As Jesus was passing by in Matthew chapter 9, three-blind men recognized their opportunity for a healing; they seized the moment by crying out "Thou son of David, have mercy on us." (Verse 27).They did not ask for money, deliverance, or help; they asked for mercy. They recognized that if they must be made whole, and if their destinies were to be repaired, it would only happen on the template of mercy.Mercy was the vehicle, conduit pipe, or channel by which they could obtain whatsoever it was they desired of the Master; but Jesus was going to introduce them to another spiritual principle by asking:"Believe ye that I am able to do this?" (Verse 28).So, Jesus was saying, although mercy is the template or vehicle by which your request is going to come; however, belief (or faith) is the acceptable currency for this transaction.Any other thing would not be considered as a spiritual legal tender to acquire that which you desire; only faith (belief) would do!These blind men searched within themselves and confirmed that although they had no physical currency or shekels, they certainly had the required 'spiritual currency' of faith and answered, "Yea Lord." (Verse 28).Jesus responded by saying..."...According to your faith be it unto you." (Mt. 9:29 - KJV).We can only take delivery of our miracles in accordance with the measure of faith we demonstrate, show, or bring forth.Men only receive according to faith (Rom. 12:3, 6).Everything we could ever require for life and godliness is abundantly made available in God's treasure house. However, Dollars, Pounds, Yen, or any other kind of earthly currency will be totally unacceptable. The only acceptable currency is faith (or belief)! This book will take you, the reader, beyond the shallow waters, and beyond the letter of the word; it will launch you into the Spirit behind the word, the intent, the integrity and immutability of the Word of God.APOSTLE (DR.) DAYO BROWN.

We've all been through difficult situations and most often than not we used colorful phrases such as, "Oh, Cheese and Rice!", "Oh My Goodness!", "F*** My Life!", or "Why Me?!" Admit it you have said something of the sort before, haven't you? Let me ask you this, how many of those moments actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise? How many times were we left wondering why God allows certain circumstances to happen in our lives?Forgiveness, Mercy, Love is a short yet powerful testimonial of God's power and love in the life of one of His creations. Not only will Forgiveness, Mercy, Love leave you feeling uplifted and hopeful in the mighty work of God but it will encourage you during those difficult circumstances to put your faith, your complete trust, in the Redeemer's hands. These so-called "FML" moments don't have to last long, they don't have to be meaningless if you view them through the lens of the Creator.

The Science Fiction Abundance is a book of poetry that documents almost all corners of the science fiction genre. Science fiction allows for individuals to make the unfamiliar familiar. By this, it is meant that science fiction takes complex philosophical and existential ideas and places them in a story in a way where people can understand these ideas. Science fiction has the opportunity of placing the reader in a world that they could possibly live in someday, thus placing them in an unfamiliar world that has familiarity. This paradox creates cognitive dissonance, striking thought and fear into the reader's mind. Science fiction, in this work, is used as a warning for what could possibly happen in the future, what has happened in the past that is covered up, and what could possibly be happening in the present that we are not aware of. Poetry is used in this book to express these ideas due to the innate nature of poetry capturing the feelings and imaginations of those who read it. Poetry also involves meter and manipulation of words which, in itself, can reflect on many science fiction ideas creating an experience for the reader that is more than just a story.

GOING HOME is my story of growing up in Wayland, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, in the 1960s and 1970s. The mirage of an idyllic and upright community is shattered by the reality of dark societal forces fueled by greed, alcohol, and lust. Adultery, Molotov cocktails, and midnight drug raids collide with a world of tutus, horses, and elite ballet training in Yugoslavia. The perfection of my family's "Leave it to Beaver" façade smashes against the angst of multiple car crashes, electro-shock treatments, and death. The tumultuous and divisive times of the Vietnam War, the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr., and the civil rights movement are the omnipresent forces that fanned the cultural stresses of decadence and deceit prevalent in my experience growing up. The memoir is both a story of my life and a clear historical record of life in Wayland during this period. Reflecting over the past 66 years, much in the town has changed dramatically. But the essence of the town's natural beauty with its pervious connection to the perpetual cycles of seasonal magic has become a powerful touchstone of where I am from and where I am going. I am blessed to have grown up and to be growing old in Wayland, Massachusetts.

The Fleur-de-lis, a document by woman poet Emily Isaacson, was born from the confines of her imprisonment, producing over 800 poems in both English and French. Hailed as a mystic, her free-verse poetry astounded critics, earning her recognition as a distinguished figure in Canadian literature, with The Fleur-de-lis being likened to a royal bouquet that has traversed the borders to England.Crafted for a prince, the collection now stands as a regal compilation in one volume, bearing the authentic words and personal seal of its enigmatic creator. Isaacson's poems, akin to mini speeches, manage to forge an intimate connection with readers. The fleur-de-lis, her enduring symbol, becomes a powerful metaphor for valour, standing resolute against the challenges she faced. The poems, whose recipients have been recluses, monks, and ministers, resonate in convents but face rejection in churches. The dichotomy of her gift, viewed by some as divine and others as witchcraft, only adds layers to the mystique surrounding Isaacson's work.As history approached the conclusion of the Queen's era, the Royal Rose, Isaacson's poems transcended their temporal origins, becoming timeless expressions that would uplift and resonate with readers. Her legacy endures, casting her as the Queen of distant lands and closer hearts, leaving an indelible call through the corridors of time and offering a beacon of hope for next generations.

(Supernatural, Paranormal And Technical Services) investigation teams in the field. Over the years they have collected really great evidence but, each story on their own would not fill a regular U.S. Trade Hard Back Book. It is definitely an array of fascinating events from all walks of life... and death.

A SUPERB NEW AMERICAN VERSION.Of the many translations of Chekhov's THREE SISTERS for the English-speaking world, this one is very likely the Funniest. The footnotes alone are a useful and humorous compendium of notes and anecdotes.A DEFINITIVE NEW VERSION OF CHEKHOV'S VAUDEVILLE."Chekhov wrote Three Sisters in Yalta, and then rewrote it in early autumn in Moscow. He spent two to three days on each act, but there were significant breaks between the acts. With complete sincerity he said that he had written a VAUDEVILLE, and was taken aback at our amusement of this definition of Three Sisters..." - these words were written in 1917 by Nemirovich-Danchenko, co-founder of the Moscow Art Theatre (MAT) along with Stanislavski. "Given the ensemble playing, the friendliness of the performance, and maturity of form, Three Sisters was always seen in the theatre as the best of the Chekhov productions."

In my poem 'Life's Vagaries' I describe observations of a tattooed female, shuffling along in the market place with her boyfriend and the sign on a nearby church inviting people to 'light candles'. My emotional response is to juxtapose the meaning of love with religion. This book of poems expresses a wide range of experiences as I create responses to major themes in life such as birth, love and death. Covering over seventy years, the poems show how an early religious upbringing can leave its almost 'Freudian' imprint. This can be seen in 'Lessons of War' one of my early memories. My interest in philosophy is demonstrated in the poem 'Stages of Life in a Dressing Gown' where I reach a mid-life crisis and almost press the self destruct button...but thankfully recover to continue the journey. Hope you will join the journey with me and see life from a different perspective.
