Would you like to be happier? Would you like to have a stronger marriage? Would you enjoy having a better relationship with your children? Your parents? Your siblings? Wouldn't we all.In a world where we have everything at our fingertips, have more wealth than can be imagined, and are protected by many devices, God has been replaced. People are experiencing loneliness, stress, depression, and a host of many other mental illnesses. The temperature of the world continues to rise as people try to figure out what to do about climate change. Crime continues to rise as people spread further and further apart to keep themselves from harm. What if the answer to all these concerns is God? Join me as I journey through a passage that has shaped the life my wife and I have built--Psalm 127. This passage holds the keys to what ails the world unless the Lord takes you through these five verses by using the author's personal stories and some great stories in the Bible to drive a point home. That point? That "unless the Lord."Unless the Lord is a book about how culture teaches us that we can do it all on our own and that we have control; this book goes through the process of showing us that God is completely in control and that if we lived our lives that way, it would be easier; it would be more enjoyable. We would see more people living longer, healthier lives.Unless the Lord doesn't make any promises, but Psalm 127 does, and a life built on those promises could be an amazingly blessed life. Come and take the journey to freedom from the stresses of the world and enjoy "unless the Lord."

"I am still learning" is a phrase to always keep in your mind. Difficulties you deal with usually provide learning opportunities. You may have figured out how to solve a problem that you hadn't seen before, or maybe you learned what caused the difficulty in the first place, and now you can prevent it from happening again. Going a little further, if you can learn from other people's difficulties, you are two steps ahead. Learning what they did to solve the problem may help you with the same problem, and if you are lucky, learning what caused their problem in the first place may enable you to avoid it happening to you.I am now well into my eighth decade of life. Some days I think I've seen/solved most of the problems that may yet come up; other days, new problems come as unwanted surprises, so I am still learning too. I thought it was about time to share some of my experiences in the hope that what I've learned will help you. There are few guarantees in life, but with a little planning and forethought, you can often tip the scales in your favor, or you can change the odds a little more to your benefit. As a result, hopefully you will be able to avoid most major problems and minimize the impact caused by the others. The "trip" you are about to take will highlight many experiences from my life, some of which (hopefully) will stay with you, and you will benefit from what I learned without pain to yourself. I've always tried to see the fun parts of everything, whenever the situation permits. I also try to share what I've learned, in appreciation to all those before me that shared with me what they learned.Enjoy the "trip." I hope you will find many sections that you will pass along with your own experiences to benefit others. We all are still learning.
People have an innate desire for a defined identity and a sense of belonging. This project began as a way for the author to explore his personal search for identity and perhaps find some value in the experiences, good and bad, which have shaped him. What he found was a story that is not simply personal but universal, a story which he believes the Lord has given him to tell those who have ears to hear it.For those of us who have come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, we understand that the Lord has the power to take even the darkest of times and use them for our good. We might not see the purpose and value of those times while we are in them, particularly when we survey our pre-salvation history, but nothing we have experienced has been an inconsequential matter of chance. Every smile, every tear, every victory, and every loss has brought each of us to where we are today by his design. These are the pieces that come together to create each of our unique mosaics. This is the story of a man who has come to realize that his identity is not defined by a profession, a title, a dark family legacy, or even the sins that tempt him. His is the story of a child of God who understands the power of redemption not only to address the shadows of the past but also to shape and drive his hope for the future. This call from God for a man to understand his identity and purpose in Christ is a foretaste of the greater call for the Church to gain the same wisdom and to understand who she was designed and destined to be.
It was the year 2027 when the world was going through horrible times, and Jesus was observing everything from heaven. He came up with a perfect solution to fix it. Jesus turns to the Father and he says, "Father the world's problems are escalating and the people are more coldhearted. They are loving evil and hurting others because their love has diminished from their hearts. Many of them are committing heinous crimes and others are taking their lives because of the dilemmas of life pressure. The governments are becoming more corrupted. Do you see what the leader of Iran is planning to do? We must come up with an answer to the circumstances. We should select three souls to do our bidding on earth? What about these three?" "Yes, Son, let us select them. Matter of fact, we will call them the Renegades for Jesus." Meanwhile, the devil was observing everything that was happening on the earth, for people's hearts were wicked. Mother Nature was getting worse; therefore, he decides to come up with a plan of his own. His, son, Adam Bismarck was nearby him when he shares the plan. "You will disguise yourself as the savior of the world and make sure that everyone in the world takes the Mark of the Beast. I will assist you with the agenda.
Life is a journey. There have been plenty of times in our own lives where we have felt the need to give up because we have nothing pushing us to continue. Closest friends and family may have turned their backs on us, but there is one person who never leaves us nor forsakes us--his name is Jesus Christ.Sometimes in life, we tend to miss out on things because of our views and attitudes. We tend to lose focus, take missteps, lose sight of the vision, and we need something to help us get back on the straight and narrow path.As you read this book, you will receive some insights on some things that I encountered along my own journey. In this book, you will receive the chance to read my personal testimonies, scriptures that I meditated on, and some questions that I asked myself along the way. You, too, will have the same opportunities to not only answer those questions but to write them down so that one day, you can refer back to them. This book is designed to help you reset your focus, reflect on your life, refocus on God's vision and purpose for your life, reevaluate decisions made, and reapproach life with a new understanding, attitude, and determination to move forward.
Mary is a modern woman with millennial adult children. Her husband, Grant, was her gift from God who she trusted fully. However, her friend and soon-to-become family member through marriage became possessed by the demonic spirit of the Jezebel. Soon Mary's husband would be granting all the demon's requests. As Grant danced to the demon's tune, Mary frantically tried to shut off the demon's music. Together Jezebel and Grant plotted to entrap Mary as their animalistic graphic lust grew more and more deceptive. Would God let their plot destroy all of Mary? Or would Jezebel and Grant both find themselves entrapped in their own snare? That would, of course, depend on God.
