A fictional account of a young boy and his father, who embark on a camping trip to the Sierra Nevada Mountains for adventure and scientific experimentation. Danger strikes early when the father is shot, left for dead, in an attempted robbery. The son escapes with thieves in desperate pursuit. Wandering over 30 miles in four weeks, encountering danger at every turn. Solitude of strength, guidance and courage comes by way of miracle of prayer and discovery of scripture. From the boy's local hamlet, deep in the Sierra Nevada, an awareness, search, and rescue grow nationwide. The young boy is ultimately tested by the true meaning of endurance, faith, and courage while also learning to coexist with natures wild.
