An elderly and guilt ridden man befriends a teenager who he finds dangerously wandering a motorway. As an understanding between them evolves the boy realises the old man is holding a worry that appears to be eating away at him; and the old man realises the boy appears to have a drinking problem. Both set challenges for each other to help their perceived ailment.

Ernestine Stewart Mitchell retired in 1988 from the Houston Independent School District (HISD) as principal of Charlotte B. Allen Elementary School after thirty-six years as an educator. She has taught in Philadelphia, PA, Angleton, Texas and Houston, Texas. She was valedictorian of the 1946 graduating class at Marshall High School in Angleton, Texas. Dr. Craig T. Follins is a noted author/educator, speaker and global thought leader. He is passionate about social change for the historically marginalized and ensuring that history includes many diverse voices and narratives. He resides in Conroe, Texas. This is his third book.
Mary L Walsh Despite spending most of her school days being told off for staring out of the window, Mary found that it helped her to develop a vivid imagination which she could then use in her writing. Mary has enjoyed developing her skills over the years with creative writing and poetry and is delighted to have her first book published as part of the Pen to Print Book Challenge.
