This debut poetry book is a collection of stories that act as prisms into the fractal of memories that taught me about peace, love, joy, and devastation. The poems featured within these pages are an archive of the moments when time stood still and I was but an observer, moving through the labyrinth of life. It is a memoir written especially in honour of the cosmic observer within all of us.

Life is full of experiences, memories, love and loss. Sometimes there are no words for how I am feeling, and other times writing is my only escape. When I can't find the right words to express myself, reading the words of similar feelings remind me that I am not alone. This book is a compilation of poems and writings from a lifetime of mixed emotions and experiences.

I once considered myself a Hopeless Romantic, but then as you go through life you start to suffer the slings and arrows that having a heart that open brings. And over time you try to hang on to that ideal, and stay open to what versions of love and romance can be. And then... you find yourself much further down the line, slightly disillusioned but still romantic in your bones - your very brittle and damaged bones - and thus, you are a Hardened Romantic.

""Our mind contradicts itself and is such a hypocrite! It has multiple aspects to itself. We notice that the human mind is generally wired in such a way that it cares more about itself than others yet feel sad or guilty about being selfish. This human mind is also a victim of too much stress and constant pressure to be perfect and hence creates a chaos. We as humans make mistakes in an organized manner which until we focus and think about, are bound to repeat themselves. We can sort our mind just like we sort out our cupboards. But what is the frequency of such sorting? How to filter out thoughts? How to stay organised? I think, and represent those thoughts which we all get or are there in one's subconscious. We have a lot to learn, if we keep only the black and white ink in our brains, we will produce boring copies and will waste our lives! We can instead colour them, keeping our morals top notch at the same time! Let's get on an adventure of a human psyche and realise what our thoughts meant!""

Despite my best efforts, I had some difficulty writing another poetry book. My hopes for All Roses are Dead this time of year, are to explain how my life has taken a downward spiral. In my worst moments, I was the worst version of myself. Despite my struggles, I allowed myself to grow. As I have grown up, I have taken on roles I shouldn't have. A phase of acceptance and entering a demon's world. I was brought back to a man that never gave up on me despite the pain and misery I caused him. The first person I ever loved gave me my first rose bouquet. My healing was interrupted when I tried to avoid him only to be drawn back to him. Your love showed me all the reasons, despite my antipathy.
