What they don't know is that the young man's mother has asked a family friend, a "bounty hunter," to find them and bring them home. After a couple of months, he locates them in Tulia, Texas, close to the New Mexico border, where they have been forced to stop temporarily due to the winter conditions. The bounty hunter convinces them to return to Arkansas with him, with the promise that he will help them make peace with their families. The novel tells the story of their many "adventures" along the trail, events which bring the three travelers closer together as they struggle with the trials that they face along the way, and the creative way that the bounty hunter helps them solve their many problems and stand up to their families. This novel is a combination of laughter, tears, tragedy, surprises, and events which will warm your heart. It is written to be appropriate for adults and young adults as well.
Christology, the study of Christ. In a time where opinions seem to plague the church concerning the Scriptures, we need to know the truth. The Bible is a very powerful and educational tool when used correctly. There is so much to be known about the Scriptures, but this information cannot be known through the flesh and/or man's knowledge. In this installment of The Revelation of Jesus Christ Which God Gave to Apostle C. A. Cowart we will explore several facets of the book that has seemingly caused so much confusion. We will gain an understanding of who Christ is through a comprehensive study of several topics such as: the Messiah, The Mystery of the Son of Man, The Glory of God, and Where is the Body of Christ. These, among other topics, will collectively help us understand the fullness of the one attribute that makes the man, Christ Jesus, God; as explained by the Bible. It is our prayer that this series has served as a powerful Bible study curriculum. It is also our desire that this book will serve the same purpose. So, as you take your journey through this literary masterpiece, prepare your mind to encounter a wealth of Biblical knowledge.

The book also explores how many women in the 1800s lived life as a man, one of the only ways to escape the bondage of marriage and children. While not perfect, Jocelyn seeks to create an opening for dialog on issues of formerly enslaved peoples, abuse towards women, LBGTQIA+ issues, and obliterating old ways of being. The book holds no punches as it pushes the reader to abandon beliefs provided by others and to create a world of their own making.

"Stellar, by Minghao Zou, is a unique depiction of the universe in terms of finely rendered poetry. The book draws upon a literary tradition of ancient representation which originated with the Hesiodic Works & Days, where the kosmos was portrayed as an efficient influence upon human effort. Zou also models his poem in the style of pre-Copernican Dante, who, in his Commedia, travelled the kosmos in both a vertical and metaphorical fashion. The visionary worlds of William Blake are similarly intrinsic to this poetic tradition where the heavens and their supernatural agencies inhabit and dramatise the lines of the poet." ~Kevin McGrath, Harvard University.Stellar is a book about the intellectual beauty of the kosmos and the marriage of heaven and earth. This union is accomplished through narrative which depicts a journey that we embark upon in the heavens, and how we have become ostracised from that domain and fallen into a terrestrial realm. The book illustrates our metaphorical passage through this world and how "she" eventually restores us to a universal feast or reunion. She accomplishes this harvest via the medium of agriculture and its laborious practices. Intellectual beauty is what she represents in this poetry and this is a condition which can only be apprehended by the emotional self or, that which intrinsically connects the inspiration, experience, and passions of humanity. The "we" of the poetry presents both the idea of the reader and of a poetic character: how it is that intellectual beauty manifests itself in us as moral agents. The metaphor of the kosmos is a candid medium through and by which all things are related, transmitted, or reticulated. These are composed of the fabrics of time and space and the atomic elements which bear the structure of this universal grandeur: stars, nebulae, galaxies, including the most bizarre mysteries of this conception. Beauty can be described in different forms, but in terms of universal commonality it concerns human affect and kindness; it is a medium of empathy and resonance, where individual beings-including the reader-might join each other emotionally or, with the entire unity of the kosmos.Stellar is a book for all astronomy-lovers.

Excerpt.... The sound of the surf down all of her thoughts and memories. She came back to her apartment and flipped on the news station out of Los Angeles. "...and in neighboring Ventura, a grisly murder was discovered at Radio Station KXOL.-FM this morning; a secretary found Program Director Tom Baker in his office,and..." Lynn stared at the radio. She reached for the telephone just as it started to ring. "He-hello?"'Is this Lynn Shaw?""Yes," she whispered. "This is Detective O'Donnell, I'm with Ventura Homicide, I'd like you to come down to KXOL right away, so we can get your statement.""I'm afraid I can't tell you much.""Let me be the judge of that, I assume you know Tom Baker was killed last night?""Yes, I just heard it on the radio. I-I can't quite believe it.""Well, we tried to reach you earlier, but I guess you're an early riser."Lynn frowned, this guy sounds just like my father. "Yes detective, I am an early riser, I jog on the beach every morning.""OK, get down here as soon as possible." Detective O'Donnell hung up, and Lynn slammed her receiver on the cradle. She went into the bathroom and took another quick shower. What could I possibly tell them.Lynn drove to KXOL in a daze. She marveled at the number of cars in the parking lot, for once she couldn't find a place to park. She wore slacks and a cotton shirt and with her tawny hair tied back in a pony tail, she looked much younger than her 17 years. Everyone seemed to be congregating in the reception area. She had nothing to do with the business end of the station and some of the office staff she'd never even met.A powerfully built man about 6'5" with steel gray hair approached her. "Miss Shaw?"He appeared tired as he offered his hand. "I'm Detective O'Donnell, I'm sure we can get your statement taken care of right away."Lynn ignored his hand. "I sincerely hope so." Great, she thought, a military type. O'Donnell left her and walked over to David Porter, a lanky man in his thirties. The sales manager smiled at the detective's obvious anger. "These kids that work here need to have the back of a hairbrush applied vigorously to their posteriors, if they were mine, they'd be taking their meals standing up." Porter hid a grin and nodded. "Yes, most of them are young and very immature."The two men walked down the hall to the General Manager's office.
