"Whether dealing with Greek gods, kings, politicians, terrorists, or capitalists, 19 Women explores the ability and power to take by force that which is desired. Man 'treats the world like firewood' and insists 'I will have what I came for'. Violence and greed are softened by moments of jewelled beauty where 'all your lovers' hearts are garnets, strewn' and 'emeralds are embedded in walls, like [...] eyes'. Peter Clive's collection asks the reader to look unflinchingly at patriarchy."(Morag Anderson, 2023 Aryamati Pamphlet Winner)"A book like nothing I have read before. A book about women, but not in the way one might imagine. It features goddesses and real people, ekphrastic poetry and poetry prompted by newspaper headlines. A true celebration of women." (Fin Hall, poet, producer, filmmaker, performer)"Real things and things of the mind: all dealt with via a trenchant, tender voice that ought to strike a chord with anyone accustomed to the joys of poetry."(Professor Gerard Carruthers FRSE, Francis Hutcheson Chair of Scottish Literature, University of Glasgow)

This book is a biography of my father, Albert Solberg (1903-1996). He was born in Norway, joined the Norwegian merchant marine at eighteen, and came to the United States in 1924. He endured personal tragedy and a half-dozen brushes with death, but also had some amazing experiences in places like India, Samoa, and South America. Later, he worked as a yacht crewman on the Great Lakes. After settling in New York City, he married in 1933. He and his wife of 63 years raised six children, and he lived to the age of 92. This is a story about adventure, hard work, and family--how an immigrant carved out a piece of the American Dream. All readers have known someone like Albert, who came to America with nothing and created a good life in a new land.

A comparison between Earth's cyclical and balanced processes before and after the introduction of humans is made. An analysis of the attempts of the civilized to understand Nature and their eventual turning away from it to construct a reality of their own. This alternate reality is examined through economics, culture, and scientific lenses and their effects on the Earth and its inhabitants. The future is contemplated for humanity and the planet in light of current climatic and other worldwide events such as global warming and depletion of water resources to name just two of many. "How to Avoid Going Down the Toilet" pleads for a change in our attitude toward Nature because it is the final authority on how things work on our planet. The Only Alternative to our current way of life is introduced in Five action steps achievable in our lifetime.
In volume I of the Blind Century Professor Hoggan primarily looked at the rise of America and her messianic illusions of Manifest Destiny which included not only subjugating the American continent, but all of South America and ultimately the world - a fulfilled Manifest Destiny under which we now live in this 21st Century. The 20th Century - the "American Century" - is a result of this messianic drive, and the consequences for Europe were devastating. Europe is the cradle of our Indo-European peoples and of Western Christian Civilization, and the centrality of all that entails. The rise of messianic America, and then of the USSR resulted in the destruction of the heartlands of our civilization, culture, and science. Some of his prophecies have not yet happened, such as the collapse of the United States - because of the destruction of the dollar, her demographics and ethnic constituency - but are looming on the horizon. Indeed the U.S. has somewhat reinvented itself several times to maintain her power and prestige, particularly after causing the collapse of her long-time ally and some-time enemy, the Soviet Union, but the massive debt bomb in ticking and the world is becoming restless. How long the juggling continue, no one knows. Certainly not forever as we balance on the precipice of World War III with a revanchist Russia now being fought in Ukraine as an American and NATO proxy war.Hoggan writes in favor of a revived Europe which he hopes will be able to eventually throw off American (and Russian) rule and reestablish herself as the Center of a renewed and re-enheartened Western Civilization and Christendom.

Dr. Burton Montrose, a famous scientist, discovers a biological element which he believes will improve the mental faculties of the human race. Instead, when tested on a few human subjects, the discovery reacts, turning them into cruel, bloodthirsty murderers. This band of arch-criminals is led by Pierre LaRue, a cunning leader, and they cover up their tracks so well that the only clue to their identity is the ante-mortem statement of one of the victims that the leader, known as the "Crimson Stain," has blood-red eyes. This book was transcribed from the newspaper novel written in 1916, and is being presented for the first time in book form as a companion to the new Blu-Ray restoration.

The book is both earthy and heavenly. It is earthy as it deals with the pain, upheavals, disappointments, sickness, bereavement, challenges, and humanity that confronts a minister in his call to love and care for his congregation/community as well as his own personal challenges in carrying out the mandate of the gospel; the mandate in caring and shepherding the flock God has placed in his care, but also in fulfilling the Divine Commission to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature...."
All too often Jesus is presented as a weakling, a tender man without strength, or as Jesus our lover. These dishonor the historic Jesus who was extremely masculine, who fought against the Pharisees, drove out the money changers from the temple using a whip, overturning their tables. This Jesus is far too violent for the effeminate Christianity of today. Thus, he had to be toned down, to become someone who would not give offense to anyone. And then churches wonder why young men are leaving en masse. When our European ancestors converted to the Faith of Christ it was because they recognized his manly virtures in eschewing death, and boldly presently his message of the Kingdom, the Gospel, without fear or favor. This is the Christ that Fr. Haeuser, a biblical scholar and pastor, brings back to life before us. He speaks of those mysterious words of Christ about leaving house and family, forsaking all, and shows the proper context for understanding Christ's mission as the Warrior Son of God.Christianity is not a religion of death and sin, it is a manly faith which urges us onward to establish the rule and reign of Christ the King in order to fulfill our divine destiny
Jesus Christ preexistedthe Incarnation(John 8:58). He existed in apreincarnateform before He was incarnated (Php. 2:6). However, in this preexisting form He had no beginning.Jesus Christ is"theBeginning"(Rev. 3:14,21:6,22:13). We can be sure that He preexisted the creation of the world in the genesis of time; for, in actuality, HeCreatedit (Genesis 1:1;John 1:1-5,Col. 1:16-17,Eph. 3:9). Jesus is one among the plurality of people, who said,"Letus make man in our Image"(Gen. 1:26), when the mighty and strong creator God, called,Elohim(Gen. 1:26), created mankind. Herein, from eternity past, long before Jesus becametheSon ofMan,He was alwaystheSon of Godin whomtheFatherdelights (Prov. 8:22-31); and, astheSon of God,Jesus istheAlphaandtheOmega(Rev. 1:8,11,21:6,22:13) -the Second Person of the Godheadwho has interposed Himself on behalf of mankind from thebeginning, even before the fall of Adam, theretofore untiltheincarnation, andmuch moreforevermore (1 Cor. 5:1-5,Ps. 110:1,Matt. 28:19-20,Rom. 5:10).

These poems deal with the volunteer experience, the experience of day-to-day village life, and the clash between the two. They are by turns, bawdy, sad, and as surreal as the Peace Corps experience itself. A number of these poems have been published in the following journals; pLopLop, INPOSSE, Five Fingers Review, Flying Island, Bathtub Gin. Others were published in Kilhohertz Country, a chapbook of poems published by GeekSpeak Unique Press--Dan Grossman

An American Storyteller is a collection of Thomas Herber Lindsey's stories. Growing up in my family, I always heard from my father and his uncles about 'Uncle Tom' and his funny stories. My father's favorite story was 'The Major's Story.'By the time I was old enough to care or pay attention, time had taken its toll on my father's memory. One of Tom's playbills was captioned, 'Tom Lindsey - The Man That Can Make You Laugh.' Sometime after my father's passing, I found two of Uncle Tom's notebooks and transcribed them into this book. The stories are captured exactly as they were written.Thomas Herber Lindsey was born in Durham, NC on March 9, 1878, and was the fourth of eight children of John Monroe and Nancy Catherine (Morris) Lindsey. He was a lawyer, teacher, NC Senator, and traveling lecturer. He passed on Oct. 3, 1941, in Wilmington, NC.
