I wrote these books to show that you can go through anything and still be successful, and still be a good person. Just because someone tells you that you can't do something doesn't mean that you should listen to them. People will project their fears onto you because they passed up on an opportunity to make a difference in their lives. Many people told me not to write this book or to use a pseudonym because it would affect how people in the medical field view me. I was ambivalent about publishing these two books initially. The metric barometer I used was asking myself, "Is this a constructive risk?" What is my "ROI?" by Return on Investment, I am not speaking of a monetary amount, but how many children and adolescents can I inspire and pivot the perilous path they are on? Unbeknownst to them. I have no skeletons in my closest that can't be allowed out. I went through it so that your children wouldn't have to. These two books were written as a testimony to what I believe wholeheartedly. There is no escaping the pressure of being a real one, so I embrace it and talk down to the people that don't, without contrition. I wrote these two books for the people who need purpose and identity. People need something to cling onto. I wrote these two books for children and adolescents who are continuing fighting. Fighting amongst themselves intrinsically, contemplating putting a rope around their necks and committing suicide because the attrition of life is becoming too large of a burden to carry. Spending time alone and not enjoying the company of others is a healthy constructive practice because there is only one person we are stuck with in this life. These two books teach the reader to stick with it, don't pull the parachute in the discomfort. It will work itself out. The monkeys on your back will finally start playing and swinging in the trees, and it will get organized. Because, if you pull out too early when you're not getting along with yourself, it's going to bubble up in awkward ways later on down the road in life, and you're going to be forced to deal with the pain in other gruesome ways. I got so many more results, when I didn't give a damn about the results. My target demographic are school aged children, adolescents, your son who got shot in his face on his way walking to school and now feels like his God given ability to exhale freely has been stolen from him. I wrote these books for people who are holding on to life by a thin piece of thread and feel smothered. They feel as though the pressure of school, friends, social media-image and what they want to become when they get older are all at odds with each other. They are indolently becoming paralyzed mentally, or succumbing to the pressures of anti-depressants, ADHD, oppositional-defiant disorder, drugs and alcohol. These books were written off-balance. Instead of coming in set, sturdy and locked in. I went into writing these books intentionally off-balance. I let my pen do the work, subsequently, I was able to find my balance. That's where the honey-hole is, where I felt the most alive as an author. Thank you for reading this book. It means a lot to me. GodSpeed
