Today, evolutionary theory is ubiquitous in our secular education systems. This book is a critical view of neo-Darwinism, which is the dominant dogma throughout secular higher education and K-12 public education. The criticisms of neo-Darwinism cited in this book are from various overlapping groups of: scientists, atheists, philosophers and university professors. If you are looking for a resource that will give you sound arguments and facts, that will aid you in thinking critically about Darwinism; this is the resource for you.Evolution is no longer a biological theory. It permeates the natural sciences, social sciences and philosophy. It has become a meta-theory. Whenever scientific data are absent, both natural and social scientists resort to narrative as a super glue. Evolution is open to criticism! You will discover the following:Who popularized the term evolution and why Darwin opposed the term evolution How many times Darwin referred to the Creator in The Origin of SpeciesWhat world famous scientist believed DNA was not naturally causedThe Three Barriers to Life, that evolution cannot explainProof that life cannot be the result of random forcesHow catastrophic events wiped out about 90% of life on EarthWho are some of the leading scientists and philosophers that dare to question evolutionChapter summaries will guide you through the topicsHundreds of scientific sources are cited for further research Jeffrey K. Single. It seems to be a state of being that is viewed by many as being almost a sin, or at the least a social faux pas. Even comedians make a joke about single ministry being the one ministry everyone is praying to get out of. If you go to a singles conference you will primarily hear comments to encourage you that you won't be single forever. Why is that? Why do we view it as such? Are there any good Christian examples out there that we can look to as role models? For years people have asked me, "So when are you getting married?" I even had a close family friend that jokingly offered to put up a billboard to help me find a man. And in asking other single friends of mine if they ever hear this the answer is "YES." Whether the question comes from well meaning friends or our loving family members it can sometimes cut like a knife. It often leaves you feeling pressured to conform to those around you. But why do we seldom have anyone encouraging us to live life to the fullness as single men and women. I truly believe that our married friends and family simply want the best for us. They, or at least some of them, have found marital bliss and want it for us. But many don't seem to think; going by their actions, that you can find true happiness and joy in being single. All of this, with the prompting of the Holy Spirit, led me on a quest to find men and women of the Bible that were great role models for singles. Please join me in as we explore single or single again Christian role models. I hope and pray that by the end we will all be able to break free from the feeling that we must find someone NOW or our world will fall apart.

  • - A Collection of Conservative Newspaper Columns from the and Then There's the Truth... Series.
    av Jason a Cote
    232,-

It’s no secret America is in political gridlock between liberals and conservatives over what is right and wrong. When people disagree, both are generally convinced they are right and the other is wrong. There are rumors, talking points, opinions, and then there’s the truth. An expert in conservative issues, Jason Cote decided to voice his opinion on the matter through his newspaper columns, which appear in print and online in newspapers throughout the Midwest. Countering liberal arguments he says, “You’ve heard what the left has been telling you. Now let me tell you how it really is. There are liberal talking points and then there’s the truth.” He tackles everything from immigration to patriotism to debates over welfare and racism: all of which he compiled into his new book, a collection of his columns called And then there’s the truth… With liberalism and conservatism as the sides of the truth, Jason chooses to let his constitutional conservative beliefs and Christian faith aid him in countering recognized liberal arguments. He frames current events and political issues with tried and true conservative ideals. The wave of political correctness has turned America into a complicated mess, but it doesn’t have to stay that way. When you know what’s right, therein lies the truth.

"Dyed in the Wool," guides the reader through twelve intricate and powerful lives of women in the Word of God. The title may appear odd at first, leaving the reader to ponder how it relates to the women or to the Word of God. Dr. Tarver uses the phrase, 'dyed in the wool' - as coined so poignantly by Abolitionist Frederick Douglass in describing his own political party devotion - to describe the commitment of the women she highlights. Metaphorically speaking, 'dyed in the wool' perfectly describes the indelible, permanence that their commitment made to the 'fabric' of their lives. Just as Frederick Douglass shared that he was fully and irrevocably part of the fabric of his Party, Linda Lee Tarver likewise seeks to engage Republican women to become irrevocably committed to God." - Kim M. av Stephen Welton Taber
    439,-

President Barack Obama should have improved The United States. But two terms and eight years later, race relations in America were worse than ever. Author Stephen Welton Taber provides a political timeline documenting racism against whites by the Obama administration and discusses other failures including illegal and unconstitutional actions. Black Revenge in the White House compares the partly black President to the emperor Elagabalus who ruled Rome from A.D. 21 to A.D. 222. It appears that America is entering an age of decline like that of the ancient Romans

DR, a young Chinese man growing up through the political turmoil at the eve of and during the Cultural Revolution, faces forces fighting against the pursuit of such knowledge and more. As his family is persecuted for their intellectualism, his aspiration for college education is denied; as the ideological purging sweeps the nation, his pursuit of truth and higher understanding never wavers. This pursuit of truth continues into DR's adult life as he emigrates to the United States, encountering a society with fewer ideological limitations, but one that offers new complexities and worldviews to grapple with ranging from capitalism to middle class, from liberalism to conservatism, from democracy to human civilization. As DR ages, readers are given deep insight into his rich interior life of political and philosophical contemplation.

This book discusses a battle of ideologies that has lasted over a century and continues today, pitting those who defend the American Experiment and the constitutional structure against those who seek to replace that structure with one that empowers them to implement their ideas with little or no popular input.Progressives want governance by experts - bureaucrats with administrative power to make political judgments on how people must live, thereby narrowing the realm of their liberty. They expand the administrative state and create an identity of interest with Big Business. Both groups want an ever-expanding government: one motivated by power, the other by money. For its part, Big Business has set up camp on Capitol Hill, lavishly funding establishment politicians, of both parties, who rationalize the need for campaign money to the detriment of waging the good fight. Together, politicians and their cronies elbow the citizen off the policy-making stage. However, this state of affairs is kindling the passions of the constitutional structure''s greatest "check" on government excess - the American people. This is a fight that can be won. Deconstructing the Administrative State offers the blueprint for victory. Emmett McGroarty is a senior fellow at the AmericanPrinciples Project Foundation (APPF). He is a graduateof Georgetown University and Fordham School of Law.Jane Robbins is a senior fellow at APPF. She is agraduate of Clemson University (the 2016 nationalfootball champions) and Harvard Law School.Erin Tuttle is a policy analyst at APPF anda graduate of Indiana University.

When he opened his eyes that morning, eight-year-old Jason could tell something was terribly wrong. He looked through the door of his room to the hallway. The preacher was there, and some people whom he didn't know were milling around. Then Mom came into the room. Her face was pale. Her eyes were red. She quietly told him the horrible news: his father had killed himself. That moment started a whirlwind in his heart and mind that would last for a long, long time. Full of questions, he struggled in the months to come to find answers. Although Mom was immersed in her own grief, she tried to help him find the strength and understanding that could lead him through the darkness. This is the true story of a young boy who faced one of the most devastating situations in human existence: the suicide death of a parent. As seen through the eyes and felt in the heart of a child, the story will help caregivers gain an understanding of how the pain and reactions of grieving children differ from those of adults. The reader can find ways to help the grieving child in their life by reading about the journey of one who has experienced it and has been able to go on with his life. The story carries with it a strong message of hope and resolution for both the child and the caregiver. It will give insight into the thoughts of a child who is suffering a traumatic loss and provide tools to help the caregiver care for themselves as well. Fran Cote' is a transplanted southern lady who lives in the beautiful Ozark hills of Missouri. She holds a Master of Arts in counseling and worked in the mental health field for twenty years, specializing in adolescent and family therapy. She has taught undergraduate college classes and self-help seminars on stress management.

ABOUT THE AUTHORI’m a native of Cairo, Georgia and the son of a former banker and school teacher. When I was four, the family moved to Dublin, Georgia (my father’s home town). Prior to beginning the first grade we moved to Lyons, Georgia. Here I lived for the next fifty-five years except for my college days at Georgia Southern College where I earned a business degree. I would attend school, grow up, marry, raise two children, work in the nuclear industry, fight cancer, retire, and get another college degree in history while living in Lyons. Since 2016, my wife and I have lived in Statesboro, Georgia. My love of American history, mostly the War between the Sates era, interested my joining the Sons of Confederate Veterans where I am a past commander of the local camp and the Military Order of the Stars and Bars where I served as chaplain. I’ve given talks to schools and to camps about various events during those turbulent days in our nation’s history. Other interests include painting (mostly bricks) and college football.I’m a Christian and have been active in my church in roles as deacon, Sunday school teacher, various committees, and even the choir once. Presently, I’m sharing a daily devotional called From My Rocker with my social media friends. Hopefully, I will be able to publish a devotional book once I have enough entries.    To reach me see my fan page on Facebook.

  • - A true crime story of murder and redemption
    av John P Contini
    220,-

Liberty Press announces the release of Danger Road: A true crime story of murder and redemption, by criminal defense lawyer and author John P. Contini. Contini was the trial lawyer who defended Gilbert Fernandez, Jr., the former Miami-Dade police officer once named, Miamis Meanest Cop. Danger Road is the riveting courtroom drama that recreates the true crime story of three drug dealers who were brutally murdered in 1983 on a lonely stretch of dirt road - ironically named Danger Road, in the Florida Everglades. Each victim had hoped this final drug deal in Hollywood, Florida would be their big retirement score. Instead, the drug dealers allegedly found themselves at the end of a gun wielded by Metro Dade officer Gilbert Fernandez, Jr., and eventually along Danger Road in Miamis Everglades. Fernandez, formerly known as a Mr. Florida bodybuilding champion, kick boxing champion and black-belt karate instructor, was also alleged to be the muscle for the mob in South Florida. He and his crew were not there to arrest the drug dealers that night, according to police - they were there to kill them and steal their nine kilos of cocaine.

  • - Political Shock and Awe Provided by Reagan and Trump Utter Disbelief and Anger Experienced by the Left, Liberal Media and Political Elites
av Kevin J (Pacific Lutheran University USA) O'Brien
    206,-

There is no denying that many were shocked, both positively and negatively, in witnessing Donald Trump become the next President of the United States in his election in 2016. However, for author Kevin O'Brien, the election of Trump to office is reminiscent of the election of Ronald Reagan: rogue politicians who became, and are becoming, presidents of the people. His new book, The Rogue Effect, provides a presidential study on the two men who were underdogs in the election, only to surprise many as Republican leaders ready to face a President vs. Congress battle for the American people's welfare. Kevin also dissects each administration's viewpoints on domestic issues, from immigration to today's Obamacare, and how they both held their own against the media and politics. To Kevin, President Trump has the potential to "make American great again", just as President Reagan revived America as the "shining city on a hill".
