The Yale Russian Chorus (YRC) is a unique phenomenon-part singing group, part fraternity, part discussion group-that started in 1953 at Yale at the height of the Cold War, a time when exhibiting a strong interest in matters Russian and Soviet could be seen as suspect in the USA. It developed into a respectable tenor-bass chorus, which has participated in and won prizes at major international choral festivals. In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Chorus's founding, the YRC Alumni Association has published this new songbook, to document music that the Chorus has sung in the past and to provide a resource for the future. We hope that it will also prove useful for other singing groups that wish to incorporate this music into their repertoire.

Throughout my childhood I have observed the marble tiles that my parents had in the bathroom of their house, which formed wierd shapes of people, animals or other textures. I selected a few of them that inspired me to write this story, which I have titled Tiles Tale. In the last pages, you can see some of the original tiles. This is a fictional story where a boy named Yael tries to find his own identity. In his search, different characters appear that will give him clues to find himself. To do this, he will embark on all kinds of adventures that will take him to other times, where he will face risks and uncertainties, find friendship and spiritual support.

Within the kingdom of God, the rule of God is inviolate and single-minded, as only the mind of God and, by extension, the mind of Christ will rule and govern the kingdom. As we surrender to His will, we are engrafted into the kingdom and are consequently placed under the protection and care of the King of kings and the Lord of lords as citizens of the kingdom. Upon this revelation, the world will wonder why it took so long for us Kingdom dwellers to reveal the Kingdom to them in all its resplendent beauty and glory. In this book, We desire to take license and present a proposal to God's people based on scripture that seems almost too good to be true. We believe that the blood of Jesus is so powerful that it destroyed the power of the enemy, Satan, in the life of every believer who will fight the good fight of faith.

Human bigotry allows hate to fester but there has never been a time in our history when discrimination was right. I do not understand why the charge 'death by careless driving' brought against David Webster was so light. When a white man's actions result in the death of a man of colour, we have a duty to drill down and dig deeper, the inexplicable can always be explained with due diligence. Why wasn't a background check undertaken? If we have learned anything from the Lawrence Inquiry, we know that 'a person's racism' can be a default position to start from. The place is Bradford, West Yorkshire. The year is 2004. This is my testimony.
