The purpose of my book is to show children who stutter that they are not alone and that there is a way to over-come their anxiety of talking. I dealt with stuttering since I was two years old and went through speech therapy until I was in the eighth grade. Sadly, I encountered people who were either lacking in knowledge and/or patience. So I taught myself ways to over-come my anxiety of talking, as they appear in my book. In addition to stuttering, I also had a learning disability.
