Jesus clarified the requirements of every believer. He simply said, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me” (Matt. 16:24). Sounds simple enough…until you begin to break it down.In today’s affluent society, most are not accustomed to denying themselves anything, even if they don’t have the means to pay for it. Personal responsibility is at an all-time low. When tragedy strikes, we look for someone or something to blame. Certainly not my fault.Jesus requires us to take up a cross. Well, that’s easy enough…gold, silver, or platinum? But don’t forget the cross is not jewelry to be worn; on the contrary, it is an instrument of death. Our death.Have an addiction that you are struggling with? Perhaps you have concluded that God made you to live as a homosexual. God’s fault there. And that alcohol or drug addiction, well, it’s a disease. Not my fault there either. So open the pages and take a look. Dare you. The hard truth for all is that the Bible, God’s Word, is a mirror. You and I must see ourselves, in light of His Scriptures, as He sees us. But read on. The Bible contains all the power and tools you and I need to obey Jesus’ command. So take up your cross and follow Him!

This book is an attempt to examine the similarities between science and religion instead of focusing on the perceived differences. It attempts to demonstrate the similarities by looking at common goals and challenging the dogmatic positions on both sides by concentrating on what the author considers to be “reasonable” possibilities considering where we are in history. It is intentionally brief in an attempt to keep it interesting and entertaining while challenging the readers to open their minds to the possibilities presented. It also includes episodes from the author’s personal experience where he has seen the possibilities presented at work in his own life and feels many of the readers will recognize those feelings as well. Life can seem very complicated, yet the author contends the basic foundation for living a contended life can be summed up in Three Simple Words.

Grace. We use the word often. We “say grace” before meals. “There but for the Grace of God go I.” But do we know what it is? Do we fully understand the many dimensions of how Grace works? For many, the answer is “not really.” Hence, Grace: A Workbook. Dr. Clark brilliantly incorporates the theology of Grace with the psychology of every day experiences, always focusing on the core of the Gospel.Grace: A Workbook is an invaluable tool to help us become the dynamic people that God has planned for us to be. It is a one-of-a-kind workbook written with a deep passion for the excitement of God’s love and Grace. At the end, readers will come out with a fresh sense of Grace, as well as a fresh look at themselves and what we can become through the power of Grace. The goals of Grace: A Workbook,• To gain an in-depth understanding of Grace in an easy-to-read, easy-to-understand interactive format; This Workbook came about as a result of teaching for a year on Grace in her adult Sunday school class. In preparation, she read many excellent books about Grace. However, she realized that many people, because of their life experiences, may have confusion and/or uncertainty about how to incorporate Grace into their daily lives. Thus, these “lessons” were conceived. Each week in her class, as the lessons challenged the students to comprehend the power of God’s love and Grace, they left feeling uplifted and excited to live their lives with a deeper faith and purpose in their Christian walk.Grace: A Workbook is interactive. It can have great benefit for someone to use individually, or, even more so, in a group setting.

Have you ever attended an end-times study or lecture and leave out having more questions than answers?Have you read parts of Daniel and Revelation and are totally clueless as to what it all means?I was once that person above. However, after attending a lecture several years ago, we were told repeatedly that we were to search deeper not only in the Bible but events in past history as well as today’s events to find the truth. I’m sure we can all agree that we are living in end times, but “where are we at, when did it start?” are just some of the questions asked. I took each of the sections of the lecture and really started studying not only what he had talked about but looked further and deeper. What I have in this book explains the kingdoms and time lines with Old and New Testament prophecy. Both fulfilled and yet to happen.I looked back at the early church to see how they believed. The Catholic Church to see what was changed and why and at what Protestants differed in their beliefs.Did you know that the baptism of Jesus was prophesied in Daniel and it happened right on time? There are many clues as to who and what the antichrist is, and it leaves no question. Even the early Protestant ministers knew what a lot of churches today have forgotten. So, dive in and read the information that I have researched and written about to help you understand and believe. And don’t just believe me, search for the truth yourself.

  • - My Experiences with Truth, Transformation, and Healing
av T Ruth Akins Mas Med DD
    402

This book is my story, perception, experiences, and manifestation based on my willingness to forgive and no longer define myself as a victim of circumstances. God gives that which is good when we seek to follow the good path. It is verified in the Psalm of David:Mercy and truth have met together;Righteousness and peace have kissed.Truth shall spring out of the earth,And righteousness shall look down from heaven.Yes, the Lord will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase.Righteousness will go before Him,And shall make His footsteps our pathway. (Psalm 85:10-13)We all have domination over our choice to live life at a higher frequency. The fundamental elements of transformation are perception, experiences, and manifestation. Our view of life shapes our desire to live our life to the fullest. Perception shapes our degree of saying yes to life. Reflection allows us to recognize, forgive, and let go to shift our present view of life to a higher vibration. The higher vibration creates a higher degree of desire to live and let life unfold. Life events are lessons or blessings that shape our journey. Storytelling is adding the sequence and details to our experiences to understand. Sharing those stories with others builds collective hope to change unjust conditions or become a better person. Transformation is seen in the manifestation of our life structures. We see shifts in our financial, egoistic, livelihood, health, spiritual beliefs, world views, community, and relationships. We grow stronger in who we are and become beneficial to the community by giving the gift that our soul came to give. We say yes to life at a higher level and create more happiness and fulfillment in our lives. This is transformation and this is the 8 Degrees of Yes!

  • - A Devotional Series Birthed From The Heart Of God
    av Michele Stoudt-Wright
    237,-

This devotional series originally came about in 2015 because I was in need of a morning devotional after finishing several from a Bible Application on my phone. Then it came to mind, that I should do one myself. Well, February is National Heart Month, and I love studying about the heart of David and so I started to write a small piece every morning as a text message on my phone to several of my friends.  I had no clue, as to how I was going to be able to have enough material to complete a month of devotionals. Little did I know that there was more… lol. It was also during this time, that some very special people in my life were going through life changing journeys, and this devotional series became an opportunity to reach out and speak words of encouragement, hope.Again in 2018, I asked for a commitment from several of my Facebook friends to join me, at least until 14 February. I told them that they could decide if they wanted to continue.  Most continued and many were added. From there it expanded to 6 months of daily devotionals written in Facebook Messenger format. You may even see some comments from the readers.Top of the Morning (TOTM) 2018 was dedicated to my granddaughter, Elvisha Jo Henry, who had heart surgery on 12 February of that year. We thought she was to have a new valve installed, virtually a new heart, but God had another plan to repair her existing heart. Many of us have new or mended hearts, through Christ Jesus and that is special!  Looking forward to having you join me on this journey... look for words of hope, love, and encouragement! God's heart... All things are possible...when we are lined up with the presence of God and our hearts are in rhythm and flow with his heart.  I believe it. Enjoy the journey!

The journey of life is a life we live in stages, not just by ourselves, but also with our families. How we handle these stages will determine the life we live. I hope that as I have shared some of my own journey with you, you also are inspired to lean on and trust the only wise individual who can love, comfort, lead, and guide you successfully throughout all of these stages. He is our Peace, Comforter, Strength, Teacher, Advocate, and Love, and as you communicate with Him, He will show you how. After all, He is the Messiah.
