Er emigrierte jedoch zum Zeitpunkt des Anschluss von Österreich an Nazi Nazi-Deutschland in die USA und komponierte Filmmusik in Hollywood. Er wollte wieder als klassischer Komponist arbeiten, trotzdem er konnte sich nicht aufholen. In folege geriet Korngolds Musik in Vergessenheit. Aber wenn man seine Werke gut analysiert, kann mann bemerken, dass sie den Geist der Wiener Romantik übernehmen. "Suite op.23 für 2 Violinen, Cello und Klavier für die linke Hand" wurde für Pianist Paul Wittgenstein, der im Ersten Weltkrieg seinen rechten Arm amptierte, geschrieben. Deswegen ist es, obwohl das Kammermusik ist, für den Pianisten von grosser Bedeutung. Anhand dieses Werks werde ich mich über seinen kompositorischen Still, seine harmonische Sprache, und seine begabte Instulmentation äussern.
