A selection of mediocre (at best) poetry, collated in September 2022. Some poems are meaningful, some are meaningless, some are - quite frankly - insane. Overall, it's a pretty good representation of my character and life, so I'm okay with that.

How does one even accurately describe a book of poetry? What's the subject matter if they are merely thoughts? Does that make it a journal? Do people still follow a format nowadays? Am I missing the point? Will anyone make it to the last question?

This book is a collection of poems describing how we see life. The power of observation allows us to interpret our surroundings and understand the world around us. Through the process of observation, we gain knowledge and understanding, which in turn shapes our lives. This is the gift of the written word: it enables us to share our experiences with others, whether they be happy memories or painful experiences. It also allows us to escape into a world of our creation for a time, where we can be whoever we wish to be and do whatever we desire.

During my adolescence which this book starts in with me now being 21 by time this is published, I went through quite a few downs more then ups until the last year or two. Many heartbreaks with trying to let boys heal me or love me enough to make me love myself. Society trying to break me down and succeeding at times. Losing myself over and over and trying to find myself. Then finally accepting the way of life and trying to enjoy the little moments leading to me find my soulmate.
