The main character, Jasmine, finds peace and courage during difficult times by imagining she is somewhere riding her bike. Jasmine's bike becomes her escape from the reality that she is in the hospital or undergoing major medical procedures. With every procedure, Jasmine's bike is there to take her away to a happier place. Jasmine finds herself riding her bike on the beach, through bike trails, and even taking off into space.Jasmine's Journey introduces both children and adults to the difficulties that individuals with vascular anomalies face each day. The book also reminds us that no matter what we are going through, there is someone else facing a more difficult challenge. My book leaves off where Little Timmy at three, stayed with his grandpa and grandma Hatfield mostly on the weekends and loved trains. But he was bad so he got punished that when we have authority over us we need to mind them, and he couldn't say trains but Fains, so I named that book 'Fain Nanny Fain', now the cute little red headed boy Timmy is 5 and his grand parents give him an etch a sketch and one day his uncle Joe put a sheet over his head and was pretending to be a ghost even though it was a practical joke, to a 5 year old it made him cry and scared him so bad he put the etch a sketch over uncle Joes head. The lesson here is it is not a good idea to play jokes on someone who does not understand.

This book CONVEYORS FOR HANDLING BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS IN-PLANT provides an in-depth approach to the fundamentals for the design of conveyors used in agricultural processing industries. It is written for agricultural engineering graduates and undergraduates as well as others in tertiary institutions interested in material handling equipment design. It is an eminently useful book for practicing engineers, designers and research workers as well as technicians and technologists. The conveyors covered in the book include belt, bucket, chain, gravity roller, hydraulic and pneumatic, screw and shaking conveyors as well as fans and blowers. The book approached the design and selection of conveyors by calculating their throughput capacities, the forces acting on them and the power requirement of each conveyor, with the hope that whoever uses the book must have attained an appropriate level of Mathematics and Physics to come to terms with the many mathematical equations used in the book. The design approach took into consideration the properties of the materials to be conveyed as well as those of the conveyors to be selected and used as a rational basis for the design. The book classified conveyors, showed the various factors to be considered when selecting conveyors and gave the general theory of conveyors before going into the design properly. The maintenance procedures for the traction-type conveyors were given. At the end of each chapter, worked examples, review questions and sample problems were given to enable the reader come to grips with the subject matter.

Carnivorous animals are more humane than humans. They only kill in order to eat. Humans also kill animals to eat, but very often they kill for fun and pleasure, and for the trophy. They like to display in their living rooms the head of a deer that they have shot, or they sell for profit the horns of a rhinoceros for its supposed sexual advantages, or the skin of a tiger to be used as a floor mat. The defenseless beast has been shot out in the open, with the most up-to-date sophisticated weapon while the shooter is hiding safely behind a large rock, and imagining himself as a hero. He is proud of his cowardly attack in putting to death an innocent and unprotected animal, who is probably more moral than its assassin. Unfortunately, some people treat their fellow humans in the same way. Present-day human predators have enslaved their brethren, entrapped them in a caste system, stolen their land, invaded their countries, conquered and colonized their people, and killed them. The predator is constantly on the war path. In these pages we will discuss man's inhumanity to man.

This is a book about the identities of godship, the nature of reality, utility of belief, and the understanding of consciousness. This book is designed for those leaving or renegotiating their faith and redefining or reappraising their identities and by extension that of god's. And thus it functions as A critique of societies and the gods who created them. From neuroscience and biological anthropology to social injustice and the history of modern culture this book will attempt to help the reader deconstructing the socioeconomic, political, patriarchally religious identities they've adopted from their corresponding cultures. "We did not leave Christianity because we wanted to "sin", we left because we found the entire institution to be morally repugnant and we refused to be complicit in bringing about a heaven built of someone else's hell. It is not death we fear, but living under tyranny."This is not another argument for or against the existence of god but rather an examination of the phenomena often attributed to god and a discussion about each culture and ages claims about those gods identities. From biological anthropology and evolutionary psychology to sociology and the humanities. This book can best be described as A mixture of science and poetry surrounding one of the deepest cosmological question known to man. pondering the meaning of life.

This book is a collection of songs and poems that Jeff wrote in his life. Most were written between 2020 and 2023 but some go back to his college days in the early 1990s. Some songs will be very specific about certain events or girls in his life, which may cause some people to guess who it is about and other songs will be total exaggeration. Good luck trying to figure it out.

Surveys indicate that approximately 80 percent of the world's population believe in an afterlife. It is also the belief of most religions of the world that there is some form of afterlife. The belief in an afterlife is founded on faith. We do not have earthly proof that an afterlife exists. It is a Christian belief that the afterlife will be a life that extends throughout eternity. Because afterlife is an eternal existence, it would seem that a significant percentage of people would want to understand more of that existence and adhere to what is necessary to achieve the best place in life hereafter. Sadly, all humans are flawed humans, and the attractions of earthly matters is a distraction from greater emphasis on eternal life. Faith is both a mystery and very individualistic. It is impossible for one human to judge the faith of another human being. The depth and sincerity of our faith will be a judgment made solely by our Creator and will determine our place in life hereafter. During his time on earth our Lord made it clear that observance of his two greatest commandments was necessary to gain a place in His Kingdom. His first commandment was to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and the second was to love our neighbor as ourselves. This book examines additional ways to help us stay on The Path to Paradise.

The intent of my book is to assist writers of all ages and levels of expertise in improving their skills in discovering the attributes of successful paragraph construction with an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of writing award-winning essays. The most critical component of competitive success is the ability to translate an idea into a comprehensive written report. The MEALS (Main point, Evidence, Analysis, Logic, and synonym), an acronym, is a tool designed to act as a guide to promote ease and excellence in writing endeavors.During his graduate work, Dr. Elsayess developed a new tool with the acronym MEALS. The MEALS method could assist while creating written works to earn a degree. In addition, using this method could allow students to move ahead with a good competency level for writing. Dr. Elsayess utilized the MEALS tool for assessing his students and developing his book. Not only did Lovitts (2007) report a high rate of unacceptable dissertations would lead to university dropout, but also, Lovitts (2007) reported that the Council of Graduate Schools indicated that "a 50% student dropout rate, writing the dissertation reported as the major stumbling block."Reference:Lovitts, B. The 4,600-Year-Old Story of Snefru and His Five Pyramids. The first book that integrates all five of Snefru's pyramids into a single "Story" pulled from the archaeological record. Snefru ruled during a time of transition from the step pyramids with north-south oriented large enclosures of the previous rulers.....to the inclined sided pyramids with the east-west oriented more compact enclosures of the rulers which followed. And during this transition, pyramid size grew by almost 600% when each pyramid was in-turn the largest manmade structure on Earth. The transition and growth in pyramid size was not without major issues which the architects and builders had to solve. And all of this was necessary for the perfection that was Khufu's Great Pyramid.

This book is an exploration of five of the principles that serve as cornerstones of modern liberal republicanism. The modern republic that functions on the democratic process owes its origins to the philosophers and activists of the Age of Enlightenment and Reason. To them we owe a debt we can only repay through our individual dedication to the principles discussed in this book, and our commitment to teach these principles to our children, so that this American republic, of the people, by the people, and for the people shall thrive beyond the foreseeable future, and shall not perish from the face of the earth.
