Joy Nugent left a comfortable life as the wife of a successful orthodontist to follow a calling and vocation. For more than three decades she was a student at the bedside of people who were dying. It is her belief that in order to live a fuller and more meaningful life we need to become more open in our conversations about death and dying. This belief has the potential to lead a person to die with confidence and faith in a cosmic purpose rather than fear of the unknown. As Good as Goodbyes Get is a bridge from a traditional medical approach to an approach that considers the eternal soul of the person.Andrew Harvey, editor of The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by SogyalRinpoche, internationally acclaimed author, and mystical scholar and teacher. This humble book that you hold in your hand started out as a diary, written on scraps of paper, and in notebooks that were cobbled together and hidden from view by a lonely, displaced little girl. Katarina B. Viktor filled the pages of her secret book with her thoughts, ideas and musings. She would even wake in the middle of the night with inspired thoughts that she wrote down on any bit of paper she could find, including "sticky notes". When boredom struck on mundane activities like riding the bus, Katarina's imagination would soar and she kept adding to her writings. Recording her tumultuous feelings and observations of life's simple joys and beauties provided Viktor with an escape into the world of imagination. As Katarina gradually developed what became an unshakeable faith in God, the spiritual aspect of her poems deepened. Katarina's diary became to her more than an inanimate object. It was a friend she could confide in. Yet the biggest allies in Katarina's life became God, The Lord Jesus Christ, and the beautiful man she met and built a life with, at the point she was most broken. Reading this book is not only a journey into Viktor's own life. It is an astute observation of the lives of others, of studies on nature and a tribute to Katarina's strong faith. No matter what your beliefs, there is a deep humanity and appreciation of life to be found in these poems.

The books on Fraser Island all draw to a great extent on the reminiscences and records of people who have long lived TWO DECADES BEFORE Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) set foot on Fraser Island in 1971. The Maryborough Chronicle 20, August 1952: WARNED: GOD FORBID THAT ANY ATTEMPT SHOULD BE MADE TO TURN [Fraser Island] INTO A TOURISTS PARADISE WHICH WOULD RUIN ITS CALM SERENITY, ITS NATURAL BEAUTY AND ITS FISHING. visitors had an occasional sight of wild horses and although they saw no dingoes, pad marks around the camp each morning indicated they had been inspected at night by dingoes Perhaps, because dingoes look like our pet dogs, it can be easily overlooked that they are carnivores. It was it seems overlooked by the manager that failed to follow their own published warning Dingoes like other dogs are capable of killing people (dFIDMS 1999) TWO YEARS BEFORE THE ATTACK IN 2001. Instead, the manager insisted in their approved Management Plans on prioritizing uncontrolled numbers of tourists (Overlander August 1985) as a revenue raiser. Failing to adhere to their Duty Of Care Responsibility. It seems they set a financial objective over the Number- 1 far more obvious Strategy/Priority of Public Safety entering and using the most complex State Run National Park in Australia. In case we forget how serious this is; please remember dingoes are starving and can savagely attack, (like at Waddy Point) according to Dr. Paul Anderson Government Medical Officer said Clinton Gage was disemboweled his face, neck, lower abdomen and legs mauled (Fraser Coast Chronicle May 2, 2001.) The author is gravely concerned! A SOLUTION IS DISCUSSED IN THE BOOK! FRASERS FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS!
I called myself Abuelita (Nanny) because my children rescued these pets from different unsuitable environments. The book is about the event/story of each pet. Also, it is meant to encourage people and children to give a little one a chance to have a home and to be loved. Children can learn many lessons with animals: being caring, loving unconditionally, being a faithful companion, giving true friendship, experiencing new places, and greeting and sharing.
When a business executive who has investigated and implemented numerous initiatives to improve company performance isn''t getting the results he wants, he tries something different. He remembers reading an article about a leader-Andrew Miles-who credited his success to emotional intelligence. This intelligence, the article said, helped him engage his workforce and produce exceptional results. It doesn''t take the executive long to arrange a meeting with Miles, who tells him that business leaders must rely on physical, mental, and emotional effort-with emotional effort being how we manage our emotions to ensure we deliver high-quality results more frequently. To cultivate emotional intelligence, Miles says, a leader must focus on six distinct competencies: emotional self-awareness, emotional awareness of others, authenticity, emotional reasoning, emotional self-management, and inspiring performance.Miles explains that emotional intelligence underlies our self-awareness, empathy, leadership, and resilience, which are all skills fundamental to our success. Join a business executive as he seeks to understand his emotions, change how he relates to others, and improve the people around him by learning from The Emotionally Intelligent Leader.
"Princess Esmeralda" is a magical story of a young girl, with the help of an enchanted seahorse, who finds out who she truly is and discovers her world is full of colour and love. It is a story for adults and parents to share with their children in a space of love and caring, so they may feel Esmeralda's story as their own. It is to let all children know how important it is to believe in who they are, to accept themselves and others, and also to understand that if they take care of their world, then they in turn will have everything they need to nourish and care for them. It is a reminder for all of us to see the world again in awe, through a child's eyes, to see the colour, the magic and the joy. As guardians of this planet we are here to nurture all things with love, especially our children, to ensure our thoughts and actions cannot harm another living thing. Stories through all time have held an energy in the words that are passed down through generations. I want my stories to help both adults and children feel good about who they are and form loving caring beliefs about themselves and one another.

\Horse riders are often looking for ways to develop, improve, and consolidate work with their animals. From pleasure riders to competitive riders, equestrians are always looking for improvement in their skill set. In It Takes Two to Tango, author Tanja Mitton educates riders, trainers, and coaches on the fundamental principles of the riders position and mindset. It also explores the foundational training of horses, with the aim of developing long-lasting, positive outcomes for riders and horses. Mitton offers riders more understanding on how humans affect horses and how horses, in turn, affect humans. She discusses the Rider Training Scale, a guideline for correct riding, focusing on the riders position and its influence on the horse; Horse Training Scale, a training guideline on how to correctly educate a horse while keeping the riders position in mind; and Mindset Training Scale, a guideline for riders, coaches, and trainers to help them to understand and work through their personal issues. Based on her personal experiences as an equestrian success and mindset coach, Mitton offers a valuable self-development tool in It Takes Two to Tango. It empowers the rider to take control and ownership of the riding and assist in finding a solid training foundation from which to build. She communicates that happy and confident riders, trainers, and coaches are better able to positively affect the training of horses and other riders, leading to a more enjoyable ride and safer encounter.
Coco is a vivacious and enthusiastic romantic on a determined search for the one true love of her life. At about two times the age of a regular princess (or even more), she fearlessly pursues her fairy-tale ending by embracing the paradoxes and age-defying opportunities offered by the modern age. Bolstered by the notions that fifty is the new forty and divorced is the new single, she ventures into the medium of the internet, a space where all things old are excitingly renewed to search for the one. The fairyland of online dating proves to be populated by characters very much akin to those found in fairy tales of old. There are some trolls and other downright dastardly types and others of beastly appearance who turn out to be kindly. There are also some wily witches who try to trap and ensnare. Fortunately, the fairy godmothers (BFFs) mentored Coco through the Black Forest. So will she find the dashing Prince Charming and live happily ever after? Read on and see!
In 2012, Gabriela Garbacz's life changed forever. While participating in a meditation webcast, she felt a strong presence in the room. Garbacz began asking questions of the presence who identified herself as Akazamira, a star being. And so began her regular conversations with Star Beings, Ascended Masters, and Archangels recorded over a period of time.In the first collection of these enlightening conversations, Garbacz reveals the fascinating details of her talks with beings such as, Kwan Yin, Jesus, Merlin, Isis, and Lakshmi, who ultimately transmit light and information intended to be shared with all on Earth. Speaking from a broader perspective, they encourage us to apply soul wisdom to our everyday lives.
