Natalie's saga continues through male archetypes, prophetic dreams, past life memories and legal situations on her journey to genuine love."Everyone we meet is our mirror - an aspect of our inner-self, either in the sameness or the opposite."In the Garden of Eden, God told Adam and Eve not to partake of the fruit from one particular tree - the tree of knowledge. The Serpent/Satan slithered in approach to the woman Eve telling/enticing her that it was okay to eat of the fruit of the tree. That nothing harmful would occur, to not believe God, but to believe him. Eve believed the Serpent/Satan and took a bite of the forbidden fruit. It tasted good and nothing negative appeared to occur. Eve went to Adam and told him as such. Adam took a bite of the fruit. Adam and Eve realized they were naked and became ashamed. God noticing their shame inquired of Adam, "Why did you eat of the fruit from the forbidden tree?" Adam replied, "The woman, Eve told me to eat of it. God asked Eve, "Why did you partake of the fruit from the forbidden tree? Eve replied, "The serpent told me that it was okay to eat of it, so I did."In the fall of Adam, he became a blame-deflecting narcissist. Shame was introduced into paradise. Out of his shame, Adam took no accountability or responsibility for eating the forbidden fruit. Instead, he put the blame on Eve, then Eve passed the buck to the Serpent/Satan. The 'devil made me do it' excuse. The Serpent/Satan knew that he'd won this first round. Adam held Eve out in front of him as a shield or excuse. This story line has continued on varying levels ever since.Satan was the original malignant narcissist caring only about manipulation, control, deception, lies, gas-lighting and destruction as, he tries to take the power of God for himself. Satan/Narcissists are full of shame. The shame of envy, lies and sin. Satan's goal out of his envy, is to try and usurp God by perverting and destroying God's most precious and prized creation that of the human being and what better way to do this, but in the romantic male/female relationship.Genesis 1:27 KJV "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."The Serpent/Satan began first thing to tarnish love, peace, purity, bliss and joy in the male/female God-created connection. In each and every male/female connection there will be three. Man, woman and Satan, or male, female and God. And of course, it extrapolates out from there into the world into each and every relationship on earth. There will always aspects of good and evil. It only depends on the spectrum and degree of good, or evil in each person, in any given time, as it magnifies into each relationship. Along with the awareness of self, either to step into self-reflection and healing, or to fall further and deeper into separation from self into sin and shame.God's creation of Adam and Eve necessitated a maturation process, as well as a process for salvation. Why do we attract to those that we do and why do they attract to us? This is one of life's greatest mysteries. Patterns of romance selection are guided by complex internal interweavings. Perhaps, the attraction is to those who carry the energy needed to become more aware of imprints & negative beliefs, in order to heal and further expand our soul.....
High in the Italian hills, lived a family of five pigs. The mother and father were generally proud of their self-reliant piglets. That is, except for the middle pig. While his sisters would forage for the family food, he thought everything was just a game. But in fact, he would never have a name himself, if he didn't do the same.Readers of Maurice Sendak's Chicken Soup with Rice, and Alligators All Around will be sure to enjoy this fairytale told in rhyme, along with its colorful illustrations.Young children will enjoy this silly tale of a piglet who must find a special food to forage, in order to earn his own name.Older children may grasp the deeper meaning, that there is value in working together, towards a shared goal.In addition, there is an overarching broader narrative regarding the necessity for human stewardship of our one world. This complex topic is written into the seemingly simple fairytale, so that children may understand the concept.
Daily life during a pandemic is unnerving enough without constant worries over whether you will go hungry tomorrow or have enough nutritious, sustaining meals to feed your family. This ongoing shortage has become more crucial than ever as local hunger relief programs observed a 40% rise in food insecurity and the need for assistance during the pandemic. I vividly remember being a young mother, scrimping to buy my toddler meat and vegetables and being grateful for my own meal of oatmeal and tea. The current situation is even more challenging, due in part to the constraints imposed by Covid-19.Access to nourishing food is difficult for countless people in rural, inner city and low-income communities. Many people are forced to eat the most highly processed and least nutritious food - because it is the only food available and affordable near home. Although highly processed food may help people meet their calorie needs, it does not provide the essential nutrients necessary to keep them healthy. Many forms of malnutrition result from these circumstances.Thankful for being retired, healthy and financially secure, I spent my time in isolation improving my own health and creating this cookbook in support of people facing a lack of proper nourishment. My objective is to share wholesome, comforting, and thrifty recipes to help all cooks be more creative using whatever ingredients are available. All royalties from the sale of this publication will go to the local food bank and my neighbors experiencing food insecurity during these challenging times.

As the third generation of Greek Americans come of age in the U.S., they learn their ancestral roots, and bond with prior generations that struggled to provide them with a better life.On the cusp of the 200-year anniversary of the historic Milatos Cave massacre, in which the author's great-great-great-great grandfather was murdered, this book is a powerful account of the actual events and people that shaped history.
As I write this in 2022, we enter year three of a global pandemic. The pandemic's impact on education is already emerging and I suspect will be future research paper fodder. One impact is teacher "fallout" from the profession. Teachers are leaving in record numbers from retirement, early retirement, and even mid-career professionals are abandoning teaching. So, how do we attract vibrant, creative, and intelligent individuals to this important profession? How do we retain outstanding teachers who are considering leaving the profession?Instead of ascribing to "scripted curriculums" for teachers, or devising testing strategies to hold teachers accountable, we should focus on strategies to invigorate novice teachers. How can they use their pedagogical skills to create engaging curricula? Teachers become artists when developing story lines for their curriculum that fosters student passions for learning. This approach engages both the student and the teacher to keep everyone intellectually engaged in their profession. The core struggle between "why I want to teach" and the parameters inflicted on teachers often leads to many exiting the profession within five years. This book examines why I entered this profession and what sustained me through four decades. At first glance, these essays may appear an unkempt time travel journey flowing between two careers-a high school teacher and a university professor-or too specific to offer pragmatic advice. However, I argue that four essential traits: passion, flexibility, building community, and developing intellectual engagement are needed in the practice of teaching. They are the rudder that guides teachers through the uncharted waters, and will ultimately sustain their fire for making a difference in children's lives. The format I offer are personal essays and reflections built around these four cornerstones of good teaching. Each cornerstone contains several essays that relate to that theme. While there are many books written about educational pedagogy as well as methodology, this collection is about why individuals go into teaching and what sustains their passion to continue. My intended audience includes preservice teachers, beginning teachers, experienced teacher-leaders who coach new teachers, and all those interested in how education happens. Let's roll up our sleeves and get started.
In A Trilogy That Explains Spiritual Growth, Jacqueline McNeil Watts has written and published under one cover, three books that reveal information that used to be taught in mystery schools to an elite audience. These Ageless Wisdom teachings are truths that have been hidden and/or misunderstood by Earth's humanity for many, many years. Due to our current level of evolution, we are now ready to receive and understand this information. We are also ready to learn how we can participate consciously in our growth from third-dimensional human beings to fifth-dimensional spirit beings, and how we are co-creating a new Earth along with more evolved beings and with the Supreme Creator of all that exists. This trilogy will be a rewarding and delightful eye-opener to those who wish to understand spiritual truths on a deeper level than that which is presented by most religions.
What do you do when there are too many things to do? For many professionals, the demands of work and life continue to expand as their careers advance. The ability to find a way to both manage the expanding scope and responsibilities of life and to also feel fully engaged eludes most. However, some have figured it out and solved this problem. The Balance Equation is informed by the authors' work with thousands of busy, successful people with too much to do. It's an examination and thoughtful analysis of those who have struggled to manage it all, and those who have developed ways to make it all work. It's a guide for people who want to create both success and satisfaction in their life and work. It's a framework for those who want to find a way to live an impactful, meaningful, fulfilled life without sacrificing their sleep, health, relationships, or wellbeing. Like a tricky math problem, the solution isn't always obvious; but for those who are willing to examine the variables, structure the steps, and do the work, the balance equation can be solved.

These poems were born from a place of hope. With the rise of environmental degradation and animal and human exploitation, I offer these words to comfort your troubled mind and rest your tired soul. This collection of poetry and prose honors the suffering we experience individually and collectively exploring themes of heartache, spiritual awakening, existential grief, and healing. This book examines consciousness and what it means to be human.
Clawing herself out of the caustic and sewage-laden river, Anna can only think of one thing-getting home. Though she lives just a few short blocks from the acrid waterway, she soon finds that the journey she's about to take is much longer and infinitely more transformative. For Anna lives in a steel town, a modern-day American steel town where the environmental movement slipped away years ago. She's spent her entire young existence in the shadows of the furnaces that give her town life. She has never questioned what they are or what they mean for the world around her.The Big Ol' Man in the Sky is the story of one fateful weekend when all that begins to change. It's a story about lives forgotten and memories rekindled. It's a story of the unending quest for truth and purpose.
