Brian's short life was filled with controversy, violence, misogyny, and betrayal from a wide variety of sources. Brian had a profound dark side to him that hurt him on many different levels: business-wise in his band and relationship-wise with his family, girlfriends, and children. This would eventually lead to his expulsion from the band and his untimely death 3 weeks later.
