Codes of a Soul is a poetry book inspired by the experiences of life. Through out life, many different kinds of love and loss are lived. The poems are mixed accounts of beauty, awe, pain and more. The author uses pure heart in sharing emotions that every person can relate to.
I have tried to look at emotions and feelings, often being dark and depressing but always with hope and better days yet to come.
The creative side of these poems, and short stories begins when you put in your own "two cents" per say. Purposely leaving some of the poems open ended to encourage you to come up with a different finale or perhaps, even grow the poem into something more unique.
I hope you enjoy reading my poetry as much as I've felt the therapeutic benefits of putting pen to paper to speak my heart.
Awake, awake, in cruel agony. This is a story of supernatural worlds; there is no single precise interpretation, and it's completely up to you to determine whether this is a fever dream or a near-death experience. An unnamed protagonist attempts to transcend the boundaries of different realities with the aid of Fate, but it is this very Fate who takes away his only reason to arduously search through an uncountable number of worlds, leaving him without any hope in a land so far removed from the living.

The only poem a music teacher has time to write is a Haiku. This book is a glimpse into those moments many of us have every single year, no matter what, where, or when we are teaching. What do I hope to accomplish here? Well, if you don't laugh, you might cry. Support the arts in our schools!
""I pray, I listen, I learn in waves, mesmerised at the constancy of the tides, the moon, and how our sun always rises. Soon. 21 poems in 21 days in September in the year 2021.""

""The book gives you an insight of how the author explores the underlying layers of her emotions. Some of which are deep-rooted and transpire when some subtle yet significant chords are struck by an external trigger. And other perfunctory ones that are always there but surface only when she actually hears her internal voice. She feels words are the best ways to describe the things which can't be spoken out bluntly! So she weaves her words into passionate threads of hope, light & discovery! And wishes that the readers, could find the wholeness in her poems exactly like she tries to find in her coarseness! After each poem, she uses a quick short reflection of what possibly could her motivation be behind the train of her thoughts. And hopes that it could motivate the readers too!""
Dreaming of Tomorrow consists of poems about figuring out who you are, growing up, wishes, dreams and much more. Written by a teen it captures how life can change quickly and can sometimes be hard, but it also tells of wishes and the beauty of nature. So, please enjoy, Dreaming of Tomorrow
"Between Here and There" is Verdi's second-and-a-halfth collection of poetry. This book is about the center of the venn-diagram between hardship and healing: it is an exploration of questions, especially if and how we can begin to move forward. In one journey, Verdi intimates that sometimes it is the things that break us that show us how to find wholeness. Upheaval, love, grief, and being grounded can be experienced all at once, and it is the harmony and conflict between these pieces of our lives and ourselves that bring us from here to there.
""Ever thought of the wonderful number of emotions just one human goes through in just one lifetime? Here is a compilation of some of those emotions including love, hurt, joy, sorrow, loss, wish, etc; shown in the form of poems. """"Behind the beauty of the corner, my birdie forgot to fly"""" """"You are the petrichor, I have been blessed with in my life """" """"Describing you to the dark and starless sky."""" """"I guess I'll remain a stranger to you, till I can love you again."""" """"Forever's just a word and our present gives it meaning.""""Open the book to get flashed by a beautiful collection of emotions and have yourself a good read.""
I decided to write my feelings down because my brain was loud and they turned out to be poems. Hope you enjoy my knitted together thoughts.
A short collection of simple poetry that tells the story of a man hopelessly in love with a woman that he knows he will never love him back, yet he does it anyway...
These poems show life. They apply personally, and generally, to many souls. We hurt, thrive, live, die, smile, and cry. Pain is experienced for ourselves, circumstances, and through others. We hurt on purpose and on accident, creating a large web of tragedy and love. The array of emotions we possess as possibilities is incredible and endless. You will find many in my poetry.
Sometimes the only way to the other side of pain and sorrow is by moving through the center of it. Putting these words on the page allowed me to do just that. They were my guides to healing. Perhaps they will be yours, too.
""Representing what tenderness means to the beholderPerspective mutated by the personal lensOf they who birthed this series of worksThis collection of poems shows a personal journey through September 2021, be that love, reminiscing on the past, or inspiration struck by a strange ornament in a room during this time of lockdown. While seemingly disorganised, this collection represents my physical and mental progression through this month. Though the connections vary from obvious to obscure, relevance remains through the temporal significance they all share.""
This is a book of poems that are written for, by and about my brain. Poems about love, stars, pain and everything that you can find in between. Like me, this work is supposed to be rough and frayed at the edges. I write about what I feel and I feel so much that, sometimes, I can barely comprehend it. I hope something from it resonates with you as much as it does with me.
Poems exploring the inner dialogue of the mind, recollections from the past and insight into the future.
Compilation of poems, musings and reverie; many dedicated to the inherent Yin in every Yang, the inherent bullshit in everything worthwhile, and the frustration of the disingenuous way of life that we are accustomed to.
Wounded is a collection of poems that showcase over 30 years of abuse and inner conflict. As you read each poem, you can feel the loneliness and emptiness of a child, the hopefulness of a teenager, and the freedom of a young adult. Letting go is the most courageous thing you can do.
Second time around, putting a mix of my random thoughts and ramblings, into one little book, to try and make sense of my past, emotions, and why I am, exactly, who I am
Here lies my inner most intense stream of thoughts in the form of poetry. May you be intrigued. Some days, I live in a dark pit of pain and hopelessness. Others, I live in a tranquil bay of serenity and divine light. It's always been this way, and I know there are hundreds of millions who can relate. Maybe this will help even one person feel less alone.
For Jacquelyn's first book, she is storytelling with poetry. Stepping into Jacquelyn's mind to see a different view of life's moments she has experienced.
