Here is an intended handbook that draws together certain essential elements of law and history in the defence of liberty from an ordinary suburban dentist who became victim of bank fraud and compliant kangaroo courts. My name is John and believe that We the People are a force to be reckoned with provided we are armed with the knowledge of what is right and what is wrong and what good men and women, who have gone before us, have sacrificed and achieved in the pursuit of truth and justice. We, too, have that same duty to our families, friends and neighbours.

By the time he was 15, the author had lived at 10 different addresses and started over at seven different schools. At age fifteen he had lived enough torment and brutality, from his father who killed his mother in one of his violent rages when Jim was nine years old. Moving on, leaving behind, his father and his oldest, unfortunate, now adult brother. Jim still had much learning to do, through what was to be a very differently challenging, but in the end, rewarding and wonderfully satisfying culmination. Walk this amazing journey with Jim and discover how your road, yet to be travelled, need not be mapped, by that, travelled, so far.

During the Battle of Fromelles on one terrible night in July 1916, the 32nd Battalion from South Australia and Western Australia lost over 85% of its fighting strength.Using the words of those from the 32nd Battalion who survived, the course of the battle in their sector during that night is reconstructed, and the tragic experiences of brave men thrust into an impossible situation is revealed. In the weeks and months following the battle, anxious families were gradually informed that a husband, son or brother was missing. For long years many were given little or no information about the fate of the missing man. The heart-breaking letters written by the families of South Australian men of the 32nd Battalion to the Military and to the Red Cross reveal their grief, anxiety, and suspense as they waited for news, and made their own desperate enquiries. The ''forgetting' of the disaster at Fromelles so that it did not become a part of the popular narrative of the war made it more difficult for survivors of the battle, and for bereaved families, to come to terms with their experiences or loss.

I was born in December 1942 into a world engulfed in a brutal global war which resulted in an estimated 75 million deaths. It also led to a number of fundamental changes to the way the post-war world would function. These changes included the dismantling of the last vestiges of feudalism, a retreat from colonialism and the transition from a hot war to a cold war. The latter being characterised by a contest between a communist versus capitalist economic order, and a democratic as opposed to authoritarian approach to how countries should be governed. Now, some eighty years later, those contests and associated levels of tension continue to exist. This memoir plots my journey as a refugee from my family home, Schloss Spreewiese, to life in post war Germany, to that of an immigrant and later a citizen of Australia. It provides an insight into the rich and colourful life I experienced living in that rapidly changing world and how those experiences have helped to shape my values and beliefs. I have tried to tell my story with honesty and humour.

An idea (channelled from spirit) that I couldn't get out of my head until I wrote it all out and put it on paper. Being an Aires and manifesting generator, I lose interest and get bored of things easily but for some reason this obsession with birthing this creation just didn't leave. So, I knew I was on the right path. I'm not going to lie and say it's been easy; I've been triggered heaps and I have avoided and procrastinated a lot because I had so many limiting beliefs blocking me that I have been able to work through. Why me? How could I make this more than just an idea? You are not good enough to be this person? I was so fixated on the negatives and the idea of it selling and making money from it. That energy never felt right with me or the reasoning behind it. So, I changed my perspective after doing some reflecting and realised this was healing me a gift to my inner child. Because I am the most important person in my world, I deserve everything I dream of and so much more. To have no one to follow in their footsteps is extremely difficult, but it's also so empowering because I get to choose who inspires me, I get to inspire myself and even more importantly I get to create a world exactly the way I want it to be. I get to be everything I ever needed someone to be for me.So, this is my gift to you, your permission to believe, and your permission to follow your heart to find your own inner peace.

This book tells the true story of how the author uses his Christian Faith to treasure and guide him through the time of his deepest grief following the premature death of his wife and mother of their six children. This yellow Hibiscus represents Doris' favourite colour. I picked a fresh flower each day, to put at her bedside in the vase shown in the picture. On one occasion, when wondering if there were flowers in Heaven, I looked up to see the sky filled with flowers. This must have been the answer.

Of all the Australian states, South Australia has most loudly perpetuated the historic myth that it was convict-free. But although it was not a destination for transportees, convicts and ex-convicts arrived in their thousands and helped build the new province. One of those was Billy Freeman. This is the true tale of a child convict who, after suffering the horrors of gaols and prison hulks, arrived alone in New South Wales aged just 13. Having laboured to gain his freedom, he then undertook an arduous cattle drive to South Australia with pioneer explorer Charles Sturt, and lived a hard farming life - confronting fire, economic depression and family tragedy - in the Adelaide Hills. All the while, Billy lived in the shadow of official discrimination, and he continued to have brushes with the law, even facing gaol again, with his wife Sarah, in middle age.Based on official records, the notes of family members and published histories, Billy's story is that of an unsung pioneer battler. It's a tale of determination and toughness, from a brutal childhood to making a new life in an often harsh environment.

On Being Human is an insightful collage of human experience and psychodynamics. Here, Mee Hee Douglas explores the topics of narcissism, independence, parenting, relationships, grief, and the forces of everyday capitalism on our minds. She draws upon her 20 years of psychotherapy practice to dispel narrow, populist ideas of mental health spawned from modern capitalism-she provides distilled but wide ranging antidotes to labels and panaceas. On Being Human urges us to re-humanise mental health as our ability to stay with the context and realities of our lives; to remain true to ourselves; to be faithful to our lives in the presence of forces that constantly tell us that there is something inadequate or wrong with us.

Are We Better Than? is the fourth in series of books that tackle pervasive and perplexing human issues. It is the scaled-down, abridged little-sister version of Can We Do Better? ... which is the first and by the far the largest of the series. Comprising well less than half the number of pages of Can We do Better? ... Are We Better Than? is less daunting and more manageable. This will appeal to people who prefer a smaller, easier, more compact read. All Don's books are about hope for us humans to do better than a mishmash of historical and current issues and harms that arise from misguided, dysfunctional and destructive expressions of masculinity. As clarified throughout the book, misguided, dysfunctional, harmful masculinity is not by all men, or even by most men, but is too-often manifested here, there and everywhere ... by too many men, in too many realms, over too long a time. Are We Better Than? weaves a detailed network of patriarchal issues in culture, religion, politics, institutions, communities, families, and relationships. It highlights the impact of man-made harms to the Earth, First Peoples, Women, Children, and other often-disempowered societal groupings. Some men might struggle with these unusual and confronting themes. In contrast, it is likely that a good proportion of women will sigh and nod as they read. Are We Better Than? concludes with a range of powerful and hopeful invitations that may help us humans do better than our history of man-made harms to ourselves, our kindred species, and the earth ... our Mother.

This is a book people might read because it relates time-honoured and field-tested values and principles to the trials and challenges of everyday life; just as importantly, it speaks the lessons of those principles in the kind voice of a man who has taught them and tested them in military life and then over long years employed them in his life and in his successful practice as a management consultant. Here are values you can trust interpreted by a human you can trust. You'd read this for its hard-won wisdom and its author's gentle humanity and long life's experience. This is a rainy afternoon by a fire; this is not a lecture or a call to arms. This is NOT the other Gordon Ramsay. But it is a kind of cook book-for life, not for the kitchen.

  • av May Waller

WARNING: This account is not for the faint hearted. Within the contents of this book, there is much to disturb and horrify. Conversely, it is a vehicle to uplift and encourage. Whilst it lays bare the depths of human depravity, it clearly models heights of courage and endurance. The recount shines light on the devil, Satan, but only to demonstrate he is a defeated potentate, powerful as he undoubtedly is to deceive and corrupt. The book also celebrates the dedication and expertise of medical and dental practitioners who study and labour towards healing, providing their patients relief from suffering. But first and foremost, completely and unashamedly, the purpose of this document is to testify to the living reality, tender compassion and miracle working power of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The narrative constructed through transcribed diaries from 2007-2013, bears strong witness to the power of the Holy Spirit working through born again believers, to confront and overcome evil, confirming the validity of the instruction given by Jesus to his disciples...not just for then, but now. Finally, this book provides evidence of the capacity of the brain in a certain percentage of people to 'orchestrate memory' to the degree that suffering is alleviated when undergoing extreme duress. This faculty predisposes a debilitating condition currently termed Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). The author was previously in error when consigning any reference to 'multiple personalities' to the realm of fantasy.
