If you were asked, "Solely using biblical language, what is God in His purest form," how would you answer? What is He really like? What is His true nature, unvarnished from tradition and religious rhetoric? You would think the answers to these questions ought to be easy. While the answers may appear simple, most of us have complicated it to the point that defining the Godhead is daunting. It has been said that it is easier to attack the doctrine of the Trinity than it is to defend it. And with the increasing resurgence and wider acceptance of the pagan gods from antiquity in pop culture, now more than ever we must know exactly what it is we believe about God ... and why.The God of the Bible is infinitely superior to all these so-called gods. This book will explore exactly how and why that is true, and how it is utterly impossible for the God of Israel to ever be compared with any of them. This book tackles traditional views about God that are often assumed to be biblical, but in many cases have replaced the Bible itself. After reading this book, you will clearly identify the absolute essential characteristic about God most often ignored, even by Christians. It is that very aspect of His nature that makes Him absolutely superior to everything else that exists. We will revisit the doctrine of the Trinity with a new set of eyes that will change how you view reality and how profound your faith in God really is!Finally, we will discover the special role we play as believers in revealing the Most High God of the Bible to the world. It is bigger and better than you think! Let us journey together as we delve deeply into the realm of His reality and declare to all creation with one voice, "THIS IS THE GOD OF ISRAEL!"

While traveling in the car with her mother and father, young Mary spots a shepherd directing his sheep across the road. Mary observed that he uses his staff to keep the sheep going in the right direction. He is patient with the old and the young sheep. When a young sheep has trouble keeping up, the shepherd gently lifts it to his shoulders and carries it. When Mary expresses her excitement to her parents, they use the experience to teach her that God directs His children in the way they should go using the Bible, the spiritual elders, and the parents.

  • - FALSELY ACCUSED Under Blasphemy Law 295-BC

    195,-

Pakistan is a great country, but it is neither easy nor safe to live there when you are a Christian. In Pakistan, Christians face new challenges every day. There is rejection, hatred, and discrimination toward Christians, who are considered second- or third-class citizens. Even the lowest grade Muslim is more powerful in Pakistan than any Christian, as we are always living under a threat hoping that nobody accuses us of blasphemy falsely. A sense of insecurity and uncertainty is always chasing us. Christians do not feel safe because it is very easy to target them due to hatred toward Jesus Christ and His followers. Even if no harm is done, I can be charged under the blasphemy law. The brutal fact is that even though there will be no proof that blasphemy was committed, there will be many people who will be ready to witness falsely. Just one announcement from an Imam over a mosque’s loudspeaker will provoke a whole community, and an aggressive mob will come out to kill and burn Christians and set up a court or do justice on the road. I always feel, Am I an alien in my own country? Christians are not safe in Pakistan, as Muslims claim that Pakistan is for Muslims and was made for that purpose. The fate of Christians in Pakistan is to live under a constant threat of persecution that sometimes can lead to death. Ironically, the world also treats us in a similar fashion, thinking that if we are from Pakistan, we must be terrorists. In a way, Pakistani Christians have no place on this planet. Pakistanis think that America and the West are Christian, so whenever something happens against Islam in America or the West, Christians have to pay the price in Pakistan. Pakistanis consider that Christians who live in Pakistan are also responsible because America and the West are Christians. Even though Pakistani Christians love Pakistan more than anyone else and have never been involved in any anti-Pakistani activity, they always become the target of many. This book is a mission in itself, compiled to help people to understand the challenges and sufferings of Pakistani Christians. It is the cry and the tears of every Pakistani Christian. We salute all Pakistani Christians, especially those who have been martyred in the name of Jesus Christ, those who are injured, and those who are in jail, not because they have committed any crime, but because they believe in Jesus Christ and are Christians in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The intent of this book is to inform the rest of the world, especially the Christian world, about what is happening in Pakistan because of the very dangerous blasphemy law, 295-BC.

  • - A Study of the Book of James
    av Don Griffin
    181,-

THE LETTER OF JAMES to the Church is one of the most unique and, to some, controversial letters of the New Testament. Often referred to as the "Proverbs of the New Testament," it is full of wisdom for everyday life. The central theme of every Book of the Bible is Jesus, but there is also a personal message in each Book that Christ Jesus is the Sufficient One, the Provision for every part and portion of our lives. He also wants to convey to every Christian that He is the Good Shepherd who watches continuously over His children. Finally, He wants to convey to His children that He loves us where we are, but He is unwilling to leave us where we are. James offers Christians a choice between the wisdom of God and the wisdom of the world, continually driving home the point that mixing the wisdom of God with the wisdom of the world is being "double-minded." He points out that God only sends good, not judgment, into our lives. He moves from subject to subject on matters of Christian living and Christian behavior, causing us to examine our own level of Christian maturity. When studying the Book of James, we may need to continually remind ourselves that "God is speaking to me." Too often, we fail to receive God's message for ourselves because we want someone else to change. James is not speaking to someone else. He is speaking to you and me.

  • - Let us go on to maturity ... Hebrews 6:1
    av F David Fawcett
    222,-

Paul introduces the "foundation stones" of the Christian faith with the exhortation found in Hebrews 5:11 through 6:2. We can conclude that maturity in our walk with Christ does not necessarily come with time. The first and most important step is ensuring a solid foundation in Jesus Christ. Just as with the Hebrews whom Paul addressed, we can remain as spiritual babies or go on to maturity. Maturity in Christ comes only through the understanding of God's Word and the practical experience of it working together.Although this book is based on only two Scripture verses, Hebrews 6:1 and 2, it includes Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. If you press in to complete this Bible study, then I will guarantee that you will be able to take every message or sermon or book you receive and see where it fits, or doesn't fit, into these six (6) foundational stones of the Christian faith. Great for classroom study.

Little Mary loves to sing but is afraid to join her church’s choir. Mary's parents use the opportunity to teach her that, if you love the Lord with your whole heart and soul, you should give back to Him the gifts He has given you. Just as eaglets learn to fly by leaving behind the safety of the ledge, Mary needs to step out in faith, believing that the Lord will lift her up. Some people may tell you that it is crazy to leap into the unknown, but they will never know the joy of soaring on the wind.

  • - Poems Inspiring ...
    av James J K Sandin
    199,-

FAITH in what? Perhaps, more precisely, faith for what? And as to the hopes associated with faith, what might they be? How might they become fulfilled. Would this be by a love either discovered or recovered? What provokes thoughts evokes oughts. In other words, anything worth considering awakens something in the heart, leading to the probability of it ultimately prevailing in life. Because the heart is created with a capacity to always believe and hope for more, it could never be content with less than all it can contain, to bear as well as to share. That is why this book is in your hands: you desire more. There is nothing more inspirational than when unwavering faith produces unrelenting hope and possesses unending love. Open your heart now to hear and entertain by faith what it will subsequently affirm and relate in its hopes of trusting and sharing love again. The poems you will be reading will inspire what calls to all hearts, the love that is hoped for as it is believed possible.

The Bible-God's Holy Word, Scripture-is the very keel of the ship of Christianity. If the waves of worldliness engulf it, then there is no hope. God's Word is the Keystone in the arch of Truth. If modern doubt is able to destroy that Keystone, then there is no place for the door of salvation. God's Word is the foundation of Faith. If we do not build on that, then the tides of higher criticism, so-called, will sweep away our house of Faith. This work examines the three attitudes toward the Word of God: 1) the Bible contains a record of the history and religious thoughts of men; it consists simply of the conclusions and opinions that men have formulated as a result of life and experience; 2) the Bible contains some of the revealed truth of God, but many other things in the Bible are the result of human error and ignorance; 3) the Bible, in its entirety, word for word, as written in the original manuscripts and insofar as faithfully preserved and translated, is the complete, inerrant, and exclusive revelation of God to man.
