What is Living Water? How is it related to us in terms of economics, physics and theology? During the first Industrial Revolution, James Watt designed steam engine. Steam is known as living water. Adam Smith (1776) advocated a spirit of laissez-faire for economic system based on the self-regulating principle of flyball governor for a steam engine. Currency and water are indispensable media in life and exhibit characteristics of fluids. Lately some physicists endeavored economics in terms of properties of water, e.g.: temperature as an integrating factor or GDP, entropy as a state variable or production function, work, quality, incubation, liquidation, etc. Living Water assumes the holistic perspective of "scientia ancilla theologiae" and incorporates biblical economic & financial principles. It postulates the law of supply and demand of market as an equation of state of gas - a plausible explanation for 'invisible hand'. It discusses the equation of change using universal growth curve as an example.Spiritually, living water is a symbol for salvation and a true knowledge of God.The gas metaphor is spiritually intriguing since God breathed air into Adam'snostrils as the breath of life (Genesis 2:7). Also, Jesus breathed air on disciplesand gave the Holy Spirit in John 20:22.Regardless of the development in neo-classical economics and econo-physics, the influences of Adam Smith and Karl Marx are undeniable in recent history. Current political tensions were rooted in the grid-lock debate of capitalism and communism. It is time to re-explore Protestant Ethics to guide government configuration and policies, e.g. 'Do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God' (Micah 6:8b). Christian ethics can only be upheld by honoring the tripartite government outlined in Isaiah 33:22: "For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us."

Randy and Ralphie are a pair of raccoon kits headed for trouble. Their mother left them at home alone with explicit instructions to play quietly by the base of their giant pine tree and not to go wandering off into the forest. Because they were alone, they were very vulnerable to getting lost or hurt. She had to gather more food every day for a pair of coon cubs that were growing like weeds. If they went foraging for food with her, she constantly had to corral their eager feet and curious natures. After leaving some toothsome tidbits, she silently slipped away into the grey morning mist. Once part of the special goodies had curbed their hunger, Randy and Ralphie started playing King of the Mountain on fallen timbers around their tree. They decided it was too hot to play in the bright morning sun, and they were still hungry. Mommy must have lost the way to come back home with more food. They had to go find her because it was obvious that she must need their help. Maybe there were too many goodies to carry home alone. Thus, the mighty adventure began. Heading out from the safe area around their nest, the two beady-eyed masked bandits start the very first solo journey into the flowering meadow in search of their mom. In the distance, they hear a gurgling stream that must be explored. Footprints in the sand lead them in the direction of the vast meadow where they smell some enticing ripe berries. While picking juicy blackberries, huckleberries, and wild strawberries, they meet a very friendly bear cub who joins them in their fruit harvesting. Leaving their new friend, the two little rascals continue searching until the shadows grow long.Thwarted in their mission to find Mommy, Randy and Ralphie return to the tree and strike up a conversation with the Great Horned Owl who lives in a nest two trees away from their home. Mother returns with food and wisdom for two wayward raccoons.

Most people who have not experienced finding Christ, think I chose to be a Christian. But Christ chose me. In fact, He was with me since my childhood. In the place I was born did not know Father as God yet, I used to cry out all the time. Mostly, when I needed Him. Even though, my family was Muslim, and believed I was Muslim. It did not help me to worship Allah and his prophet Mohamed either. Even as person who love to be Muslim. Everyone who knew me will know that, I used to live in fear, and did not love to practice in Islam. I thought if I do good things with my family. God of Islam who is called Allah will forgive me. I did not know, Jesus was the one who answering my prayers, and Jesus was the one who planning to help me. Because he knew who I was, and where I was. Now, I hope I can make a difference in the world the since I have found Christ. He is my Father, and my God and connected with my heart and my soul. Without Him there is no life for me. On other hand the only religion I had known was Islam. The people I loved were my family and my friends. If is possibility I will chose them. Because they were my everything until, I be found Jesus. Jesus became my first. I was fatherless and lost. Then Christ became the key to my life and the answer I had longed for. This book is to share how things happen. People will choose what they know, and we are selfish, but Christ is not selfish. In the mist of nowhere He will find us and Christ interduces himself to us and ourselves.

Gracie came out of the womb giggling. Well, she might as well have. She was born happy, optimistic, and always giggling so much so that her nickname was Giggles. Her joy was infectious, and she made it her mission to put a smile on everyone's face. As a kid, whenever she saw someone sad, she would dance, sing, do somersaults, jump up and down, and be silly, anything it took to get a smile. Gracie and her older brother thought they had the most cool parents that they loved so much. Her happy place was being with her family and pretending they lived in one of her favorite fairy tales. As a happy innocent child that focused on making people smile, naturally she would not notice adult issues that were going on behind the scenes. Suddenly, while she wasn't looking, her whole world unraveled and fell apart overnight. "Abandoned but Not Alone" tells the true story about a little girl that lost her pure innocent joy when she was suddenly abandoned by someone she loved and idolized crumbling her perfect family dream. Discover how the error of shouldering the blame for this incident as a child shaped her life and all of her relationships. Gracie would spend the next fifty years fighting the uphill battles of trusting others with her heart, loving others, letting them love her, and trying to control relationships in her life. Enjoy traveling through her story and seeing how she found hope, healing, and happiness along the way and how she finally learned the meaning of true love. Her prayer is that her story will encourage and inspire you to find healing, hope, and happiness in your experience with abandonment.

A Mother's HeartA Mother's Heart will allow you to take a ride with the mountain valley experience between a mother and daughter and granddaughter and how we stood the test of time, proving what it says in Galatians 6:9, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not."The image of heartbreak and describing the devastating emotional pain of a broken relationship transcends culture and is expressed in the same way in almost every language. You will experience the true meaning of the strength of a mother: the one who isM--more thanO--the overcomerT--she is trustworthyH--she is a healerE--she endures all thingsR--she walks in righteousnessH--she is always helpfulE--she is effectiveA--she is availableR--she is resilientT--she is trainable and thankful in all thingsYou will see even though we can't see everything happening right now, it's the consistency of mama's prayer: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me" (Psalm 23:4).

When I first became a Christian, and for the first twenty-two years of my life with Christ, I didn't know that I didn't know that I wasn't a mature Christian. I was not taught how to and what it took to grow spiritually and become a spiritually mature Christian. But even so, I still thought that I was a mature Christian! After all, in all those years, I had come to know and learned a lot of things about the Bible, God's Word, and about God; I even served Him! What I didn't know was that my growth was merely intellectual, but not spiritual. It wasn't until after twenty-two years that God, in His love through His Word and with the help of His Holy Spirit, taught me what it really took for me to grow spiritually. He taught me the things I needed to go through in order to understand what it takes to become a spiritual mature Christian as well as a true servant of God.Now He is using me to share His studies in this book so He can help many Christians understand the importance and what it takes to start growing spiritually, not just intellectually, from the moment they believe and receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord as well as the dangers of becoming stagnant or allowing the enemy to take them to a state of conformism in their own spiritual growth.According to Ephesians 4:13-15, God wants us to get all the way to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ that we all may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ.So I pray that as you read and study this book, with the help of the Holy Spirit and God's Word, God will show you and help you understand what it takes for you to grow spiritually until you become spiritually mature and until you get to the fullness of Christ so you can become everything that He wants you to become.

The author, P. J. Day and his two brothers and two sisters grew up in the magical valley of Tesuque (Tazookey), located about five miles north of Santa Fe, New Mexico. One of the family pets was a little gray burro they had named Pedro, who was less than a year old when he came to live with them. While reminiscing about that marvelous childhood Christmas Day 2001, P.J. wrote a short poem for his daughter, placing Pedro smack dab in the middle of the very first Christmas. A Burro's Tale evolved from that poem and Call of the Burro is the continuation of that story. The setting for Call of the Burro is also the Tesuque Valley, and in addition to most of the original burros from the first story, there are now three new little baby burro's and one additional new adult burro. Call of the Burro takes place 12 years after the original story. The three mischievous little youngsters in Call of the Burro narrowly escape a life and death situation with the help of an unexpected hero. As in A Burro's Tale, Call of the Burro is filed with many life lessons for teenagers and young adults and throughout the story, when tested, it's about doing the right thing. Woven within the story is yet another occasion in which Pedro must find the courage to do the right thing and to once again come to the aid of the Holy Family in their time of need.

It is incredible that now as I look back, I can clearly see how God was accomplishing His promises by orchestrating my actions in such a precise way and layering my life, taking me back and forth, back and forth, and proving his existence in my life. That's the reason you have this book in your hands. When I finished my writing, I was worried about whether or not I was doing the right thing. I wondered, What if my decision is wrong? What if I'm not qualified for this? I don't know anything about the Bible. Who am I to honor Jesus Christ with my work? The voice of fear was so loud that it was keeping me away to being worthy to testify about Him. But then He gave me the supernatural. It was a Sunday at 1:57 on Easter morning, when the brightest, biggest light, surrounded by a beautiful, luminous blue light hit my face twice like a heartbeat! The next day, incredibly, I became a painter without even knowing anything about painting or drawing. This miracle was God's evidence and verification for my book.At this moment, as I'm writing, I can't stop my tears. I understood that my stories were not given to me just to enjoy myself, but they were given for a reason, maybe to be a key to open lots of closed or troubled souls to God, as has indeed happened with my own soul. This was my assignment: to write everything down without adding or removing a single detail, so that you will believe that Jesus Christ is real, and He exists. I'm not a miracle worker, nor have I been anointed with some supernatural power to convince you, but I know that my testimony about Jesus Christ is true.My promise to you is "by reading this book, you will experience the presence of Jesus Christ and His blessing to your soul."Remember, Jesus Christ is the only truth and a light out of darkness.

First, I must give God all the Glory for carrying me from the age of four until nineteen. I'm grateful he taught me to forgive. Sexual abuse wants to rob your peace, your joy, and destroy relationships. In this book, I'm inviting you on my journey of learning how to confront pain that no child should have to carry alone. I remember being told that there can be no healing until I faced the pain.In this journey, you will discover how I dealt with multiple relatives molesting me, being raped, and actually having to realize my father had a deep dark secret he didn't want his only child to see (me), which was his brown liquor and the spirit of perversion. Because of brown liquor, I experienced the ultimate betrayal and became homeless.I pray that every single person facing sexual abuse accepts that they are not alone. Never let anyone silence you because your story will help free someone else. After reading this book, I hope you walk away wanting to fight for your freedom, healing, restoration. My prayer is that you learn these six things.1. Stop waiting on an apology because an apology may not come.2. Find a trusted source to talk to.3. Understand healing and forgiveness isn't over night. It's a process.4. Don't blame yourself but choose to love yourself.5. Take back your self-esteem and release the shame.6. Never let anyone mute your tongue because God has given you a voice to cry out loud and spare not.

William Crawford was digging in the same dirt as his ancestors before him. They had spent their lives scratching a living out of this poor cotton farm in West Tennessee to provide for those of their own. He was a loving husband and father and cared deeply for his wife, Mary, and their three boys. A message came to their door one day that brought the news of a tragic loss while at the same time placing before them a decision that would change their lives forever. It was a message of life and death and one that brought both sorrow and joy to their home. The story weaves itself through times of great struggle and, with it, the despair that entered into their lives. The family is thrown into turmoil when William passes through a near-death experience that sent him into a long and deep valley of depression. In the months to follow, he would become distant from his family and walk the fields, begging God to take his life. It shows forth the grit and determination of three young boys as they take on the responsibilities normally reserved for the head of the family. In their father's absence, the farm itself was suffering along with those that depended on it for their very survival. If Crawford farm was to be saved, they alone must do it. The story is set in the south in the year 1952. It tells of the difficulties of hand-to-mouth living and of the families that endured desperate times to stay on the soil that they loved. The reader is carried to another time and place where people treated one another with respect and neighbor helped neighbor. In the end, victory comes shining through the dark clouds of discouragement and the family stands united in the light of God's love.
