In his debut literary rendering, Eddie Traylor's words of wisdom dispel a perceived inconsistency between God and prosperity, in this amazing new book titled God, His People, and Multilevel Marketing. This book unveils spiritual precepts about business, and how the accumulation of wealth can benefit God's people and His Kingdom. The author masterfully interprets key Bible passages that give personal insight into the 21st century marketplace. As a bonus, the author includes an interview with the successful multilevel marketing guru Dave Silverman of Rochester, New York. This book is an examination of the advantages of Network Marketing (also known as Multilevel Marketing) over traditional business models. One great advantage is that startup costs are within reach of people with ordinary incomes. Additionally, overhead costs are much lower because you work from home. Whereas other businesses require commercial space and hardware, with Network Marketing all that's needed is a cell phone and a computer. In addition to these, add ambition, determination, commitment, and self-confidence, and let your dreams take you to the next level. However, the most important factor is having faith in God. With all this working together for your good, there are no limits to the spiritual and financial success that you can achieve. Finally, this book is a heartfelt appeal as a Network Marketer for local churches and their congregations to open their hearts and minds to see the possibilities. This industry can financially empower both individuals and congregations where everyone can benefit-all to the glory of God!
The African-American poet Langston Hughes, wrote, "What happens to a dream deferred?" by reading this book, The Business in You: Unleashing the Entrepreneur, you will learn that many businesses fail because they did not apply sound decisions during the inception of their business. Businesses can fail for a myriad of reasons like limited capital or because they introduced an inferior product or service to the market. However, the most detrimental misstep is poor planning which contributes to a large percentage of the failure that new entrepreneurs experience. Not to mention those who failed simply because they never attempted to start the business.Beyond a reasonable doubt, this book has proven that businesses will have many types of rejection and periods of failure, but those who achieve success are resilient. You must be open to criticism and be willing to refine your process continually. Furthermore, you must overcome your fear and hesitation to explore the business idea that persistently gnaws at you and take strategic steps to conquer the inherent vulnerability that stagnates your motivation. What happens to a business deferred? Unlike Langston Hughes articulated in his famous poem, it does not dry up like a raisin in the sun nor does it explode, it simply is introduced by someone else. Get off of your couch of contentment, come out of your cubical of crisis, abandon that office of obstinance and pursue your dreams with persistence. There is a business in you, so I implore you to unleash the entrepreneur today.Eugene L. Moore, MBA, Ph.D.
From the outset, this book was developed out of a sincere desire to improve the prayer culture of the church where I serve as pastor. The goal for the congregation was to unite in prayer for thirty days, praying for different circumstances each day. We started off with prayers similar to the Lord's model prayer that he gave to his disciples. Then we progressed beyond that to include interceding for institutions ranging from family to government, and from prison to the pulpit. We also prayed for change in the conditions in our schools and community. As we continued in community prayer, I soon realized that God was doing something powerful that extended far beyond the members of our congregation. Before the thirty days of prayer concluded, we had hundreds of people joining us daily on a prayer call from across the country. We then expanded the thirty days of prayer to an accompanying devotional so that the inspirational messages behind the prayers could be shared with others. Therefore, the impetus behind writing this book was to encourage people to embrace the practice of praying in community to invoke heaven's power into the affairs of God's people on earth. I therefore, challenge women, men, youth groups and churches to read this book together and pray in unison. Don't let the obstacles of distance or distraction, fear or uncertainty, dissuade you from the power of prayer-be courageous and Just Do It!
Sometimes you have to get lost to truly find yourself. Sometimes we have to go down the wrong paths to learn that we should never go that way again. I've been broken, multiple times, but the lessons learned and the wisdom gained outweighed all the bad that occurred along the way.My experiences run the gamut of lies and deceit to infidelity and betrayal, from being open and vulnerable to being determined and resolute, from being intense and passionate to being lonely and disassociated. In this book, I share all the ugly stories of my yesterday that created my beautiful today. These poems are for all the women who are currently with someone who should actually be in her past. These writings are for the women who came to the point to finally let go. These poems are written to provide inspiration, encouragement and to empower women in the state of "single womanhood," and to never be ashamed about it. These words provide healing from the memories of the ex who still hides in the recesses of your mind. These poems are for you, the woman who wants to heal and love again from the pain of shattered emotions and relationships, basking in the light of a peaceful heart and mind. I share with you, brokenness that made me whole.
Liberty Plays Her Part was initially titled "Liberty Never Sleeps" because of the changing winds of time blowing upon the backs and souls of people seeking solace and opportunity in America. Each poem in this small book relentlessly embraces how life's inhuman pain walks side by side occasional bouts of joy, during moments of newfound self-worth despite the twisted universal harmony hidden within the hearts of people. Liberty is gleaming her light, still playing her part in every human being, despite societies mundane injustices and unseasoned raw intentions, she stands for freedom intended for all God's people. No matter a person's race, creed, ethnicity or origin, all God's creation shall feel His mighty hand working a newness of love, a newness of justice, as His liberty watches, seeing all, giving all, their due. That is my hope today, tomorrow and for the future.

The African-American intellectual, Cornel West, wrote, "I cannot be an optimist but I am a prisoner of hope." If you have read this book, Mentors Matter but Poverty Sucks, you learned that the motivation behind my pursuit of higher education is to get beyond my ideological disposition and theoretical constraints. I want to affect practical, pragmatic solutions to societal problems and represent marginalized voices with integrity and scholarship. And I am committed to using my gifts and resources to help others. But perhaps doing this one child at a time - as I have - also falls far short of practical. What this study has proven beyond a reasonable doubt -even though mentoring is a positive intervention for at-risk youth - it is surely not enough to break the cycle of poverty and its offspring. There are over 15 million children living in poverty in this country. The problems we face as a society are enormous - so are the opportunities. What are practical things we can all do? We can feel moral outrage at the news of a drive-by shooting that takes the life of an innocent child - along with his potential and his talent -because this tragedy is a product of poverty. We can mentor. We can speak truth to power. And right now we can put negative labels that damage our identities in the backseat - how about "at-risk" and "racist" in the backseat, so we can let "hope" ride shotgun.

Wonderfully Made and Exceptionally GiftedEugene L. Moore, Ph.D. is a speaker, educator, prolific writer, consultant, world traveler, lifetime learner, and mentor who is committed to helping others maximize their gifts to ensure they are living their best life. His legacy is not predicated on his individual accomplishments but his ability to propel others forward. His coined phrase surmises his compassion which simply states, "Giving works for me!"Eugene L. Moore II (EJ) is competitive and compassionate. He loves his friends, family and of course God. He has so many dreams and like most kids has a spirit of invincibility. Whether he is playing a word game with his father to bolster his vocabulary, attempting to startle his mother as she enters a room or emulate his older brother, he is always smiling. EJ is a kid filled with joy and this book is an example of his desire to inspire kids to never stop dreaming, for success comes to those who are relentless in their pursuit of excellence. The playground is a place where kids have fun just running around and being among their peers. The classroom is where they engage in learning and begin to build their intellectual competence and inquiry. The home is where their affirmation comes from that gives them the boldness to conquer the world. For children whose homes are unstable, they can receive love from mentors or other outside resources. In church is where kids can learn that they were wonderfully made and exceptionally gifted. So you see, having fun on the playground, learning in the classroom, receiving love in the home or from others, and knowing that God's creation is not junk can provide all kids with the confidence to chase and catch their dreams.
