Holidays leave an impact on all of us. Feelings, thoughts, sounds, smells, memories, many of them are tied to big events in one's life. This small collection of poems explores the themes of various holidays such as New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
These poems reflect my personal journey to overcome the most trialling time so far in my life. Writing has always allowed me to disappear into worlds created by the ridiculous place that is my mind, and escape reality whenever I choose. Words that have the ability to redirect our thoughts are the most powerful, but even more so when the experience is shared.
Nymphalidae is a series of poems from the perspective of a young woman finding her place in the world, like a butterfly spreading its wings. These poems feature themes relating to friendships, relationships and perseverance using nature as a tool to describe these complex emotions.
This poetry book is 100% all raw emotion. Lonely, sad, wondering minds, addiction, growth, love and finding peace within yourself are the main subjects of the poems inside this book.

This chapbook is Lily's first, although the poems are not new. Writing furiously as a 10 year old, she developed a style uniquely her own, and here she presents some of her earlier works where she experimented with subject and form. Centering mainly on colors and nature, these poems guide you through the world as a child sees it.
Delving into the subconscious mind of a millennial, one day at a time. Some raw, unedited, strong and heartfelt emotions spread out for the world to see. Some based on real life experiences of other or myself, others inspired from fantasies, dreams and worlds that cease, or do not cease, to be.
We constantly hear phrases like "love comes to those who wait," or "love at first sight." While love is something that we think we happen to stumble upon, it's more of a practice. The reality is that we work to find the perfect relationship, and along the way, we meet people who make our life feel like hell. My Flame is dedicated to the worst relationships ever, and the lack of work that past partners brought. This is a collection of pain, hardship, and abuse, but eventually healing when we find someone willing to put in the effort. Love is messy, awkward, and strange, but it doesn't have to be that way forever.
""A year of searching. Yearning for love, pushing it away.Having it return in new, beautiful forms.""

This book is about words. It is also about wordlessness, since I don't have words for many emotions and thoughts. These words are about me, but they are also about everyone and everything I encounter, because when I write, I think of the life I live and the lives that I don't or can't live.

February was not an easy month to write in even though it seemed like the perfect time to write in because I see it as a month of love and, for better or worse, that is what I write about. But trying very hard to make something happen is the best way to ensure it doesn't happen. These are a few poems about what it feels like after you've admitted you love someone.

All lonely people know the distinctive difference between being in a group of people and being part of something.peering through the spectrum is a candid exploration of adolescent expression from a neurodivergent perspective. Living in a world not build for you is an isolating, disregulating experience. While not everyone is on the spectrum, these poems will resonate with anyone who has ever felt isolated or misunderstood.Broaching topics including insecurities, love, fear, and ambition, this little book of wonders is not a compendium of pain. ""Poems are meant to be bite sized and savory, spicy and sweet. Like a dessert you can't resist having before dinner, and then again after dinner.
