This book is a must-read for those in all walks of life. It can be read by mature Saints, newly walking Saints, and those yet to be called Saints. It contains quick, easy-to-digest, thought-provoking points extracted from years of Bible study messages. This book can provide encouragement in your daily walk with God, or take you from faith to faith. Each nugget highlighted is a direct word from God through an anointed man of God. The Scripture reference is part of the message presented at that time. You may note other Scriptures relevant to your current circumstance or walk in life. It is a great tool to enhance your Bible studies. This is a first-time publication for Joyce, whose desire was to publish some of her notes before her milestone birthday (see Psalm 90:10). [And God gave her the desire of her heart - Psalm 37:4]. Her main desire though is that this writing will help kickstart someone seeking to know Jesus Christ for themselves; or to boost those who may have relaxed their biblical studying. She is prayerful and hopeful that all will continue in their Christian walk and follow God throughout their lifetime, so their path will leave a Christian legacy footprint for future generations.

In the lives of every creature on earth are echoes of events that occurred a long long time ago. Events of unimaginable scale and violent beauty that connect all living things, their every action and decision, their every heartbeat, to the greatest story ever told. This is a tale 13.8 billion years in the making that has seen billions of stars and billions of worlds live and die to create the only planet we know that is home to life. From the stardust that built us to the cosmic ingredients that sustain us and the starlight that powers it all, this is the story of a universe that birthed the Black child.Every cell in the Black child's body is linked to an ancient stream of energy connecting their life to the heart of a star and the imagination of God. This unbroken stream of Black history span vast reaches of time and space and stretches back to the very first notion of humanity. The Black man's sole focus, the thing driving his very existence, is hunger. We hunt no man. We hunt for energy. But not for ourselves. We are desperate to feed the hungry minds of the Black child. We want to feed them truth in the knowledge of themselves and where they fit in the history of time's holy universe. This primal impulse stems from a deep connection we have to our purpose that extends beyond the ghettoes, beyond this country, to Africa. This is Black history. This is Black power. Black power is more abundant than ever. It's just hiding in plain sight of a universal consciousness of the might and power of God. This book is mere meditation offering intellectual vitamins on critical race theory, the politics of racism and the hidden history behind the tug-o-war over the American story.

There are many shades of Conservatism in our society. This book relates the Conservative principles of the author, and is a good guide for anyone interested in the motivation of Conservatives.Approximately 36 percent of citizens in the United States currently identify as Conservatives. Much larger than those who identify as either Progressives or Independents. If you are interested in the governance of our nation, you should want to know the principles that underlie each of these philosophies. Conservatism is based on the Constitution. That document forged over a period of months, is a work of genius that could only have flowed into the founders' minds as a gift of God. Considering all that has changed in the years since the drafting of the Constitution, it is a miracle that the document with only twenty-five enduring amendments is still a viable and vibrant guide for our nation.Conservative beliefs in individual freedoms are strongly supported in a number of sections throughout the book.Other important areas in the book are the portions that support the economic principles that have made the United States strong and prosperous. Conservatives know that Capitalism and the Free Market are the basis for the country's success, domestically, and in the world market.Conservatives believe in limited government, and there are sections on the budget, national debt, deficits, re-distribution of wealth, and taxes.Conservative views on the important issues of the times are explained. These issues include: Foreign policy, national defense, freedom of religion, and information, the rights of states, voting rights, public safety, sanctity of borders, the environment, education and the media. The book concludes with commentary on the current political administration. The future of America depends upon our values. Conservatives hold to that which has been tried and succeeded.

During the 1960's and 1970's, an early news commentator on television, Eric Sevareid, made sense of national and global events. He approached each two and one-half minute segment, about a 400- word "Think Piece", as though it were the "Gettysburg Address." His attitude was that "Democracy is not a free ride," and that the viewer needed the truth to be an intelligent voter in order to sustain the Republic. In this book the author uses "Think Notes" to inform the reader how the nation's primary adversary, China, specifically the Communist Chinese Party, has been molding the American society in its likeness for over half a century. They have successfully aided the Democrats in creating an Entitlement society so citizens rely on them for subsistence. China needs the Bald Eagle Republic for global domination and intends to achieve a peaceful takeover. Each Think Note discusses key topics which the Chinese use to achieve their control. With rare insight, the author reveals how Climate, Energy, Big Tech, Unions, Farmland and Racism are used to help craft a totalitarian state. Each Think Note ends with a creative solution on how to overcome the problem. The book ends with a father (Sevareid) and his son discussing the nation's plight after visiting the Capitol. The discussion is focused on how America, currently at the tipping point to a communist state, can avoid such a fate. A Bald Eagle sails overhead, perhaps a hopeful sign for America's future.

Computers have now taken over our lives, with countries hacking one another all over the world. The older generation are unable to keep up with the new technology, and I consider myself an old dinosaur and have trouble operating a smartphone or logging onto the internet. In fact, when I arrived in Hawaii twenty years ago, I went into Comp USA and asked the young salesperson where the typewriters were, and he wouldn't stop laughing.Families are changing, with same-sex marriages, and while parents are both working, the children have no guidance, with drug use common and suicide rates high. Young people don't respect their elders, and crime and murders are taking place all over our country. Maybe if and when this pandemic is ever under control, this world will return to the basics, but I don't know.

Planetary Purpose is a series of small childrens books reflecting upon childhood growth and development. As an educator, I have witnessed many children with worry and fear; as, Markus the box turtle exhibits in this series. These playful characters are all personified by those I have come to teach and meet throughout decades of experiences. Elephant Blue, a bumble bee, the butterfly or a banana tree each have a story to tell. Each character has an emotional conflict and a resolution for continuing their individual growth. To understand our anxieties and feelings are true. To allow patience and forgiveness upon ourselves is evident. We have a planetary purpose as writers and creators to educate. Allowing families to feel we are all safe, trusted and are all exploring at our own pace and rates. Through these series, the books will grow as our children. We will continue to add stages of development throughout childhood into adolescence. The storytelling will grow with your children. As a writer, there will always be another story to tell, another mountain to climb or ocean to change within the tides. Enjoy, God bless and thank you for reading to children. Love, Parsippany Bea.

Hot. Wet. Wild. If this erotic thriller had a mood gauge, it'd read 'redline scorch' and the mercury just keeps soaring as this torrid summer mind-bender scrapes nerves raw and hormones ragged. It's peak vacation season on the beautiful, fifteen-mile stretch of the warm Colorado River, better known as Parker Strip, where short-tempered sheriff JIMMY WITCHITAW suddenly wakes up with a mysteriously brutal homicide on his hands. Unfortunately his only leads are a bloody, four-way trail of morbid retribution splayed out by......vengeful crime boss NICK SARVINO......loose-cannon FBI agent RICHARD CANAVERAL......the beautiful, lust-filled mob lawyer CLARITY CARLYSLE......and a viscous pack of heavily-armed tribal 'ghostriders'known as THE HELLHAWK FREEDOM FIGHTERS......all of whom drive this normally peaceful resort town into a twisted labyrinth of high-voltage vengeance, power-driven greed and brain-scorching seduction. Inspired by true events, Parker Strip is an explosive, thought-provoking confrontation of ultimate human deception on the level of "Body Heat", "L.A. Confidential" and "Two Days In The Valley". KIRKUS REVIEWS"Osterhage excels at making the various storylines fall into step...""An endlessly diverting crime story featuring a wide array of characters and subplots.""...thoroughly detailed..." "...wonderful interplay...""...shocking turns.""...continually teases an inevitable confrontation before delivering a blistering coda."

In the future, an unexplained plague eradicates nearly all the Earth's population and leaves the living to wonder why. One of those individuals, Nick Cambridge, is quickly and uncontrollably swept up in a journey that not only leads to its cause but also forces him to find the solution-eventually unlocking the mystery of all creation and his own existence. Through Nick's journey, he meets similar "outcasts" that, too, find themselves a part of the enigmatic experience that calls upon them all to be heroes and save what is left of life as they know it. The fantasy-adventure novel The Blood of Heroes is a quality fit for anyone who enjoys getting lost in a book and identifying with its characters. The futuristic setting allows for new planets and races for a fantastical-but believable-plot. Despite the unnatural events that unfold, the reader is allowed to grow with the maturing, rational Nick as he toils with the thought of a predetermined destiny and questions the unexplained and evil he encounters. The Blood of Heroes not only encompasses fate, love, and friendship, but the tale also includes a riddle embedded in the storyline-which does not have a typical ending.

Science and religion are two different worldviews that involve different methods of attaining truth, one based on evidence using a scientific method to examine the natural world and the other based on belief in certain religious precepts often involving a supernatural dimension based on a holy book in some cases, and on the authority of religious leaders. This book examines the nature of religion and the role it plays in society along with unresolved problems that have existed for some time. The nature of science is then discussed along with the scientific method and problems with science that have not been resolved. The origins of science and religion are then examined and the relationship of these two worldviews and the relationship of science to the supernatural. Finally, the future of religion is examined along with its ongoing relationship to science. The real battle between science and religion involves the question of who gets to decide the truth about the world we live in and our status as human beings in this world. The answer to that question is not obvious but has enormous implications for human life on a planet that is under stress and may not be able to support human life for much longer as our actions have consequences that are now becoming all too apparent.
