""Living with chronic Endometriosis pain alongside depression and aniexty has been a daily struggle for me for as long as I can remember: through poetry I am able to express and make sense of all the pain and complexity inside by turning my emotions into words. Much like a fart I can't always be sure what's going to come out but as they say better out than in and sure enough I always feel better afterwards.""
This is a book about all the random events I've had in life. Whether small or large, important or a mere thought; this was a labor of love and life and thoughts spewed onto the page straight from my brain.
In a series of poems written in her college years, Sophia captures the whirlwind of emotions any young woman experiences, as well as those more personal and intimate. This collection is a summation of the experiences that stand out; from friendship and love to isolation and anger. Ultimately, Sophia wants these poems to feel like a lifetime, where after experiencing each one, you'd rather befriend every life's circumstance than let it control you.
""When you lose someone you love, you lose the part of your soul that goes with them, but you also keep a part of them inside of you. The best way to honour them is to love yourself the way that they loved you. The best way to remember them is to live, for then there is a part of them that will never truly die. This is book of poetry born form pain. A book of grief, loss, despair and loneliness, but also of love, laughter, joy and hope. This book is for those with loved ones in the stars. A book to bring comfort on the hardest nights, pages that tell you that you are not alone.""
Emotions and motions I've gone through in order to come into myself. Maybe you'll feel peace if you relate because you will know that you are never alone.
""21 from-the-heart poems that represent occasions when Beth N. Barr, a qualified Teacher, Coach and Stylist, powered through career changes in her life. Having suffered from paralysing performance anxiety her entire life, she has written some of these poems and strung these thoughts together, while alone, in interior rooms, with no intention of ever sharing them with others. But when BookLeafPublishing offered the opportunity to poets to have their works published, she felt it was a good time to give it a go, hoping that some of the sentiments contained in the poems could be of help to other shy job seekers, during these tough times.""
Bitter Chovy is a collection of free-verse poems that explore memories and moments in time in peculiar yet impermanent manners. Accounts from reality, fantasy, dreams, and nightmares are seemingly intertwined to create heightened emotions and open questions for readers-and for the poet herself.
This book of poetry is a brief looking into some of the musings of my mind. Poetry is not a form of writing that I have much experience with overall. A few of the included poems were written and published before over 20 years ago and the others were created in the first 21 days of October 2023.
""There are two things you will not leave this Earth without at least feeling or witnessing and they are pain and love. The greatest of these two is love. There are many types of love (8 to be exact) which makes it easy to have several experiences of love throughout the average person's life. The 8 types of love are: Self Love, Familial, Friendly, Romantic, Flirtatious/Fun, Manic/Obsessive, Mature/Committed, and Agape. Could You Be Love? Is a book of poetry and prayers specific to the experiences of all 8 different types of love. It's a young lady's journey through life as she encounters love in some of the most healing and toxic ways. It goes through some of her most heart wrenching stories of failed relationships to her discovery of true self love. Have you ever experienced a relationship where you gave your all only for that person to not even give you half of the effort you gave them? Have you ever survived the heartbreaking experience of losing a parent? Have you ever been so honest to someone only for you to find out later on in the relationship that they lied about everything? Have you ever witnessed how the genuine love from a friend, sibling, or child can be truly healing to the soul? Have you ever experienced a love where the person you are with gives back just as much (if not more) than you give to the relationship? Have you ever witnessed agape love from God that is truly unconditional and covers each and every wound that was ever created by past hurts? If you have said yes to any of these questions, then this is the book, the poems, and the prayers are all for you.""

Delve into this poetry collection's imaginative and expressive world, where everyday objects, animals, and feelings are brought to life through a creative mind. From household pets to relatable emotions, each poem creatively explores the world around us. With some funny twists and hard truths, the poems in this collection show the positives and the negatives of being able to imagine outside the box whilst showing the world through someone else's eyes for you to experience for yourself.
Through these poems, you get to peek inside where my curiosity about the world and my identity resides. They unravel my ceaseless questioning-an attempt to understand the world we live in and my place within it. Within these verses, I compassionately explore who I am, embracing emotions like anger, sadness, and happiness. They aren't merely a reflection of myself but also echo the fragments of people I've encountered, their wisdom, and the courage they've instilled in me to express myself authentically.
This book addresses different thoughts and ideas and meanders through them in the form of poetry.

Répondez s'il vous plaît is a collection of poems that document Smith's harrowing experiences during her late teenage years and early twenties, which include themes of rape, sexual assault, mental health, grief, loss and injustice. This book takes you into the eye of a survivor, and has been described by readers as "the closest thing you can get to experiencing and understanding the turmoil that victims go through".
Poetry is the perception of one's experiences from different angles, akin to photography, but with words. So, I approached this as a unique challenge for myself. I tried to look at topics from various angles, trying out different forms and metrics along the way. Some things came from my previously written "ideas" pad but did not have form, focus, or body; some were experiments along the way. Now, my slants, apologies for the sadness, are out in the world to create their very own angles of perception for better or for worse.
Within this collection of 21 poems lies an exploration of the profound in the seemingly mundane. Each verse embodies the essence of the ordinary and the extraordinary, delving into the everyday occurrences that often go unnoticed. It's a poetic journey through the tapestry of life, capturing the beauty in the randomness of existence-celebrating the everything and the nothing.
Everything written in this book is inspired by an emotion I have felt, an experience I have lived through, or I have felt through those around me. I titled this book "The World Behind Her Eyes" because oftentimes there is an endless sea of emotion and thought in my mind, and yet no one beside myself is aware of that. I hope that this touches you, and helps you to feel seen, in whatever emotions are expressed in these poems. I hope that you might see you are not the only one who has felt these things, whether good or bad, but most of all I hope that you might share this with others whose more complex thoughts you may or may not understand.
""Life poems from my experience of Spiritual Awakening leading to an unjust Sectioning and how life unravelled from that point on. Poignant poems some written at the time, some in retrospect and some put together in the moment to capture feeling of feeling lost, falling apart all from the heart. Words are the spells that create the magic in our lives. Take your time and take what you need from this collection of soul full, beauty filled poetry.""

In this holiday poetry collection, Beebe writes about the strange time of her life around Christmas. We all get random thoughts at different times. Sometimes it is a passing thought we do not remember a moment after it occurred. Sometimes it is a long-lost memory we never thought we had in the first place. Sometimes it is a well-known deep memory we are trying to bury, or it might even be one we want to keep remembering. Sometimes it is merely a random thought of a random person or event we cannot even place in our past. Whatever it is, those thoughts are a part of us. Sharing them isn't always easy. This collection of poems describes some of the hidden thoughts that occurred to me at random times. They might be important, and they might not. They might make sense to you, and they might be just random babblings. Whatever it is, I hope someone will recognize themselves in these and feel inspired to keep onto those random snippets of thoughts. They are not showing up without a reason.
"A Walk Through the Dark" is a collection of poetry named for and inspired by the experiences of her early life.
