a pretty long-winded introduction. The book also comes with a second introduction written by a character from a different book of mine. The chapters are each time slots. I move up a chapter, every time a long scene happens. It seemed like a good way to segment the book. All in all, the entire book is just one long scene, with short demarcations. Folks seem to like chapters a lot. It prevents the readers from getting desperate. As of lately, the writing progress has been a lot slow. There is plenty on my mind. If you are reading this, then I must inform you that it was written in the year 2020. The book itself is actually a lot older. Publications take time, and a lot of editing. Usually, the long-winded introductions come later. At the moment, I am struggling to finish the final book in the series, Rimaru. I am also starting to translate the short story book to Spanish. It is important to try out different markets. The English one is sadly not going as well as I would hope. I wonder if English speakers read anymore. I suppose if it is not in video game format, then folks will not bother with it. Even movies and TV shows are going the day of the dodo. The video game industry is just swallowing everything up. This is more a pity for traditional media like books. When I get a chance, I should get around to making audiobooks. I can read my books fine. I usually read books to my sweet mother. She uses up most of her eyes at work. When she gets home, she is rather strained and so I read the books to her. Sometimes, I even read to her book written in English. I do this by translating the books as I read them. It is useful for folks who want to practice translations, without trying to jot things down. Spanish is a complicated language. The main problem is the notation. I need to remember where all the little marks go on the vowels. It is a real pain, and folks are mean to you if you get it wrong.
