This book deals with most commonly occurred voltage disturbances namely voltage sags and voltage swells and in order to mitigate these frequently occurred serious power quality problems emerging Custom Power Device (CPDs) such as Impedance source Inverter Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR), Distributed Static Synchronous Compensator (DSTATCOM) and Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) are considered. Voltage sag and swell magnitude, phase-angle jump and duration are considered as the most important characteristics of voltage sag and swell. The presentation of voltage sag and swell characterization is an important because power quality, troubleshooting, diagnosis and mitigation policy could be carried out only after characterizing the voltage sags and swells. This book describes the 33/0.4 kV power system to show the various characteristics of voltage sags and swells. This book presents a broad voltage sag and swell characterization (VSC) in terms of magnitude, phase-angle jump and duration under system fault (symmetrical and asymmetrical), starting of induction motor, sudden switching a linear and nonlinear load using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
Different isothermal amplification techniques are the signal amplification assays, the probe amplification assays, and the target amplification assays. Molecular techniques used for detection of quinolone resistance consist of the use of various techniques like polymerase chain reaction fragment length polymorphism, PCR, single-strand conformation polymorphism, nucleotide-sequencing analysis and multiplex allele-specific polymerase chain reaction. Main nucleic acid testing techniques are amplified nucleic acid techniques, microarrays, and non-amplified acid techniques. Recombinase aided amplification (RAA) assay has been successfully applied in the detection of bacterial and viral pathogens and overcomes the technical difficulties posed by DNA amplification methods because it does not need thermal denaturation of the template and operates at a low and constant temperature.
A data structure is a specialized format for organizing, processing, retrieving and storing data. Several basic and advanced types of data structures are designed to arrange data to suit a specific purpose. A data structure may be selected or designed to store data for the purpose of using it with various algorithms.Typical base data types which are available in most computer programming languages, are generally insufficient to capture the logical intent for data processing and use. Data structures are the building blocks for more sophisticated applications. They are designed by composing data elements into a logical unit representing an abstract data type that has relevance to the algorithm or application.
This book in the field of distributed control system (DCS) and software architecture addresses key issues like hardware and software modularity and platform dependency. The hardware and software complexity in DCS increases with the number of devices and the types of communication standards and interfaces used. Hence, to minimize the complexity in the design of DCS, there is a need for modular hardware architecture. Similarly, to minimize software complexity, there is a need for modular software architecture. Also, there is a need to accommodate and integrate various types of hardware devices that can support different applications, as most DCS are platform-dependent and application-specific. Therefore, to resolve these issues, this book aims to explain different software architecture styles for distributed control systems. The specified architecture suggests modularity in the design to find similar attributes, reducing design time, cost, and risk of errors. To conclude, the Layered Software Architecture for HDCS is introduced and described in brief.

Hate Speech and harassment are widespread in online communication, due to user¿sfreedom and anonymity and the lack of regulation governed by social media. Due to thiscyber trolling and bullying is major issue in a society. To overcome this problem, we canuse the ability of machine learning for hate speech detection to capture common propertiesfrom topic generic datasets and transfer this knowledge to recognize specificmanifestations of hate speech using NLP, ML and Analysis. Our main goal is to apply thissophisticated and efficient model on text data to get optimal and accurate results. We usedifferent machine learning and deep learning technique including multi modalapproaches. We use dataset that is divided into topic-specific like misogyny, sexism, racism, xenophobia, homophobia. Training a model on a combination of several (trainingsets from several) topic-specific datasets is more effective than training a model on atopic-generic dataset. Dataset can be gathered from various sources like from YouTubeAPI, Twitter API, web-scrapping or from various government sources. Our aim is toperform preprocessing and exploratory data analysis on collected data and deriveconclusion from it.
