Do you find yourself tired, angry, and frustrated? Have the trials and tragedies of life left you feeling overwhelmed and defeated? Have you lost your way, and have you felt like a stray in need of rescue? You're not alone. That was me. For years, I was a lost soul. For years, I was a stray looking for rescue. I was exactly where you are right now, searching far and wide for answers--for hope. I found my answers and my hope when I turned to Jesus. When I finally had enough and cried out to God, He spoke to me in an unexpected way. He showed me that His desire and willingness to rescue me was similar to the way that I was willing to rescue my service dog Roscoe. The best part is Jesus wants to rescue you too. He wants to bring peace and joy to your life. No matter what you've been through and no matter how far away you think you are from God, all it takes is one step back and He will reach out and rescue you. If you're tired and weary, Jesus says to come to Him and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

Songs and Letters is a compilation of poems, essays, and epistles. These were created throughout the author's adolescence and adulthood and cover a variety of sociological subjects, including death, love, and morality. In it, we observe the author's growth in knowing God and her knowledge of service to God. In a world where hate and animosity seem to be the norm for many devout people, this book offers a commentary on the nature of God. If the God you know teaches hate, not love, then it is not God you know. The book also reflects on the nature of personal relationships with God. Special emphasis on American values and hubris is included, as is an "Epistle to the Children."It is hoped that the reader will learn from this book--about themselves and about their world--and that the reader will attain a closer, deeper relationship with the God they recognize. God is bigger than any one religion.Peace.13

You may ask, Why would anyone want to read the Bible, let alone a consolidated version of the four gospels? How many people, when deciding to read about Christ Jesus's life and teachings, begin and finish after one Gospel, satisfied that they've read enough? Or when reading the four Gospels grow bewildered stumbling on the path of duplications, inconsistencies, and contradictions. To eliminate any reluctance in rereading the gospels led to the creation of one consolidated narrative of the four Gospels without many interrupting footnotes and in the language of the King James Version. To read one consolidated version is to focus on a clear path with a singular view of all the occurrences and details the writers of the four Gospels intended us to know. It is to simplify the journey and get the reader started on walking the path with Christ Jesus and his immediate witnesses, exploring what he desired us to learn about himself and his heavenly Father.Sometimes the four Gospels seem to conflict or disagree. For clarity, footnotes have been included to explain these differences. At the end is a glossary for those words, names, and terms used in the gospels, which may not be familiar to the first-time reader of the Gospels. An index serves as a table of contents and a cross-reference showing in which Gospel the stories and teachings are located. The index makes an excellent quick reference guide--locating the stories and teachings in each of the four Gospels quickly and easily.

Everything written came from the mind of Christ. God is speaking directly to his people. This is not written in commentary or written by man's education or his intellect. God is speaking to his people through his mind, spirit, and Word, making direct statements. God himself said we have the mind of Christ; therefore, God wants you to hear and understand his perspectives. Oftentimes, men write about their understanding of the Word or a scripture or their conclusion on different matters concerning the Word (Psalm 19:14). God is speaking from the standpoint of the first birth which was by flesh, but the second birth by the will of God by the spirit. Even how marriage is viewed through the eyes and mind of God between male and female. How the church should conduct itself by the Word and spirit of God. Those who seek God, he shows them what's in his mind and his ways, to follow him, and in so doing, exposes the enemy. This book was written with God overseeing every word, punctuation mark, every letter from cover to cover. Written for his people and all who will give their life to Christ. God didn't just want to visit his people but to inhabit with his people, so they will grow and mature in him to experience personally his power and authority and know how to use it. God speaks through his mind to you, because now you see and hear more from man and less of God. Man will someday bow their knees before God of his will and his authority. This book was written by the mind of God to show and teach all men the uncompromising power of the Word of Christ through the Holy Spirit, so men will know the truths of God as men apply them in their life through salvation.

My purpose for writing this book is to correct and encourage proper understanding and application of the scriptures rather than traditional stories and beliefs that have misled many for centuries. I believe it has been placed upon my heart to finally write down and share some of the things God has given me over the years, to cause people to really think about where they will spend eternity and with whom.

As a young man, I read many books and took many courses of study in pursuit of God's purposes for mankind and wished there was a book that covered most of the major themes in the Bible. As you may have correctly suspected, I never found such a book and decided to work to provide that vital resource for not only aspiring young people but people of every age, believers and unbelievers, in particular, parents, caregivers, teachers, ministers of the gospel, and government officials. This book outlines in clear terms the purposes for which the Living God Jehovah our Creator made man, including the motivation He experienced. Sections that will gain special attention are the constitution of man and the nature of angels, topics theologians have debated for generations. Apostle Peter, in his salutation to all saints, said, "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. According as His divine power has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to Glory and virtue" (2 Peter 1:2-3). The teaching of this book will assuredly provide prayerful readers a guide to receiving the manifold provisions of God for the needs they experience in life and ministry.

I've learned through the school of hard knocks that life's journey is planned by God and not our own.My nuclear family, friends, and Christian exposure influenced the person that I became. I've learned that God's plans are not thwarted by our self-determination and direction. Eventually, I saw life through God's lens and gained a spiritual perspective over time. Through my life's journey of free will, undesirable outcomes emerged. In retrospect, I suffered the consequences because I had a rebellious nature toward my God.I married men who were incompatible and unequally yoked, which was my cross to bear. I point to incidents and occurrences that lead to failed marriages. But the good news is that I finally embraced the truth and turned to my first love, Jesus Christ. I spiritually connected to the good book written by men of faith. I felt compelled to share the story of God's plan of redemption through His Son, Jesus Christ. I learned that His yoke is easy and that His burden is light. Now I implore you to never give up if you mess up, fall off, or slide off the train. It's your choice, and your life is in the balance of a positive or negative outcome. If you choose disbelief, your destination is with the adversary. If you choose Christ, you're on your way toward the Kingdom's Mansion on the Happy Day Express.

The author proposes a "workable" pathway for the US to achieve net zero CO2 emissions from the transportation and electrical power sectors of the US by 2050. The intent is to describe in straightforward terms what it will take to achieve such a goal. Providing basic background information on the measures necessary to transition from a fossil-fuel-based power source to one based on renewables will provide the reader insight to the enormity of this goal. The author attempts to outline the major hurdles facing the US in reducing CO2 emissions. Hurdles to achieving this goal are clearly presented to allow readers to put into perspective what this transition entails and the significant obstacles that must be overcome to achieve net zero. The book highlights the difficulty of this task and clearly states that achieving net zero for the US by 2050 is highly unlikely. The author then applies the same logic on a limited scale to describe the difficulty of achieving net-zero CO2 emissions on a worldwide basis. Applying the same logic used for the US analysis with regard to the retirement of coal-fired and natural gas-fired electrical generation capacity demonstrates the difficult path the world faces regarding climate change due to carbon dioxide emissions. The book concludes with a bleak scenario of what the world faces with regard to climate change.

What Would Moses Say? is a carefully researched and crafted book. The author began with the premise that Moses's Law, in fact, much of Old Testament history, is nonbinding for today's believer. Her journey and findings brought a surprising revelation that all of God's word is useful for our spiritual growth. As she explored each of the Ten Commandments, the truth became even more clear. The moral principles that God had established as a standard for the Israelites still hold true for today. In fact, as society continues to break down with prevailing lawlessness, there has never been a better time than now to address our application of God's commandments.Could it be that a careless disregard for the obsolete law is the reason for the lukewarm state of many believers in the twenty-first century? Decreased church attendance, high divorce rates, disobedient children, loss of young adults to secular pursuits, and an absence of God's name in day-to-day conversation all characterize the problem. Could it be that good people who call themselves Christian could benefit from a deeper look at the Ten Commandments? According to the findings, the answer is yes!The evidence points to the need for a new or renewed relationship with God's appointed head of the church, Jesus Christ. There cannot be any substantial law keeping in the absence of the lawgiver. We must first love God (the first commandment) before we can love others. The worldliness of today's church has impacted Christianity as we know it. There is no other answer than to be unique and separate. This book was written for readers in all stages of their spiritual journey. It promises to be interesting, challenging, enlightening, and instructional. Use it for personal reading or a group study.

This is the diary of the author's tumultuous journey from childhood to adulthood. The road she has traveled has been full of many unexpected twists, turns, detours, and cliff-hangers. Her trip itinerary has included poverty, sickness, molestation, rejection, domestic violence, betrayals, divorces, single-parenthood, being a first lady, and many other treks.I believe that you will be captivated by the author's many excursions, some self-directed and some led by others, some good and some not so good. She experienced the contrast of being on a ship like Jonah running from God and being on a ship like Paul in the will of God. But they all drove her into the arms of the blessed Savior, who took what was meant to cause her life to be permanently shipwrecked and used it to make her more resilient for the voyage ahead.I trust that you will be intrigued by how the author reveals the cycles in her life as she explains how the last became first, and the first became last, relating it to the scripture in Matthew 20:16. We all can relate with the alternating cycles in our lives of being last and then first, and first and then last. These seasons affect the just and the unjust, but they are weathered so much better with the Lord on our side. He works it all together for the good for those that love Him and are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).The writer believes that the Lord led her to be transparent and to share her life experiences as a means to inspire, motivate, encourage, and challenge her readers to keep running the race that has been set before them, regardless of the obstacles they may encounter. Remember, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord will deliver us out of them all (Psalm 34:19).

The purpose of this book is to help couples to build solid marriages devoid of financial conflicts and marital dissolutions due to money arguments in marriage; by understanding financial planning in marriage, God's design for marriage, commitment in marriage, and the need to put one's spouse above the love for money. This book will help rescue couples teetering on the edges of separation, and divorce because of money arguments in marriage. Scholarly research has found that thousands of couples are separated or divorced yearly because of money arguments in marriage. The enemy of the family knows that once couples are separated, those under their care, such as their children, will be vulnerable to all kinds of social vices such as drug use, dropping out of school, ending up in jail, prostitution, and having children as single parents. Children raised in broken homes do not perform well in a society like those born and raised in two-parent homes.

Many sincere Christians are in bondage to all sorts of addictions and bad habits that have become strongholds in their lives. These strongholds can be anything from pornography, drugs, food, sex, gambling, etc. that ruin their marriages, employment, and most importantly, their Christian witness. I've experienced the shame and guilt that comes with these sins, and by God's grace, the Lord revealed how to use His Word to pull down these strongholds. I have written this book to help those who are frustrated with being on the roller coaster of guilt, repentance, and failure again. It is an easy read and simple to understand, pointing out God's plan in His Word for you to be free as Jesus stated in John 8:36, "Whom the Son set free is free indeed."

One theme that echoes throughout this book is that God had been preparing me for a personal encounter with Him. I recounted how things were during my childhood years. Through a series of circumstances, He set the stage and laid the foundation so He can in the future shape me into whatever form He wishes. In almost all of these testimonies, it's clear that He (El Shaddai) wanted me to understand what I can be through Him. He guided me through endless crucibles, all for the purpose of allowing me to see His greatness and His ability to transform my life. This book helps to unveil the secret of the inner man, that carnal nature that is in constant battle with the desire in you to do good. It explains that it is absolutely possible to win the battle between good and evil. The last chapter was very challenging to share because it exposes the weaknesses that we sometimes choose to deny. This book brings you face to face with your stubbornness and with one of the most destructive traits lurking within--it's called pride. You will be surprised to discover how deeply it has embedded itself in your consciousness, but you can get victory when you take action to deliberately surrender to God. You will discover perhaps for the first time that empowerment comes with surrendering. I wish you a life-changing experience as you share in this blessing.

When you read chapter 18 in the book of Revelation, you can easily become curious as to what country this place called Babylon the Great could be referring to. Theologians of the past said it was the literal Babylon located in Iraq; however, upon a more current review of the clues woven within the verses, we find that the evidence points to America. In this amazing comparison of up-to-date facts between a city in Iraq and the United States, ample proof has been uncovered and presented that was not previously seen. The author, a theologian himself, has hammered out another interesting read.

Death and destruction are the result of man's fallen nature. This world's history is filled with wars and rumors of war. Untold millions have lost their lives in these endless battles, and sadly, more battles are on the way. This book identifies the major wars approaching the people of this world, according to the Holy Word of God. Terrifying times are drawing near for those who are not saved and, as a result, will remain on this earth during these catastrophes. Praise God; this book also reveals God's simple plan of salvation and clearly describes what a person must do to be saved and escape the horror to come. God desires that all come to the Lord Jesus Christ, receiving forgiveness of their sins and an eternal home in heaven. He has done all He can by sending His precious Son into this world to die on a cruel Roman cross. We thank God that not only did Jesus die for us but that He was also buried and, on the third day, gloriously raised from the dead, giving eternal life to all those who receive Him as their personal Lord and Saviour. God never turns anyone away who comes to Him with a repentant heart. His grace is sufficient to take away our sins and gather us into His loving arms. If you are not yet saved, our prayer is for you to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour today, finding the peace and joy that only He can give.
