""Rewired, if asked if the book is a collection of raw, unfiltered, unperfected reminders to myself and others? My answer is easy. Absolutely. Written with hope to Encourage others to remove the filter, release judgement of self and others. Dare we sit with ourselves, beside each other, just as we are. Embrace, admire and meet your authentic self without judgement. Embrace each imperfection, mistake, insecurity. Sit with each part of yourself. Unapologetically YOU, as you are. Rewired became a series of written reminders, unpolished moments, reflections, to encourage both myself and others to reflect and widen the lens. Stand up feeling empowered and feel a greater sense of belonging. Placing my words onto paper was not a smooth road. Imperfections, """"what ifs"""", typos. So what? Let it all go, feel pride, shine a light on it and unapologetically smile with pride. you matter, your words matter, you are seen. I promise to stand up with my head held high after hitting send, just as I am.My hope is one person reads these pages and in the stillness and silence, feels valued and sense of belonging. May this have a ripple effect. Rewired is a reminder to all: you are seen, loved, worthy, beautiful as you are. Rewired is written with my full heart, encouraging myself and others not shrink, but take up space. Spelling errors, what ifs, hesitation, uncertainty? Beautiful. Shine a light on it and be loud. I continue to navigate my own growth, unlearning is messy. Learning to love new layers of myself? Messy. Finding comfort in the unfamiliar, the uncomfortable. Messy. Consider Rewired to be a personal invite to join me, in my messy healing journey. May each page encourage you to show up, as you are. We all trip and fall. Do you keep getting up?""

""I am the reflection of Portland lately; I've not even resided here for a year but somehow my life mirrors the city- the outcasted beauty of Instagram photos and reel videos of addiction of babies, as well as the ones I love. The prices I pay through the dead-end, sustainable capitalistic jobs I coddle in the name of family. The littered streets from resulting from addiction and manic effort to clean the apartment every two weeks. The short lived gentrification of slums and the regression of the poor East forced by the manifestations of the rich West's destiny. The stealing and the saving of us all. The switchbacks of emotional hikes and the parallel walks bussing streets. Wondrous friends drunk driving by downtown versus influences taking the MAX guided by strangers. Forcing dissociation from long lines of cars by music to get to point A to point B. Seeing lost soles on the sidewalks which glimmer of a starry night and worrying about how worms will still die while squirming along rough cement while my garnished words and rung out emotions in precise moments guide me to home.Portland is the place where I learned a mother's life would end, and a home where I am having to learn from it rather than tossing ashes on ground and bad secrets in the trash.I'm trying harder [again]. This is the result: Grass beginning to grow in the pavement.""
There's something inexplicable about humanswhen it comes to explaining our emotions aboutthe tiniest, fleeting moments of our lives. Thechime of the bell in a cafe, the glittering of leavesin the sun after it rains, the smell of home-cookedfood when you're away from home, the smile andnod of the baker as you munch away at yourpastry. Intricacies like these make one wonderwhat goes on in the minds of those around you. Will you ever witness these again? Will the glitterfrom the trees last long enough? Will you nodback? Will the bell chime again and snap you outof your daze? The poems in this book capture
Hello! But when I say hello, I mean welcome to A Unique P.O.V. (Point of View). This short collection of poems is from the point of view of someone with many labels: an immigrant, a military spouse, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a survivor of trauma, and an overcomer. Peep through the windows of their eyes as the author sculpts a new world perspective. Feel what they felt, and be taken over by a new reality where darkness looms but hope always endures. A Unique P.O.V. is a lighthouse for those who are lonely, heartbroken, and have deserted hope. After all, who hasn't had their heart broken before? Out of many, one.
A collection of poems takes the reader through feeling alive one second, and not wanting to live the next. It touches on the addiction to emotion, the desire to feel anything that comes along with it because raw emotion is better than feeling nothing at all.
""Here finds you a short book of poetry full of many themes which you'd be hard challenged to find one you won't relate to - with words of fortitude, contemporary verses of worldview and love of whatever you may hold dear. In particular, a short journey for those who love adventure, oceans, space and time. Not forgetting anyone who may need to tend to their hearts. Nor those requiring a thought or two about life itself. """"Find that which seeks youYour soul knows it So follow""""""

""Fall into madness to find joy, to find gleecome along this adventure and perhaps you shall seea glimpse of the void or eternitybut be fully aware of this truth that must bethat once you enter my realm, you are trapped to be freethere is no escape from this escape, for neither you nor mebut perhaps you may find, unexpectedlysome sense of magic to the madness is indeed, the keybut do not walk through my doors expecting """"reality.""""""
""The poems in this book are about people who have impacted my life, who love me and who bring out the best in me. There were moments when I felt emotional and started writing. Then there is effusive praise for the almighty and nature. It also comprises love for oneself and what I am passionate about. This book is composed with love in my heart. It is a very simple book, where you understand the walk of faith, relationships, love and wars within myself. Hope you enjoy the book of 21 poems....""
"Her Feathers on Paper" derives from the writer's name, the mythical bird, which symbolizes her memories, emotions, and thoughts. Her collection of short poems explores some of her personal experiences and meaningful moments. The inspiration for her writing comes from nature, culture, family, art, and spirituality.
""This book is the result of the author's life experiences - touching on love, loss, memories and healing. The first part of the book paints a heart-wrenching story about star-crossed lovers, fighting to overcome death-marked love. The next is about healing from the heartbreak, and learning to love oneself over everything else. Reading each poem in this book is like reading a letter to your lost love and walking through blood soaked memories, eventually to come out stronger and happier.""

""This little book is a testament to the fact that no matter how many trials you face in life, you can always get through it and use it for good... or creative purposes! In this anthology I've used objects that I love (like clouds and trees) to make fun rhyming poems, but I've also used a lot of the difficult traumas and events in my life as material to express it in a way I never have before! It's been a very healing process, from stuff I didn't know I needed healing in!The first few may be great for kids and families, the second half, more serious topics for adults.I've tried a few varied styles of poetry too. See if you can figure them out!I hope the themes touch your soul in understanding or just give you a chuckle!""
""If someone asks you a question "Who are you?" What shall be your answer? You will say I am.... Either your name or your profession. I say my name, my designation, my profession. Hence, all these are 'mine', they are not 'me'. My name is given to me, where I was born was given, my parents -did I choose them or given to me and who is the giver? we just receiver's? Then Who am I? who are you exactly. Each poem will make you question you""
""Will the person you're becoming love and forgive the person you are now? This isn't just a collection of poems; they are footprints in the sand, each piece is a step a little closer to self realisation, acceptance and familiarity. 'A planted seed' are extracts that may require you to retrace your steps, visualise your future, or discover who you are in the present.""
