Vintner is a collection of poems about an unrequited love story in six chapters. The story begins with a brief introduction of the poet, the Vintner, followed by Conversations between the lover and beloved. Conversations become a monologue once the beloved rejects the lover. The lover tries to talk to the beloved by writing poetry, first by rhyming in a chapter named Nightingale, and then by free verses, in a subsequent chapter, Swan, to express his feeling but he fails. He asks the beloved to listen to his short messages, in Just Listen, written in form of very short poetry, often no more than 6 words. When he fails, he writes a combination of different types of dark and romantic poems in the last chapter, Confessions.
