Kids poems, everyone can read this book.It contains poems in different genres. Many experience were well explained.First single chap book of poem of mine.
The poetry should also become voice of underprivileged and deprived people . The primary purpose of poetry should not be entertainment . The poetry can also be used as a very potent weapon in fight against widely prevalent injustice in society . Even within the ambit of Poetry, the Ghazal is definitely most appealing format of expression . A Ghazal by virtue of its underlying rhythm establishes an immediate rapport with reader as well as audience .But it is seen that Ghazal is still recognised as an URDU phenemenon . It is true to some extent as Ghazals written by notable poets contain tough urdu words which may be difficult to grasp on plain reading by large sections of indian poetry lovers . If we have to - very frequently -search for meanings of urdu expressions, then the charm coming out of them diminishes . Why can't we include more and more Hindi and even Sanskrit words in Ghazal and make it more 'HINDIAN' .Why cant we call it more frequently as HINDI GHAZAL which uses simpler words easy to understand and whose meanings are generally known to all . In this book, an honest attempt has been made to indianise Ghazal.
The proverbs contained in this volume are pithy statements mostly derived from wisdom that expresses traditionally held truths or pieces of advice based on common sense or experiences encapsulating a society's values and beliefs. The beauty of these proverbs lies in the fact that they hold true for all times and are well thought out and honed by our ancestors from time immemorial. Their popular usage in colloquial language and Kashmiri needs no emphasis as they can be seen as 'spicy jargon' of Kashmiri language too. The compilation has 151 new Kashmiri proverbs, each of which is scripted in English, Hindi and Urdu for wider reach and, more importantly, to help the reader in pronouncing it rightly; lest it should lead entirely to a different meaning. Each proverb is annexed with an elaborate description, interpretation and usage with illustrative examples, wherever possible. Readers will find a marked improvement in the quality of the presentation, language and ease of understanding of the proverbs over the first volume. These proverbs are hoped to invoke interesting memories in Kashmiris, in particular, and positive reception from other regions as well, by recapitulating similar proverbs in their respective languages.
Why do we end up with suffering although all we crave is bliss and freedom? Why do we find ourselves everywhere in chains although we strive for freedom? This is because we do not have sufficient knowledge about the source of bliss and freedom. Spiritual masters from time to time descend on Earth to impart true knowledge to mankind irrespective of creed, colour or religion, by which suffering is eliminated and bliss attained. Not knowing the self is ignorance. Ignorance, according to Socrates, is a great sin. Sin begets suffering. Therefore Sadguru Sri Sri Arjun concludes by saying, "Ignorance is the cause of suffering."This book is a compendium of some spiritual discourses of Sadguru Sri Sri Arjun who propounded 'Divya Darshan - The Philosophy Divine'. This philosophy focuses on knowledge and divine virtues which can bring peace and bliss to the world. Divine thoughts, divine expressions and divine actions should be everybody's way of life to attain the divine destination. He says, "Knowledge paves the way to Dharma and Dharma to freedom (moksa)." He explains further, "Knowing the Law of Eternity is knowledge, and observance of the same is Dharma. Without self-knowledge, it is impossible to attain bliss and freedom - the ultimate goal of everyone."Sadguru gives a clarion call to mankind as follows: "If you want to live, be dutiful. If you want peace and happiness, blossom divine virtues from within. If you want liberation, acquire self-knowledge."
