The Pink Book - On Skin - the Private, the Intimate and the Erotic is dedicated to the space of the personal. A space where each individual being can know themselves Genuinely and recognise their borders, and come to know when they are to be protected, or transgressed. It is Pink, because that is the colour of our innermost layer of Skin, as well as the colour of our body-openings. It is where our nerve threads run, and as such, where we feel ourselves. As opposed to the outer layer of Skin, which alters in shades due to pigmentation, this inner layer is the same for all humans. This makes Pink the colour that connects us all. It is the space where each being meets itself. The Pink Book - On Skin - the Private, the Intimate and the Erotic' is the 10th book in the series 'Colour Spectrum of 11 Spaces', which consists of 11 Calligraphic Manuscripts: handwritten books created between 2011 and 2015 on the current condition of life. Within the Colour Spectrum, Pink is the book that is about the subjective being. The space that belongs to the Private person, and its own individual perception of the experience of living. The book seeks to create a structure to talk about the subjective, without forgetting the intrinsic paradox that lies in not being able to generalise this space in any way - because it belongs to the world of the Private person. The book begins with the space of the Private, inspiring each person to create a 'Pink Space' of their own that establishes a Genuine connection to themselves. The space where one truly knows oneself, and will thus be able to understand the perspective that life is distilled through, and be able to make the contextually right choices according to what one Genuinely desires. The space of the Intimate is when a Private person decides to open up towards one or many other people and expose and reveal their Genuine self. In this book the Intimate is not defined as a physical meeting, but rather as the symbolic, trusting and emotional act of opening up. Be it in the personal or professional aspects of life, in companionships or brief meetings, what these Intimate Meetings all have in common is that they are about the presence of Private Beings who share who they Genuinely are, and thus open up to one another. Finally, the space of the Erotic is defined as a Private Being that has opened up to another in the Intimate to then find each other in a physical manifestation. The Pink Space is the only thing that is ever ours to truly own, and this book is dedicated to strengthening it, protecting it, and sharing it according to what Genuinely feels right to each individual person, and unfolding our true and honest self throughout our existence.

The Brown Book - On Nourishment, is the space of change. This place within us, and surrounding us, where everything that has the potential to become something, can be nourished.I imagine this space of change to be like a dark brown field of fertile soil. A moist earth providing us with the optimal conditions to plant something. We enter it when we place a wish, a thought, an idea, a seed of something that is not concrete yet, but something that could become manifest, if it receives the right nourishment; of focus, of will, of feelings, of water, of time, of minerals and whatever it should need. In this protected space, we are nourishing changes all the time, be it consciously or not. This book reminds us to be aware of this, and take responsibility for nurturing the changes we genuinely want to see. This means that the space of change is also the space of patience, because change takes time. When we look at nature, it contains cycles of nourishment, of time passing in space that allows something to grow and become - or be dried out, forgotten or even destroyed before it becomes manifest. I believe that these cyclical processes seen in nature are also how lives, thoughts, ideas, projects, and wishes are manifested: That things take time to grow, and if planted at the right time and place, and nourished in a proper way, they will become something. This patience and connection to knowing the right time, place and Nourishment to make anything happen is therefore also how we work as people. Things that are to become, take time. This book is thus also a space of patience, of something that is growing to one day exist. The Brown Book - On Nourishment is the 9th bookin the series 'Colour Spectrum of 11 Spaces', which consists of Calligraphic Manuscripts, handwritten books created between 2011 and 2015. It is the book of giving and receiving and connecting to that cycle of creating to which we all belong, the deep dark depths of the soil that hold the remains of that which was, that which is, and that which will become. It reminds us of the rules that belong to the process of becoming, and is a call for us all to take responsibility for the times to come, and start creating the change we want to see in the world by nourishing - first our ideas, then our concrete definitions of what they could be, taking the Genuine actions towards the wishes and actions that will build the world as we genuinely want it to be - for ourselves, for us all, and for the ones that are to come. When we try to comprehend the measured concept of time, we are confronted by its vastness. To compare a 4 billion year old rock in your hand to the 20 million year old stones that lie scattered around the Earth is unbearably abstract to relate to. The same goes for when we try to relate to space, and the changes all known forms undergo: A body aging, buildings deteriorating, or the radical tectonic transformations of our planet as exemplified by marine fossils discovered at the top of Mount Everest, which bear witness to the fact that the highest peak of the Earth today, was once the deepest depth of the ocean. Time and space are the coordinates that together create a body of life in any given form. Anything that has a form is subject to change in one way or the other - just with different life spans in time and space. The Beige Book - On Time and Space is devoted to holding this abstract vastness, not as numbers or any measurable form, but as a feeling. Beige is the colour of the remains of something, when all other colours are gone. It is the colour of our bones, ruins, and deserts of sand. This book wishes to provide us with a space to understand through feeling that there were lives before us, civilisations before us, and that one day we will literally become beige as well. This space holds the humility of life by placing it into perspective to remind us that while we may lose ourselves in our present time and space, this is just one moment in a much greater span of existence. The Beige space must not be forgotten or neglected, for it holds the wisdom that reminds us of why we are here. The Beige Book - On Time and Space is the 8th book in the series 'Colour Spectrum of 11 Spaces', which consists of 11 Calligraphic Manuscripts, handwritten books created between 2011 and 2015 by Danish artist and thinker Helene Lundbye Petersen.
