Enrico is an author, illustrator, actor, and martial artist based in Miami and New York City. He began his martial arts training at the age of eleven with his uncle who was a student of Ron Van Clief. Chinese Goju was his first martial art. He later picked up martial arts again as an adult under the instruction of Tracy Tyler, a past student of the Jujitsu master Moses Powell. After two years of training with Tracy he attended City Wing Tsun in Manhattan earning a black belt in 2019. He currently trains in both the William Chung and Lung Ting lineages.Enrico Miguel Thomas earned a BFA from his alma mater, Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York two years ago, ending his studies there with an exhibition about construction equipment and industrial spaces. After graduating he decided to continue in this artistic genre by extending his ideas into the New York City Transit System. Eventually Enrico would use the actual New York City Subway map as his drawing paper, resulting in a most interesting collaboration of his signature architectural style with the abstract quality of the subway map.

This is Barbara's first published book. She has a BS and MS in education and almost 30 years of elementary school teaching in Connecticut, Morocco, Iran, but mostly in Texas. When Barbara was teaching, her students were recognized in the next grade. The teachers could always spot which students came from her because of their handwriting. Some people say cursive writing is becoming a lost art, but Barbara doesn't think so. If it is a lost art, Barbara wants to revive it in her own little way. Cursive writing is so much more intellectual and romantic.Because of student testing cursive writing is put on the back burner. Barbara doesn't want this love to die because there is no time for it and because technology has taken over. We must make time for it. There is a place for cursive writing in our culture. This program can be used in elementary through high school. It can be used in home schooling, by parents helping their children in writing, by tutors and small groups. This simple technique can be easily adapted for teens and adults. It is easy enough for some older students to teach themselves. The San Antonio Express News on Monday, February 27, 2017 had an article on the editorial page written by Katrina Erickson entitled "Cursive Plays Vital Role In Success". It was written primarily for Texas schools. She gives many reasons why cursive writing should be in the curriculum of every school district because it brings success to students in many ways. Maybe Barbara is on to something. The Walding family consists of Barbara, her husband Dan, four children and seven grandchildren. We all live outside of San Antonio, Texas

The House of Cheltenham is a fictional story showing how technology can lead us where we should not go. The story begins with author Mike having writer's block. His literary agent is pressuring him to finish his next book. Mike, along with his wife, Pam, decide to move from the big city to an old country house in eastern Indiana. There Mike hopes to find inspiration to continue his writing. Little did they know that many years earlier it served as a research laboratory for a doctor dying from cancer. They were totally unaware of the secret laboratory hidden below the house. Fifty years earlier Dr. Cheltenham was determined to find a way to continue his life. He invented a way to preserve his body and mind in a state of animation hoping for a cure in the future. Things get complicated when it becomes necessary for him to temporarily borrow a younger man's body in order to survive. Our story spans more than 100 years from the time the doctor starts his experiments. Soon the world is clamoring for Dr. Cheltenham's life-prolonging procedures. It seems there is no more reason for anyone to die, ever. But, at what cost.David Edsall was born October 1939. In his younger days, he enjoyed flying airplanes, boating, snow skiing, scuba diving and working at his various businesses. Edsall received his pilot's license in 1965. In 1983, he built a second residence along the Cumberland River, 275 miles from his home in Indianapolis. From there he took many river- trip adventures by boats he owned. His fi rst attempt at retiring was in 1995 at the age of fifty-five. He and his wife bought a 50-foot motor yacht in Detroit, Michigan. Departing in early spring, they travelled through the Great Lakes, the Erie Canal, through Canada on the St. Lawrence Seaway, back down into the US, down the length of Lake Michigan and through the city of Chicago, continuing down the Mississippi River to New Orleans and then across the Gulf of Mexico to end up in their new boat retirement home in Fort Myers, Florida. They arrived in late November of that year. Boredom caught up with Edsall in 1998, and he started a family business with his son, Steven. He is still active in that business at the age of 84.

Love of nature, love of the Word of God, and the relevance of both in our daily lives is what these meditations seek to demonstrate. Bird life and drama are reflected on as during the year the seasons change around the vernal pool.Since early days as a youth at camp, Virginia Reynolds Williams has enjoyed observing and writing about nature. But it wasn't until college that she began noticing the tree decorations that danced around and sang to her. With a job as a librarian that technology is taking over and changing from the way she was originally trained to do things, escaping into nature has become a welcome relief. The birds don't need to be taken care of like books; they are waterproof and can take care of themselves.Virginia lives in Redding, California, with her husband and works as librarian at Shasta Bible College and Graduate School, which is right beside the vernal pool about which she writes.

When we blame or shame someone else, we are visiting the shadow realm. Shirking responsibility gives our power to the other and makes us the Victim archetype. If we make excuses about the situation there is probably a secondary gain; the Prostitute archetype. The Child archetype is at play always and needs our attention. To avoid the Saboteur archetype, we can take responsibility, because we are aware of our part in the situation. This book acknowledges us as co-creators with the Divine and as such we begin to think with our Mind (hindsight); our Gut (I-sight); and Heart (Insight) toward being self-realized and with practise, what Abraham Maslow describes as Self-Actualized. Rorschach invented a method to get in touch with our subconscious so we can examine where that idea was created. Enjoy the journey, it is well worth the effort!

Unity in the Diversity of Different Religions uses quotes and stories to demonstrate that even though religions of the world appear different, yet at their core they teach us all to be good human beings. They teach us to practice virtues such as love, compassion, forgiveness, generosity, etc. and, we are to forsake negative attributes. The author hopes this book will help advance interfaith understanding.¿"Daljit Singh Jawa has given us work in his lifelong pursuit of the underlying unity of religions amidst their manifold diversity. The stories and anecdotes gathered here can be read with delight and benefit by all those wishing to join his quest to discover enduring truths which have inspired the world's faiths--and faithful- throughout history."- Barry S. Crawford, Professor of Religious Studies, Emeritus, Washburn University."Unity In Diversity Of Different Religions, is unusual and valuable as it compares the teachings of Sikhism and Bahá'í with other world religions often outside of Western religious studies. This is a welcome and important ground-breaking work in interfaith and comparative religious studies."- Dr. Chris Hamilton, Professor of World Religions and Political Science, Washburn University."Daljit Jawa's book, Unity In Diversity, is a delightful change from the Western-oriented inter-faith books we are more familiar with. In his book we learn from the Sikh, Buddhist and Hindu traditions which are less well-known in the West. Thank you, Daljit for sharing."- Duane L. Herrmann, former President: Interfaith of Topeka.

Life is a journey we take with different paths for each of us to travel. Some may discover their own little Camelot and sail through life without a hitch. Others find bumps and bruises around every bend. It's the shoes we're wearing in the midst of hard times that map our personal journey. We can choose to drown in safe pity or we can put on our best hiking boots and go forward knowing there is purpose in everything including cancer. Life and perseverance go hand in hand. If we keep our goal in sight, if we kick one pair of worn shoes off and slip into a new and better pair, if we learn to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start over as we go through pain and disappointment, we are destined to find a perfect fit.¿Born in a small town in Texas. Moved to California at age three. Raised in a dysfunctional environment. Met and was with my future husband six years at age 13 and 15. Married 57 years. Three children Eric, Kimberly, Michael. Granddaughters Alexandra and Kayla. Left the dental field to open The Enchanted Playhouse Preschool in California before moving to Bend, Oregon for twenty years. What I loved best were outdoor activities available. Now living in Beaverton, Oregon. Found volunteering at St. Charles in Bend and St. Vincent Hospital in Portland until Covid hit to be most rewarding.
