God's Ways are Higher is a book written for the purpose of taking the reader on a Journey into deeper realms in God with inspirational teachings that give scriptural insight into the unique and diverse ways of the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. "My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the Lord. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT). God's ways are not easily understood by the human mind, in fact they may appear foolish when human beings try to interpret them with their limited understanding apart from God.However, God in His Sovereignty as the All-powerful Creator and Controller of the universe always knows what He is doing. These teachings are inspired by God given revelation from scripture and are either based on case studies of biblical personalities, specific incidents or focus on specific topics with general scriptures that reveal God's ways founded on His principles. The inspirational teachings serve to give a clear insight and understanding of God's ways or wisdom that affirm ageless principles underlying His actions and manner of governing His people and the world in general. They are also written to teach and encourage or exhort the believer in Christ with the hope of helping them in their quest to be renewed daily with a mind of Christ, therefore drawing closer to God through Christ. The apostle Paul in the scripture below explained that it is only those who are spiritual who can receive and have understanding of truths from God's Spirit. These truths are the ways or thoughts of God. These "spiritual people" as Paul states have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinth. 2:13-16 NLT).
Deborah Esther Nyamekye writes about Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Mashiach), his headship of the Church and centrality in the Christian faith, dependent solely on the bible (particularly the Gospel of John, but drawing from other biblical verses at times), and the Spirit of God for revelation and insight. The teachings and discussions in this book are focused on these key areas: - Jesus' deity (his nature as Elohim God in human flesh), character, authority and purpose or mission-Jesus' relationship with God the Father, his disciples, and female supporters, -what it means to be a disciple of Christ and how a disciple can cultivate and sustain an intimate relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ (John 14:6-7), -the nature of those who were hostile to Christ and his response.Yeshua the Messiah is beneficial as a bible study tool to both new and mature believers in Jesus Christ or anyone searching for the meaning of life.
