MISSING YOU is the debut collection of haiku, senryu, tanka and haibun by Willie R. Bongcaron, a proficient haiku poet from the Philippines who is published widely. These poems mostly, if not all, follow the free modern haiku/senryu form; and not following the traditional 5-7-5 format. The author strives to capture in short poetic bursts or haiku moments special events in his life; with the end view of inspiring in the reader the drive to weave a story or stories all the latter's own based on the author's prodding. Intended for all lovers of Japanese short poetry forms in the world, this labor of love offers glimpses of life's intricacies, mundane or otherwise.
