A selection of poems from 2017 and 2018 covering a wide variety of themes.

Poems by Tony Bellows, mostly from 2015 and 2016 with a few prose meditations. The subjects vary widely from current affairs, events in the news, to ancient history, recent history, philosophy, religion, nature, cosmology and places and friends. The style of the poems is rhyming, but the kind of rhyme varies from sonnet to longer pieces.

A critical survey of the witch trials in the Channel Islands, and how they have been treated by historians from J.L. Pitts, G.R. Balleine and Cary-Curtis to the present day. There are also notes on the Jersey Laws pertaining to witchcraft, and a list of the witch trials in both Islands, as well as details of the social background at the start and end of the burning times. This edition has been expanded and includes an index. Includes extracts from witch trials in Guernsey, and a timeline of trials in Jersey and Guernsey, and an extract from the Mirror of Justice, a key text in customary law.

A compilation of my articles from La Baguette, the Parish magazine of St Brelade, in my capacity as Deputy Editor and Reporter, over the period June 2011 to April 2014. These comprise news stories, general features, historical articles, and interviews with older Parishioners.
