The summertime book is written as a first person account about the author's oldest daughter. Growing up on a small farm is hard work (for the parents and the children). There were always chores but there was also a lot of unscripted fun. Using the voice of her daughter the author describes what the children loved about growing up on the farm and the freedom they enjoyed. There were no electronics at that time and the children had to make their own fun.The wonderful Illustrators in this children's book were all hired as freelance artists and illustrators from FIVERR. The author made a point of offering illustrations to artists from all around the world for this book, each had a different artistic flair. The last pages of the book include recipes from the text.

According to a 2018 study by UCLA and Dartsmouth researchers, friends are "cognitively homophilous," meaning they share similar neural brain patterns. In layman's terms, the brains of friends respond in remarkably parallel ways, literally meaning friends are on the same wavelength.Aristotle advanced this basic notion over 2,300 years ago, writing, "Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies." Aristotle was most likely philosophizing about the relationship referred to today as "soulmate." On the amity scale, soulmates are at the pinnacle. Because they can sometimes read each other's mind and think the same thought at the same time, this may be a spiritual bond.Whatever wavelength we have is a gift from God, as He has all the bandwidth. His love for all of mankind, or agape (selfless) love, is a supreme passion that we can, at best, only try to imagine. This is a book about the best kind of human love... be it eros (romantic)... storge (familial)... or philia (brotherly)... the kind of love that comes from being on the same wavelength as another soul.Wavelengths is divided into three sections. The first part, Exploration, consists of four essays, all dealing with love: love for the Venezuela that was, for a high-school military academy, for God and for a very special shady lady. The subsequent section, Excursion, is made up of bursts of love for trains, friends, a child, a woman and above all, God. Excursion also features vignettes on Las Vegas, boating, briefcases, Butler, Beatles and Joan Baez. The final section, Immersion, is comprised of five articles about a brilliant singer-songwriter, a unique human being and the author's friend, Mickey Newbury.Join the author on this journey through his unique experiences, and you just might tune in to a few new wavelengths.

This book was written on behalf of Robert Charles Simpson who was falsely accused of crimes that he never did commit. All charges and court cases brought against him were "politically motivated" by Liars, Cheats, and Thieves. This book sets out to prove that America is Dead and the Corporate Government has insidiously taken over by making ALL Americans Corporate entities.

The Book of Psalms in the Bible attracts a great deal of devotional attention from many people, including this author. This attention turned in the Spring of 1993 toward a project of translating the Psalter from the original Hebrew. This was as a spiritual as well as scholarly task for me. The end product, with a few other Hebrew poems added to the collection, came complete in the Spring of 1994. In the late summer of 2022, I took to revisiting my work, revising and correcting it as I found it necessary, and brought to this format in the late Autumn of the same year. I had sought to provide a translation in the immediacy of the present tense, as free as I could manage of the generic masculine, and as lively as I could manage to formulate. I wanted to convey the energy of spirit and of devotion that I felt in the text as I had engaged it. As I brought my revisitation to a conclusion, I felt I had achieved what I had hoped and wished to share it all with what readers I may accumulate, hopefully you.

In this novel an American non-profit company initiates a national movement to heal the youth's addiction to mobile social media, like smart phones. Voice Synthesis Inc. (VSI) based in Alexandria, Virginia, was founded by Matt and Heather Flynn, billionaires from their Turbopod (T-Pod) vehicles sold around the world. The couple does research to determine that the addiction starts at age ten and is a primary culprit in the dramatic reduction of the Work Ethic in America. The book provides alarming statistics as VSI's employees focus on the problem at home, in the schools, in retail businesses, in the government, the military and board rooms. It becomes clear to the reader that the social media devices greatly contribute to dumbing of citizens, ripe for control by a Socialist government. The reader follows VSI as it enlists a well-known company to apply artificial intelligence to voice synthesis systems to create a useful Flip Phone for the youth. "FLIPA" can access communications but not the Internet and streaming video.Nationally-known cyber gurus, who formed a company called Padlockers ,create a computer E-Worm which debilitates the production of popular smart phones in China. At the same time the government provides programs attractive for companies to bring back the production of the devices to America. The story ends with a realistic hope for the future as the simple FLIPA wins over legions of youth, one Flip Phone at a time.

Sermons for Your Soul is a collection of sermons written to encourage, and strengthen the faith of the believer. It has the dual purpose of also encouraging and drawing to Christ those individuals who have not accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. The personal stories of faith intertwined throughout the book, are mostly based on the experiences of the author. Although Sermons for Your Soul is a book of sermons it can also be used as a devotional tool. There are many scriptures embedded in the sermons for study and contemplation. I pray that the reader will be inspired through this book to trust God and to know that because He is omnipresent, they are never alone in what they go through. I also pray that their faith will increase as their worries decrease through the reading of these sermons.

This book is the story of a well-traveled and well-informed American expatriate woman, Sybilla Green Dorros. It's recounted in chapters - one for each place she lived - starting in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and ending in San Diego, California. While the bookend chapters are set in the United States, most of the locations are global. Four of them involved assignments with her family of origin (her parents and the earlier ones with her two sisters): Paris, Léopoldville, Accra, and Casablanca. Two were on her own: Rome and her first stint in Geneva. The last two, and the longest sojourns spanning nearly a quarter century, were in Manila and back in Geneva with her family by marriage (her husband and three children). Each relocation - to disparate countries at different stages of her life - presented new sets of challenges. This book reveals how she tackled these challenges and how she felt - and continues to feel - at home almost anywhere but with nowhere to truly call home.

Parables and principles if you were able to read critical criticism without feeling guilty or judged then will you find it as a source of entertainment or fun? Will it make you revalue life itself? Never want to put a sentence on anybody's way of life I never want to preach I just want to reach the ones of each, and through the observations I made writing this piece of literary work I feel that somewhat I have achieved that because I made it interesting, I made it personal, but I feel like most of us reach this phase of our lives but some of us never decide to stop and actually piece them down, and then go out of our way to put it together, question it and even question others about it and then conclude it what could have a million different outlooks as well as a million different answers. Some more accurate than others, but it has never been about who's got the correct or wrong one is just a matter of on how connected we truly are and the assertion so valid that it just matches on how we click grow and develop, make mistakes, but think it as this: when I picked up the book I chose I read it then did I really keep at least one quote of it treasure in my memory and soul, will it become part of our personality, resonating with our memory everlasting? This is the lasting gift I give to you all the quotes I always treasured that pushed me and inspired me and is a manifesto on which I take much pride of and summarizes the wholesomeness of oneself.
