EVIDENCE FOR THE NEW TESTAMENTTHIS BOOK is meant to span the distance in time from the authors of the New Testament to you, the reader of it. You are some 2,000 years removed in time from those whom God used to write the books of the New Testament. How can we rest "easy" with our New Testament books under such circumstances? That is the purpose of this book: to show that God has surely kept secure what God had men write so that "we might know the certainty of what we have been taught."ABOUT THE AUTHOR¿The author has taught in college classrooms since 1963 until the turn of the millennium, serving as both professor and Academic Dean. During the years from 1958 until 2014, he served four congregations some thirty-eight years as their preacher.
You are interested in studying the Bible-- good! God has something more valuable than gold for you in His Word. May we suggest for your benefit a bit about this study book? Perhaps it might help you under-stand how it "goes together" and aid your study of Acts, part of God's Word in man's language.Author is a retired preacher of thirty-eight years, and a professor and/or Academic Dean of thirty years.
This is an edited version of a 26 lesson book on Hebrews, published in 1979 by College Press, Joplin, Missouri, revised in 2017. It was in print for some time, and then discontinued. I decided to reprint it, for my own use and the church here in Grenola where I live, and for those family and friends around who might like a copy of it as it now is. Since it surely needed some editing, and space limitations were no longer a problem, the decision to print it on a copier in 8 1/2 x 11 size, and then bind it was the best of the choices. Now, I have decided to put this revised version back into print, reflecting many years of study and thought, and many rewrites over these years. Author is a retired preacher of thirty-eight years, and a professor and/or Academic Dean of thirty years.
