北美教研生涯記錄作者在北美海軍學院(U S Naval Academy) 和約翰、霍浦金斯大學(The Johns Hopkins University)教學及研究逾卌年生涯。計劃寫多集。第一集至第五集均已出版。第一集包含就職前,助教授時期,副教授時期前段,及萬里行,共四章,涵蓋1966年至1972年,書號ISBN 978-1-62503-071-9。第二集包含副教授時期後段,及正教授時期第一段,共十六章,涵蓋1973年至1988年,書號ISBN 978-1-62503-097-9。第三集包含正教授時期第二段時期,共四章,涵蓋1989年至1992年,書號ISBN 978-1-62503-142-6。第四集包含正教授時期第三段時期,共五章,涵蓋1993年至1997年,書號ISBN 978-1-62503-194-5。第五集包含正教授第四段時期,共三章,涵蓋1998年至2000年,書號ISBN 978-1-62503-236-2。第六集包含正教授第五段時期,共三章,涵蓋2001年至2003年,書號ISBN 978-1-62503-271-3。本書為第七集,採用紀年式,包含正教授時期第六段,及退休。涵蓋2004年至2006年。以後數集將包含榮譽終身教授時期第一段、第二段、第三段等。記兩校培才,說灌溉耕耘。錄經歷見聞,寫教研風雲。咏胸懷意境,憶甘苦愉辛。積詩數千首,抒情發為文。吾非學文,亦從未認真學過平仄及音韻格調,不曾登堂,何敢言詩詞!然歌謎詞賦,平素所愛,惜指引乏人,只靠自行摸索,未諳創作之道。七十歲退休前,因工作忙碌,無暇他顧,偶有吟咏習作嘗試,均隨寫隨棄,並未收藏留稿。今年七十將四矣,教研生涯完全結束,東風重拂,白髮逢春,野翁心熱,始與和余背景相同數同窗友好對古典文學有興趣者互相唱和,聊志訴情,再興詩詞之念,又憶錄舊作及記咏昔年往事感懷,重握斑管,輯成此集,以留紀念。明知雪泥鴻爪,轉眼無痕,然敝帚之賞,亦可解老年一時之悶,親朋後人翻閱,權作念我。如此而已,豈有他哉?正是:教研多事堪回憶未曾入室寫詩詞,林泉消閑且為之,教研多事堪回憶,梗概留後庶可知。取名自吟集教研生涯敘詳實,不求聞達不求利,無意搏取後世名,詩詞故取自吟集。成功大學校友吳治博士,民國46年及50年本校機械系學士及碩士畢業,民國55年獲得美國伊里諾大學博士,即進入美國海軍官校機械系任教服務四十二年,並在約翰霍浦金斯大學兼教服務四十年,2006年退休。吳治在教學及專業領域上研究表現傑出,受到校方及校外學術界肯定及重視。吳校友歷年來獲獎無數,在教學研究方面,年年獲得校方的頒獎,1993年榮獲美國海軍官校最佳研究獎,1994年榮獲約翰霍浦金斯大學工學院最佳教學獎,1996年榮獲約翰霍浦金斯大學工學院最佳著作獎等;在行政方面,吳校友曾任美國海軍官校機械系系主任四年,1991年榮獲海軍軍部給予文職人員最高功績獎,並於2006年榮獲海軍軍部給予特别褒揚獎,譽為美國海軍官校有史以來研究著作最為豐富傑出文職人員;1999年榮獲北美州成功大學傑出校友獎。吳校友學術研究與著作極為豐富,為兩種學術期刊總編輯,擔任三種學術期刊編輯委員,除此之外,吳校友已出版九本專書,五百多篇學術期刊文章,三百餘篇學術會議論文,及兩百餘篇專書暨論文評審。其中1994年英國牛津大學為他出版了海洋溫差專書,此書在科技最負盛名的科學(science)期刊書評上極博好評,譽為海洋溫差領域之空前佳著。吳校友在1990年代亦曾任行政院科技顧問組顧問多年。

一個新世紀的新理論將影響世界----它就是相反論。 相反論是基礎理論,它認為人類和生物在科技進步中退化,社會制度和意識形態在發展中異化,事物在前進中倒退、在倒退中前進。人類需要在主動掌握這一真理中自覺進行具體調控和宏觀規劃。(I)用"相反論"觀點來分析自然和生物世界衍生出"退化論"。因為發明了抗菌素和化學藥物,人類患愛滋病成為不可避免;因為人類發展了助產術,因此婦女逐步喪失自然的生育能力 ;因為人類發明了熱兵器,使得生物界出現了要斷鏈的問題。從火、電到網絡的使用、從牙刷到眼鏡的使用,從汽油能到原子能的使用,都不同程度的造成了人類身體系統的隱性退化......(II)用"相反論"觀點來分析社會制度和意識形態的發展和變化衍生出"新異化論"(即"大同論"),任何社會制度和意識形態甚至廣義的包括科技理論都不可避免的要向其對立的一面異化發展,這種異化包含了演變、揚棄、兼容、反向、螺旋、否定之否定等等形式。叢培欣(Peixin Cong,美國華裔獨立學者、第二次世界大戰中美軍民合作反侵略紀念委員會秘書長、美中港臺共同改革百家論壇理事長)早年畢業於南開大學歷史學院,後研讀於國防大學政治學院、廈門大學經濟學院、上海對外經濟貿易大學和香港中華總商會工商研討班。從一九七四年即開始發表《讀秦獻記》、《論中法馬江戰役軍事部署》、《香港半官方機構的作用極其對中觀外貿體制改革的啟示》、《建立完善的中國商會體系的必要性》等有關論文數十篇。在美國完成了人類學、社會學專著《相反論》和個人回憶思考錄《聯邦共和夢》。叢培欣先生成長在革命和劇變中的中國,他是廈金炮戰將領的後代,馬祖島對岸駐軍主官,與習近平同為軍人世家和福建經濟體制改革的實踐者。作者從小躲著金門的炮火在廈門鼓浪嶼上軍人子弟小學,從南海艦隊穿著軍裝到南開大學學習世界歷史,在臺灣的馬祖島對岸脫下軍裝,在改革實踐中被福建省政府和習近平先生推薦去接受香港"資本家"和英國"殖民政府"的培訓,揣著共產主義信仰但卻著力去埋葬壟斷的經濟基礎...叢培欣在《聯邦共和夢》和《相反論》中提出了一個在一黨執政的中國實行中國特點的一人一票民主選舉和軍隊國家化軟著陸的建言。提出兩岸建立臺灣海峽非軍事區,兩岸避免戰爭的路線圖是:互不否認----相互承認----兩者需要從軍事互信開始走向法制化。努力爭取臺海實現"通橋、通隧、通心"的新三通,在臺灣海峽實現永久和平。叢培欣認為,認為人類在科技進步中退化,社會制度和意識形態在發展中異化;中國、美國以至於整個世界都面臨著一個同一種社會制度----資本社會主義社會,這是和平新世界的基石。
本书分健康、宇宙和灵魂世界三部分:健康篇作者在内地山区的农村长大,在一次偶然的机会中,发觉生食天然食物的野生动物比用精制饲料饲养的动物,在生命力和抗病力方面要强得多,根据这些自然现象,探讨了人类现代饮食与健康的问题。宇宙篇作者在一次看美国国家地理频道有关宇宙大爆炸论的一个节目时,觉得宇宙大爆炸论有很多矛盾的地方,并提出了自己的一些看法。灵魂世界篇作者在一次单独行山时,偶然看到了天空中有一个不明的、弯弯的发光体,并由此对世界事物产生了新的看法,甚至认为在人类可见的物质外,还存在隐形的灵魂世界。本书内容纯为作者的观点,望读者对健康、宇宙和我们的灵魂世界有新的启发。张捷帆,1963年出生于中国内地农村,1988年来香港定居,作者对对科学有兴趣,经常看到妻子和两名儿子喜欢买些不健康、但他们自己认为美味的食物回来,殊不知这些食物的背后隐藏了不健康的元素,透过作者长年对现今中国、香港两地的食品生产、管理、制造与食品安全、食品流通的体验与实践,结合作者自有的身心灵体验,希望家人与读者们能从中能得到一些"食品安全"、"健康生活"与"灵性感应"的启发,达到宇宙天人合一的终极目标。
美國詩人羅勃·福洛斯特(Robert Frost)說過:「詩就是在翻譯中失去的東西。」詩之所以為詩,主要是用來表達它的語言的魅力;但詩還是必需翻成另一種語言,好讓不同文字的人們有機會接觸和欣賞。此譯作詩集分為三輯,共收集七十多首中文詩與歌詞的英譯以及十餘首英文名作的中譯。第一輯是可唱英譯中文歌詞,第二輯是英譯中文詩詞,第三輯是中譯英文名作。希望舊雨新知也可透過中英、英中翻譯詩歌,找到自己文學心畝裡的一片良田。※自序※這一小冊分為三輯,共收集七十多首中文詩與歌詞的英譯以及十餘首英文名作的中譯。這些譯文是譯者多年來,尤其是退休後,點點滴滴將翻譯當做休閒活動累積的成果。一九八○年間,我曾短暫參加一合唱團。我注意到每次公演的節目單都有歌詞的英譯,用意當是幫助不懂中文的聽眾了解唱詞的內容。因此我有了一個構想:何不讓這些歌曲可以用英文演唱呢?本書的第一輯就是這樣成形的。將中文歌譯成可唱的英文版所面對的限制頗多。首先是每一句的涵意要配合音符的數目來決定可使用音節的多寡,其次是在適當的部位押韻並改善拗口的字句。如只需略加變更,我還會將古典詩詞譯成有音步的英詩。因此,詞意難免會有簡省之處。入選的全是我學過的藝術或流行歌曲。所有英文歌詞我都親自試過可以哼唱,但歌譜恕不便提供,只能註明出處。第一輯的二十餘首歌,採用者如有不順暢又不易與旋律協調之感,請原宥譯者的不夠專業。第二輯收納的古典與現代的詩作都是隨意選取的。有些是受朋友之請或是家裡字畫屏風上的題詩;有些是譯者和幾位詩友在「藝文小聚」談論到的作品。大多數是已發表而令我不盡滿意(換言之,與本譯者的解釋相左,哈哈)的譯作,或是為了「格律」過分削足就履扭曲文法的成品。這些譯文使我覺得至少須將算是讀得通,較不洋涇浜的版本呈諸於世。關於我個人翻譯的法則,有興趣的朋友們可以參閱附錄的「翻譯方法簡述」一文。第三輯的中譯,值得一提的是,大多數的譯文,每一行的字數都與原文的音節相等,押韻的方式也相同。好玩而已,是譯者自訂的遊戲規則。歌詞的中譯,顯然可以配合英文原曲歌唱。翻譯是件吃力不討好的事,譯詩尤難。美國詩人羅勃•福洛斯特(Robert Frost) 說過: 「詩就是在翻譯中失去的東西。」沒錯。詩之所以為詩,主要是用來表達它的語言的魅力。但詩還是必需翻成另一種語言,好讓不同文字的人們有機會接觸和欣賞。譯者只能盡心盡力而已。我不同意翻譯是「再創造」,更不喜歡有人藉此文飾自己翻譯的錯失。而我自己憑什麼來從事這樣的工作呢?除了粗通中英文之外 我曾創作過詩,自覺比一般譯者多一些對「詩」的敏感。我肯費心利用各種工具書和參考資料。最重要的是我有追求完善的心和持久不衰的興趣。內人信平是我最忠實的讀者、「不呼則來,揮之不去」的贊助人和啦啦隊,本書付梓全靠她的催促,「功高蓋主」,功不可沒!黃用二○一六年六月於維州墨客林

小說《另一種蹉跎》反映了中國大陸的一群高中學生的生活狀態。王曉石是一個普通的高中學生,每天在枯燥的課堂學習中設法找到快樂。他喜歡上了班裡的文藝委員梁佳,但沒有勇氣跟梁佳表白。王曉石的同桌老七是一個喜歡讀書的有獨立見解的叛逆青年,經常與老師和同學發生意見上的沖突。王曉石不像老七那樣叛逆,但是他十分贊同老七。王曉石發現梁佳與自己的好朋友區歐成為了情侶,他與區歐的關係也發生了變化,由原來的好哥們變成了最後的情敵。與此同時,王曉石也與梁佳產生了隔閡。王曉石從小就認識的同學孫怡婷也由於學習退步和家庭原因產生了心理問題......高考結束後,王曉石感覺空虛。他發現由於各種原因失去了他身邊的每一個朋友,他也漸漸地發現他在不知不覺中已經失去了花季雨季的時光。這是一個黑色幽默的小說,小說中的人物之間發生了很多有趣的事情。小說揭示了嚴酷的現實和目前的大陸高中學生的生活和教育環境,以及在這種應試教育體制下學生的情感變化和遭遇,以此展現了一個殘酷的青春故事,並讓人反思。《作者前言》十年前的一個晚上,我開始了這本小說的創作。那時候的我二十歲。很奇怪,我竟然是用筆在一張張的稿紙上去寫這本小說的。當時我正在讀大學,創作的衝動使我無法再保持沉默。我想寫一本有思想性的並不是單純意義上風花雪月的嚴肅小說。我也一直認為最有力量的文字一定是會讓人感動和陷入深深思考的。於是,我開始創作這本小說。我把它起名為:另一種蹉跎。這本小說我大概寫了一年的時間。寫完後,看到厚厚的一摞兒寫滿文字的稿紙放在我眼前,那種感覺我永遠不會忘記。後來,我的這本小說得到出版社編輯的肯定,並且在中國大陸地區出版。雖然在出版社的建議下對小說進行了刪減,並且還改了小說最初的名字,但是,無論如何,能夠出版我已經很滿足了。如今,將近十年過去了,我的這本小說終於可以一字不差的以我最初的原稿出版,並且還是最初的名字:另一種蹉跎。我看著自己大概十年前寫下的文字,仍然可以回憶起當時的場景:一個瘦瘦的年輕人,拿著筆和紙,在任何一個可以用來創作的地點,去表達他內心深處對周圍環境的洞察和對複雜人性的思考。感謝我的家人;感謝劉卡同學的封面設計;感謝當年在大陸出版時的楊編輯;感謝每一位已經相遇和即將相遇的朋友。張冠 2015年10月於美國洛杉磯

Nowadays, you and I are in the midst of AI, big data, multimedia, gossip, rumors, materialistic desires, and the great trend of the times.In the midst of the confusion and material satisfaction caused by complicated and novel things, have you ever thought about examining life with a reflective attitude and taking a careful and quiet look at life, the apparent convenience and innovation of technological civilization, but deepening the hidden nature of life that is hard to erase and sad and miserable at the bottom of our habitual thinking? If human life is like a special, unusual, significant and far-reaching key, every morning when you wake up to take it, you have to fill out the application form carefully and seriously, without being meticulous. Before going to sleep at night, thank God for today's gift and return the key to life with gratitude. If we have used the key of life thousands of times, over and over again, then why do we have to do as Sisyphus did, with great effort, to push a boulder up a mountain? After pushing a boulder up to the top of the mountain, we let it roll back down again, and so on, day after day, applying and repeating forever. ...... Imagine when we return the key to life, do we take an introspective attitude and examine our life deeply: what have we achieved today? What have we failed? So one cannot help but ask: which direction should we choose for the existence of the universe and life itself, and what lifestyle should we adopt? What is the value of the existence of life itself, and what is the true meaning of the existence of life itself? What if the days of our existence in the universe, in life itself, always begin under such hard-won circumstances? If our cosmic life existence, our existence itself, has always started in such a hard way and ended in such a sad way, then we must have a deeper self-awareness and reflection on our cosmic life existence, our existence itself. Therefore, the question of life and death will again become a sharp and sensitive issue. The Eastern and Western philosophies of life have, for ages, attempted to unravel the mystery of life and death in the existence of everything in the universe itself, in order to understand the true meaning of the existence of the world around us. They attribute life to the simple "existence" that distinguishes between animals and inanimate things, and to the "mind" that is uniquely human. It even goes on to use the phenomena that differentiate everything from one generation to another and the various theories that explain these phenomena, in order to decipher the existence of life in the universe. To decipher the knowledge and culture inherent in the existence of life in the universe. It serves the purpose of the existence and evolution of a certain kind of being itself. However, "mind" is a sum of the ability to realize the motive by the biological reaction of people through the precipitation and storage of known things. It is the sum of all the thinking abilities to feel, observe, understand, judge, choose, remember, imagine, hypothesize, and reason, and then to guide their behavior according to it. Thus, 'mind' covers the 'philosophical' level: the accumulation and storage of the known (subconscious); combined with the 'biological' (consciousness) level of brain information processing, that is, 'physiological response'.
