Reaching TitanLand was like entering a Sci-Fi set fog coated the inside of the park, making it hard to see anything from the outside. Seeing the way it looked, you knew magic was containing the fog; otherwise, it would have covered the entire area by now. Katsu parked the SUV a safe distance from the theme park's gates. "I want everyone alert when entering this park. I want those who are staying out here to keep watch on the video feed. We have no clue what is waiting inside. Take no chances and pay attention to everything." Mayu said, having everyone double-check their audio and visual gear before moving near the gates. "Understood!" they answered. Once again, no one was willing to argue about what Mayu said. Entering the park caused anyone with a good sense of smell to gag, including Mayu causing some to look at her, confused about how she could smell anything. Not having the time to ask questions, they broke off into their paired teams. From the outside, the park was sci-fi. From the inside, it looked like a horror movie. All of the rides, attractions and shops were run down and decaying, slowly rotting away. Wood hung from some of the ride entrances. Overgrown plants wrapped and clung to poles and other tall standing structures. Rides that contained water now had a new ecosystem growing in them. The water was almost black in color and had a foul smell when you came too close.

Shattered Worlds contains some dark topics such as abuse, depression and suicide. All events are of fiction but come from a real place so one can relate to the characters. Mayu awoke expecting to be either dead or in severe pain. Her eyes slowly opened to a vast bright blue sky cast in shades of pink and orange, causing her wonder if it was sunset or sunrise. The sound of rustling leaves reached her ears along with a gentle breeze. Confused, she sat up to survey her surroundings, happy but surprised that she was not in pain. She expected to not be able to move, but instead, she was void of pain. Looking around, she noticed she was in a forest clearing. "I am pretty sure I was in Leo's shop. Why am I in the forest?" she muttered. Nothing was making sense to her. Did she just imagine walking to Leo's shop? Was she actually just in the woods somewhere? If so, then where did all of her pain and injuries go? Far too many questions needed to be answered, and there was no one around to answer them. "May, you are dying. That is why you are here," a gentle voice stated. Mayu looked around frantically, trying to find the voice that spoke to her. Just within the tree line, a woman identical to herself stood there. The only difference was that she looked perfect. She looked healthy and like her body had never seen a beating before. Was this like her ideal self before she passed on, and she was able to see what she looked like? Not wanting to think about that, she shook her head.
