According to the enemy, author Arleshia McMichael should be dead by now. She's been through so much in her life, but God has sustained her. In A Father's Touch, she narrates her life story, focusing on her faith and communicating that no matter what you experience, God always covers you. McMichael chronicles her trials and tribulations and all of the times she's been tested, and she shares examples of how God has walked beside her. Through her story, she provides inspiration, encouraging you to follow your dreams and not allow others' plans for you to overpower what God has in store for you. Don't get too busy in life that you forget to pray, study the word, and make your request known to God. Be still and hear from God. Focusing on McMichael's relationships, A Father's Touch offers insight into one woman's life but also delivers important lessons about putting God first.

Their journey takes them from Morocco to Egypt then Israel in search of someone with the knowledge to understand then translate the papers in the leather case the young courier possesses. The search to discover the contents of this archaic script sends Mark on a dangerous journey to determine the validity of the information in the documents following the trail of loyal band of Templar's who traveled this way eight hundred years ago. The interweaving of knowledge and philosophy up to the modern era goes back to Thales of Miletus, regarded as one of the seven sages of Greek civilization (624 BC - 543 BC). "e;Know Thyself"e; is an aphorism of knowledge attributed to the times of Thales. This Greek Maxim etched in stone at the gate leading to the temple of Apollo in Delphi has become a philosophical question studied to this day. Another sage in the exposition of total knowledge, a Vedic master of Indian philosophy, was Adi Shankara (509 - 497 BC); his teachings of Advaita, the Nondual reality of life, provided an in-depth study of knowing the true nature of Self and fulfilling on a practical level to his society what the Greeks knew as the highest teaching. This book explores the Nonduality, Oneness philosophy-modern spiritual teachings from ancient times. My discussions about Oneness have the flavor of the Advaita tradition, a revived and current view from Vedic Science, and the contemporary study and thinking about Nonduality. -Shivada AmritaWebsite: advaitaspeaks.com

When I was a young boy my most exciting times were hearing stories. Stories told to me by my grandparents. I was born in 1937 and was a young boy during World War II. I lived with my grandparents for over two years while my dad was in the army. There was no TV and very little on the radio to keep young people interested. So, it was stories, stories that were told over and over. I will always remember most of these stories and have shared most of them with my children and grandchildren. I am happy to share these stories and hope you will enjoy them. I have written most of these stories and some were told by my grandparents. There will always be story tellers. But not everyone has the desire to tell stories. I think we need to share these stories and never think they will not be read and enjoyed. This is my first book of short stories to be published. I have published three other books including, The Shoebox, The Saloon and Total Commitment. All of these are available at iUniverse, Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

this story is about a relationship between two individuals where one is significantly deformed physically. To truly appreciate, one must look on the inside. That's where the true beauty of an individual is located. Strangely enough, it brings to mind an old episode of Rod Serling's TV Show, The Twilight Zone, called 'Eye of the Beholder'. It was an astounding story just as many of the episodes were. Rod Serling was an incredible and talented man. If you're not familiar with his show, you really need to check out many of the episodes. You won't be sorry you did. They are available on the internet.
